As for the so-called "six names, seven faces, Ba Shen, nine noble people, ten health preservation, eleven career choices and spouse selection, twelve luck to avoid evil, thirteen suffering without resentment, fourteen good and evil stubbornness, and fifteen honors and shames come from karma", they are all added by later generations. It is impossible to prove who added it at present.
One life, two fortunes, three geomantic omen, four virtues and five studies.
First, life
Do you know what life is? Why is there a rich life? Why doesn't he have a rich life? Where did it come from? Seed reason. Sowing, he planted many seeds of good fortune in his last life: honoring his parents, supporting the three treasures in a legal way, caring more about the poor beings and releasing more. These are all blessings. So life, that is to say, cause and effect, should plant cause and plant this seed. Plant a cause, and then repair this fate.
Second, traffic.
Do you know what luck is? You don't need someone to tell your fortune. Someone said, "Master, can you help me look at my fleeting time this year?" Actually, I don't have to look at your time.
Let me tell you something, just four words: "Good luck." You have a good relationship with everyone, and you are lucky wherever you go, so you should have a good relationship. Buddhism emphasizes the establishment of good relations, caring for others with kindness and sympathy, and caring for all sentient beings and tiny animals.
There is a story: once, Sakyamuni Buddha took two people, the Venerable Master and the Ananda Venerable Master, to practice while walking after dinner. After a long walk, I am thirsty, and I have no water to drink. I just saw a watermelon field ahead.
The Buddha said to Mu Yilian, "Mu Yilian, you go to alms and turn to a watermelon."
Mu Yilian said, "OK, I'll go right away."
I don't know. After a while, the watermelon didn't melt, but the cassock was torn. I came back in a mess.
The Buddha asked him, "How did this happen?"
Mu Lianmian said, "Buddha, you don't know. There is a shed in front of Gua Tian, where a girl planted a watermelon field. She has a German shepherd. You have no idea how fierce this girl is. When I went, I said I would turn her into a watermelon. She said she wouldn't give it, and she ordered the German shepherd to bite me. Fortunately, I run fast. "
The Buddha said, "Oh, I see."
The Buddha said to Ananda, "Ananda, you went."
Ah Mo: "This won't do. The Lord is a brother, the avatar is the first, and he can't even transform. How can I transform it? "
Buddha said, "Don't worry, you went."
Ananda came back soon, very happy, with two big watermelons in his hand.
Ananda said to the Buddha, "Buddha, no, I think this girl is very good." After going, she was very enthusiastic, invited me to sit down, gave me some snacks to eat, talked to me, and finally chose two biggest watermelons for me. "
The venerable Buddha felt very strange: "Buddha, what is this?" Ananda and I have never seen this girl in our lives. Why is she so bad to me? So good to Ananda? Why is this happening? "
The Buddha said, "Do you know? Before the infinite robbery, you were all my apprentices and studied with me. You two other disciples have been there as soon as you are free. "
"On one occasion, I happened to see a dead mouse in the middle of the road. You saw this dead mouse in your last life, took a look and thought,' This dead mouse is disgusting, kick it off.' No compassion. Kick to the side of the road. "
"Ananda is a teacher younger brother. He saw the dead mouse and felt sorry for it. I thought,' it has the opportunity to be my parents in infinite robbery, and I want to repay you. Now the beast is dead. It's pathetic to be trampled like this in the middle of the road. "He is very compassionate and patient. He carefully dug a hole and buried the dead mouse. Help it read the death curse, read three conversions and bury it. "
The Buddha said, "Do you know? The dead mouse is a girl now. You kicked it before the disaster, so she ordered the German shepherd to bite you for life. Ananda had a kind heart before his death. She buried it with great care, recited the death curse and converted three times, so she was very happy. She was happy when she saw Ananda. "
Therefore, we should pay attention to that sometimes we are happy when we see a person, and sometimes we are unhappy when we see a person. This is the fate of our previous lives. That's why we should be good friends.
