1. First, close the cold water inlet pipe, and then remove the original valve.
2. Prepare the new toilet valve, fix the T-joint with rubber gasket and screws, and add a plastic joint at one end.
3. After the new toilet valve is finished, it needs to be screwed to the water tank in the bathroom. Make sure that the thread of the connector matches the screw in the bathroom, otherwise you need to buy a matching connector.
Now, connect the other end of the T-joint to the cold water pipe on the wall. This can be achieved by retightening the existing pipe joint or using a new pipe joint. Please note that after installation, the position of the valve should be in the center between the toilet tank and the cold water pipe.
5. After installation, tighten all joints and gently push the valve by hand to see if there is any leakage. If there is any leakage, please re-tighten the valve until the leakage disappears.
6. Finally, turn on the faucet and let the water flow into the toilet tank. At this time, you can open the valve and check whether there is water leakage.
These are the installation steps of the toilet valve. It should be noted that in the installation process, attention should be paid to reducing the number of joints as much as possible to prevent the pipeline from clinging to the wall and causing unstable connection. Also check whether the surface and interface of the valve are worn or cracked, and whether the pipeline interface is fastened to ensure smooth water flow and normal operation of the valve in future use.