If others are happy when they see you, you can measure them by Buddhism. If people hate you when they see you, you should be ashamed. I treated him badly in my last life, didn't I? All sentient beings are regarded as buddhas, having parents in previous lives and becoming buddhas in the future. Why do I encourage everyone to release more? You got it? The sentient beings who can buy you release are very close to your fate, so you have the opportunity to buy you release. That is to say, if I push up again, or fifth, or eighth and tenth, it's probably like this. Your relatives, parents and other friends have a deep attachment to you, so you can buy it and let it go. If it is far away from you and you have no fate to buy it and release it, then release it more.
Think about it, these people, this fish, you pushed it for 20 lives, it is already your mother, do you dare to buy your mother's body and chop it up for cooking? You dare not! Therefore, release more, all beings are our parents in previous lives, and we should be grateful.
Bodhisattva samantabhadra's vow "Ten Wishes to the King" talks about "respecting all buddhas", past buddhas, present buddhas and future buddhas. The future Buddha refers to all sentient beings, and we should have compassion for all sentient beings.
Master Yin Guang said: Look, all sentient beings are Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and I am the only ordinary person. If you can really do this, make sure your practice is improving. How dare you quarrel? How dare a husband and wife quarrel? You regard your husband as the future Buddha. Do you dare to quarrel with Buddha? You dare not. So you have an equal heart, a compassionate heart and a good relationship with all sentient beings. It went smoothly everywhere. Therefore, I hope that everyone will have a good relationship with all sentient beings, legal relations. Don't be greedy when others are kind to you. You should know that this is my own blessing, which makes me have good luck in practice. I quickly practiced and returned it to him, hoping to guide him to become a Buddha and free himself, and turn this good karma into a Buddhist karma.
If someone treats you badly, it's a good thing. Remind yourself not to be arrogant. You had karma in a previous life. You were unkind to others before, so he was unkind to you in this life. Be ashamed and confess to others. If he is not good to you, you should be good to him; He is good to you, and you should be good to him; And cultivate an equal heart, so that your practice will progress. These are all luck.
Third, feng shui

Some people insist: "Master, am I unlucky?" Did I get the wrong name? So it's not good for me? "A name can decide everything about you? No , you 're going the wrong way. Of course, if your life is not good, there will be a small problem.
For example, in a house, there are three things in a house and three things in a house. Yin house is wind, sand and water, while Yang house is door, bedside and stove. You should know something about this.
For example, to buy a set of commercial housing, it is best to choose a square and formal housing. If you buy a piece of land to build your own house, you'd better make it square. Otherwise, something will happen to someone at home.
Very simple, this is the most basic. A square room, the northwest corner and the northwest side represent the owner. If you buy a commercial house, just bought it and move in, and find that there is a shortage of people in the northwest corner, such a homeowner will be occupied, or sick, or don't like to go home and find women outside. The southwest is the hostess, the east is the boy, and the south is the girl. You should know something about these.
Some real estate developers don't understand this. His house is strange. Such a house is not easy to live in, there will be problems, so pay attention. And if there is a direct charge, it is best to make a porch, which will help a little.
Don't be afraid if you are overhauling pedestrians. You see, the Nanhua Temple in the Republic of China was very shabby, and there was no great master to go to the abbot. It was very shabby. At that time, Guangdong General Li Hanhun invited an old monk named Xu Yun from Fujian to revive the ancestral hall of Nanhua Temple.

It wasn't like this before. In the past, Cao Xishui rushed directly to the gate of Nanhua Temple. The straight road is a gun, so Nanhua Temple is rather shabby.

Now we see the river around Nanhua Temple, which is called jade belt around the waist. It's very good. Look at the geomantic omen of Sihui Liuzu Temple. It should be very good. Therefore, when a great yogi goes, Feng Shui will not only control him, but also turn bad Feng Shui into good Feng Shui, which is very important.
So we are disciples of Buddhism, of course, with these as auxiliary, it is a little helpful. The most important thing is to cultivate the mind and cause, and pay attention to this cause and effect.
Nourishing the heart is more important than feng shui.
We say that good karma is good luck. You have this kindness and compassion. You are lucky wherever you go, and you have no problem with how others treat you.
Buddhism says practicing paramita. Some people don't understand, so they just think it's good to endure it. When her husband hit her, she endured and kept silent. No one mistreated her, endure, endure, endure. "I am a Buddhist disciple, so I bear it." Is this called forbearance? That's not true.
So we Buddha disciples don't understand at all. Some people kindly take others to the temple to worship Buddha, but he made a mistake invisibly. For example, we say, "This is the Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha." Hands are just right. Very respectful. I don't understand, so you can introduce me like this.
Some people didn't, so they pointed and said, "This is Guanyin." You mean swearing? I don't understand these subtle places. You misunderstood.
How to cultivate humiliation? Everyone should understand that the so-called humiliation of paramita is to change your heart with the wisdom of Buddha, so that there is really no trouble or anger in your heart.
In fact, you are very angry and want to suppress yourself, suppress yourself. That's not humiliation. If you do this, you should be careful.
I tell you, what will happen to a person who is depressed all day? Get cancer. Really, I'm not kidding.
But that man is very irritable. He loses his temper all day. When he loses his temper, he will jump three feet. What's wrong with that? Heart disease, high blood pressure.
Of course, what we should pay attention to is that these are not so simple, these are one aspect.
Tomorrow we will have a chance to talk about how to keep healthy and live a long life. We have three kinds of health: physical health, mental health and mental health. There is no pain in physical health, no worries in mental health, and no karma in mental health. These three things are what we want, no illness, no worries and no karma, so they are good and we are very happy. If you want to listen carefully tomorrow, you will know how to do it.
The so-called humiliation of paramita does not mean that you have to suppress yourself. The Buddha told us that in this world, if your heart is clean, the world will be clean; Your heart is equal, so you won't be hurt by this world. Otherwise, you will get hurt. Therefore, we should cultivate tolerance for paramita and know how to change with wisdom.
How to change yourself with wisdom and make yourself not angry? It's simple. You practice paramita. For example, you go to a place with a lot of glass slag and thorns. What should you do to protect your feet from injury? You can't level the world. It's simple. Just put on a pair of shoes. This pair of shoes has a thick sole, so it won't hurt when walking.
Similarly, if we can subdue our hearts so that you won't be hurt, these are the real paramita. Don't think that hard pressure is the humiliation of paramita, you are wrong.
Why are we angry? We were angry because we couldn't get it. Look at those kids. He is young and hungry. He wants to eat milk, but he can't express it. He cried, but he stopped crying when he got it. Similarly, so are we. Why are we angry? Because we want other people's things. I hope he respects me, I hope he values me, but if he doesn't value me, or doesn't respect me, I will be angry.
Actually, everything you want is bitter. What do you want? Satisfy yourself and surrender to your heart so that you can be independent at any time, so that you can be happy at any time. So I hope everyone can be a happy Buddhist disciple and a happy practitioner, so as to seek liberation.
Speaking of karma and good luck, why karma and good luck? Actually, this fate is very important. With this karma, there is this fate. So why do we say that the reason why you planted this Fukuda is to recite more scriptures, or to recite the classics of Huang Caishen and pharmacologists, because this fate is very important.
For example, there are two kinds of beans at the same time, one is soybean and the other is black bean. You want to harvest soybeans, but you don't want to harvest black beans, but you have two kinds of beans. What should you do? You put this soybean on very fertile land, keep watering it and get sunshine, and it will be harvested soon. If you don't give this black bean water and put it on the concrete floor, there will be no problem. Although everything happens for a reason, it will not be rewarded.
Similarly, this means that we used to have good causes and evil causes. What should we do if you want this evil cause to be immature and not get the reward of this evil result? You should keep mindfulness, cultivate good karma and good luck, keep mindfulness, observe and take photos at any time. In this way, you are just watering and fertilizing this good seed, good seed and good luck seed, and you will reap your good luck soon, so this fate is very important.
Now let's talk about a question, can the fixed business be transferred? Some people say that you can't turn around when you look at Sakyamuni Buddha, and you will have a headache for three days. When the King of Glass attacked Kapilao to defend the country, many people in Sakyamuni's family died, and Sakyamuni himself had a headache for three days, which means that you can't turn around after you set up a career.
However, we saw the Truth of Bodhisattva's Death in the evening self-study. Why can we die again? Why do you say you can't turn? It's simple. Everyone should work hard for this beautiful cause.
For example, I have a bottle with half a bottle of salt and then half a bottle of water. Do you think this bottle of water is drinkable? No, it's too salty and bitter. But if I take a big bucket, fill it with a whole bucket of water and pour this half bottle of salt into it, will this water be drinkable? You can drink. Do you think the salt is there? Yes But this fate is good, and this good fate has been diluted a lot. So this is called fixed business transfer, so it can be understood that fixed business can be transferred. If the karma is immature, it is necessary to keep mindfulness, repent more sins and pay more for it, so we must understand these aspects.
Fourth, cultivate virtue.
Yin Xiu de and Fu Bao
Being virtuous means that you practice silently, help others silently, do not publicize, and do not seek fame and fortune. This is to cultivate inder. You help all sentient beings unconditionally and selflessly, do good deeds unknown, and have a broad mind.

Fan Zhongyan is an official in Suzhou. Like the mayor of Dongguan, there is a man who can see Feng Shui. He said that when he saw a good place in a secluded house, he told him that if Fan Zhongyan's parents were buried in this treasure trove of feng shui, someone in his family would be prime ministers for ten generations in a row.
Fan Zhongyan was very broad-minded and said, "OK, thank you."
However, instead of burying his parents in this land of feng shui, he built a school-Suzhou Public School. He said: "Not as good as my family, not as good as the whole people in Suzhou, with good descendants and more talents. This is very good. " So he built this Suzhou public school. Since then, Suzhou has produced many talents.
Moreover, Fan Zhongyan's parents, although his burial place is very ordinary, because of his broad mind and great virtue, his descendants have come forth in large numbers until now.
We should pay attention to the cultivation of virtue. If you do good deeds after learning Buddhism, you will be happy if you are misunderstood and scolded. Don't say why. I converted to Buddhism and studied Buddhism for so long. I am really sincere and pious, and I have done a lot of good things. Why did I get scolded instead of going well? This is a good thing, just like a tree, this beautiful cause. If you do a good deed, it will be rewarded immediately. This is not a good thing, because the seeds you plant will bear fruit soon, and if you return them, they will be gone. But you planted this good seed here, but you were scolded. Your bad karma matured ahead of time and helped you get rid of it. Your good seed kept growing without reporting it.
Good or evil, if you don't report it, you will have it. So wait until later, this blessing will be very wide, and finally you will give it back to Bodhi and all beings in the dharma world. With this bodhicitta, your blessing will be endless.
Therefore, if you do a good deed, you should be very happy, don't panic, be happy and congratulate. Because the blessing behind you is great.
If you do something bad, someone will accuse you immediately. You should thank him. As a disciple of the Buddha, if you do something bad and think that no one knows, then your sin is even greater. Why? Look up three feet, there are gods. Do you think no one knows that you have done something bad? Heaven and earth know ghosts and gods, but buddhas and bodhisattvas know more. You think you know nothing. Do you really believe in Buddhism or pretend to believe in Buddhism? You have another charge of doubting Sambo.
Caution and blessing
Therefore, a guru said, "There are three kinds of constant caution, and people should be cautious when they speak." This means that we should be cautious in three aspects, and we should also be cautious in speaking in public. Because if we are not careful when we are happy, it is easy to lose credit. Why? I am very happy. People ask me anything and I say yes, yes, yes. If I can't do it by then, this person will have no credit.
When you are unhappy, you should be more careful what you say, because you are in a bad mood and people ask you, "You are bored, go away." Inadvertently, you offended someone. Therefore, people should be very careful what they say.
Be careful when you are alone. When a person is in a place, he should be careful in his actions, words and deeds. You can't say no one knows, it doesn't matter what I do. You can't do this. You should pay great attention to this. Be very careful when you are alone and practice frequently.
"Watch your mind carefully." You should observe your mind at all times and keep a clear head in every move. Be very careful.
You can achieve these three precepts, your practice will make progress, and there will be many good deeds, so you should pay attention to these aspects and cultivate yin virtue.
Faxin and Fu Bao
If we make any mistakes, we should confess them at once, not later. This is the best. Because it will grow. If you don't repent tonight, your sin will be doubled tomorrow. It seems that this mosquito bit me and I killed it. This sin is very small. I will repent immediately and be clean. If you don't repent, you will feel guilty twice the next day, four times the third day, sixteen times the fourth day, and half a month later 13684 times. This crime is similar to killing a person. Do you think there is nothing wrong with you? If you are wrong, don't regret it right away. If you have any questions, everyone should pay attention. Therefore, I advocate that everyone practice at any time and observe their intentions at any time.
To practice any Buddhism, we should pay attention to three aspects. It is good to practice any Buddhism. One is to make progress, the other is to practice, and the third is to return to the right direction. All three aspects are necessary.
Self-motivated is very important. The same is the chanting of the Heart Sutra, "Guanyin Bodhisattva ..." Everyone will recite it, but the heart is in harmony and the merits are far from perfect.
There is a person who recites the sutra with bodhicitta, and I send bodhicitta to all sentient beings: "I send bodhicitta, hoping I can become a Buddha as soon as possible." Only when I become a Buddha can I really have the ability to help all sentient beings like my mother, so I want to become a Buddha, so now I want to read the Heart Sutra to increase my wisdom and let me get rid of it quickly and become a Buddha as soon as possible. "It's short to recite the Heart Sutra, but it's of great merit, and it can be food for you to practice bodhisattva on the ground.
The second man, with a small mind, did not show bodhicitta, but he said, "I think the six divisions in the wheel of karma are too painful, so I want to get rid of it and surpass the six divisions in the wheel of karma." In the future, I can go to the western paradise. " This kind of heart is for liberation, and it will be your food for liberation. It is possible. This is the sergeant's way of Bodhi Road.
Another man, almost there, said, "I have a heavy karma." I think I want to get rid of it, but I still can't. This is very difficult. Take your time. " I hope I can get a human body in my next life, or go to heaven, at least not in the middle of the three evils. "This is a corporal's way, a completely corporal's way, at least the second person can continue to smell the Buddha's practice, so that's good.
All three are Buddhism.
But another fourth person's heart is different. He said to himself, "I'll just read the Heart Sutra once. I hope business will be better today." If you only use this kind of heart and don't keep it with bodhicitta, you will only get the result of this world. It's secular law, not Buddhism. On the surface, you read the Heart Sutra once, but in fact, you are practicing secular law, not Buddhism.
So one founder said that all saints are practicing, and ordinary people and saints are practicing. Ordinary people practice greed and engage in reincarnation; Cultivating compassion and wisdom is liberation. Ordinary people are building hell, hungry ghosts and animals. You are just greedy for what I have got in my life. I will be greedy for the heart sutra Even if you get it in your life, what will you do? You take this greed, greed is the cause, and fruit is a hungry ghost. So everyone must pay attention to it. Self-motivation is very important, and cleanliness is a must. We said at the beginning that the root of a tree is poisonous, and so are the flowers and fruits. Therefore, I hope that everyone will reverse themselves from the beginning, correct their own motives, have the motivation, and then practice. Don't pick up a book and rush to read it. After that, I can't count it.
So some people say, "I have read the classics of pharmacologists once, and I hope I can be beautiful in this life." I don't want to dress up or make up. " Actually, what are you dressed like this for? No matter how you dress up, spend five or six hours dressing up every day. No matter how you dress up, everyone is just looking at the surface! This is a mobile toilet. Why are you greedy? That's strange. What are you greedy for? Are you greedy for toilets? So you can squat in the toilet for a long time and sit in the toilet without coming out. In fact, we won't be greedy after we really understand it, so I hope we can grow up in wisdom.
Practice blessing
In the Ming dynasty, there was a general with troops who was a disciple of the Buddha. It was good to recite the Diamond Sutra every day. After a war, a dead soldier gave him a dream, hoping to help him read the Diamond Sutra once and make him cross over.
He said, "Good."
When I woke up the next day, I immediately got up and helped the soldiers read the Diamond Sutra. Halfway through the reading, his wife brought him a cup of tea. He didn't want to drink tea, just wanted to concentrate on chanting, so he shook his hand and chanted, thinking, "No, no".
Then in the evening, the soldier gave him a dream: "My Lord, please have mercy. You only recited half the scriptures for me today. "
He said, "No, I've finished reciting it for you."
The soldier said, "No. There is an idea among you that' don't', so the second half of the sentence is gone. "
Therefore, it is very important to concentrate, not separate, uninterrupted and not mixed.
For example, I recited the Tibetan scriptures to the seventh grade, which was almost finished. The phone is ringing. I have to listen. What should I do? You can also listen to this product immediately after you recite it. After listening, you can start reading from the seventh article, which is better, and it is best to concentrate. Practice in the middle, without interruption.
Return and blessing
Finally, back to Bodhi, back to Buddhism, back to all sentient beings, back to the western paradise where all sentient beings and I can go. You can't give it back to yourself. The Tibetan Scripture says that if you only give back to yourself and your relatives, you will get a million dollars in return, and you will get a lot of blessings, but it is difficult for you to get endless blessings, so you should give back as usual.
These three are very important. Therefore, I hope that everyone will do their best and go forward bravely; Really practice in the middle, chanting Buddha; Finally came back; We should attach importance to all three. In this way, you have finished your exercise.
But we often recite the scriptures and Buddha, and our hearts are not very broad. Daydreaming while reading, and going back to myself and my son and daughter when I come back, whatever, it's very small. However, if you hate yourself for doing bad things, your three will be perfect, and your progress, your positive behavior and your conclusion will be perfect.
For example, I think of someone who is not good to me. That man is very bad, a real bad guy, and then I thought, "How should I scold him next time I meet him?" I thought about it for a long time in advance.
Next time I really meet him, I'll scold him for an hour, the worst scolding. I finally scolded and went back. I was very happy. My return was complete. I was really happy today. I scolded him without saying a word. This is very happy, you have done all three. Actually, you are wrong. You're in deep. As a disciple of the Buddha, we must attach importance to it and not reverse it. If you practice the world law perfectly, your practice will be incomplete and it will be difficult to make progress.
So I hope all three are perfect. In this way, Xiu De.

Nowadays, many people don't know what is right and see what is right, and none of our Buddhist disciples know what is right and see what is right. I have met some old people who don't know what is right and what is right. They are reading Monkey King once a day. What is the Sun Sutra? Then you are wrong. The books I read are Travels in Paradise, Travels in Hell and Travels on Earth, all of which are not Buddhist scriptures. On the surface, some of them study Buddhism. In fact, where did he go? Dongguan has a consistent way. They call themselves Heaven. These are not Buddhism, so we can't follow them. If you follow them, you will become a heresy, not a real Buddhism.
Everyone worships Maitreya. He said, "Sakyamuni Buddha has retired, and now it is Maitreya Buddha, Maitreya Buddha." In fact, where did Sakyamuni Buddha retire? Nonsense. He also worships Guanyin Bodhisattva and Jigong, but he doesn't know what is right and what is right.
What's more, some teachers pay ten dollars to help you order a little, and they also swear that they can't tell their husbands or children, and if they do, they will thunder.
How can you make such a poisonous oath by learning Buddha? ! You must have gone astray, and you can't go astray. If you go wrong, it's hard to turn back. The printed scriptures must be real Buddhist scriptures, and it is not allowed to print some messy non-Buddhist scriptures. Do you think you have advantages? Actually, it's not.
Please pay attention to one more thing. In Dongguan, I saw a fellow practitioner recite a mantra of the Eight Yang Gods of Heaven and Earth, which was not a real Buddhist sutra. Some people say that this book is a sequel to Zheng Da Zang. Understand? "The Continuation of Tazheng Zang" compiled by the Japanese is not true Buddhism, not what the Buddha said. So I hope everyone knows that this is not a real Buddhist scripture.
I used to see some people in Zhaoqing bring some scriptures from Hong Kong and read a Tibetan sutra, which is not our Tibetan sutra, but the Tibetan Bodhisattva's Sutra to prolong life. This book has been appraised by Master Hongyi, and it was forged by the Japanese. So we must learn the magic weapon of orthodoxy. So tonight we had a brief talk: one life, two fortunes, three feng shui, four Xiu De and five books. If you understand all these aspects, you will do things smoothly, and the blessings will follow the masses. In this way, you can plant a kind of karma for blessing and get blessings.
