Beautiful mountains and rivers, stones are like jade. " Lingbi stone was developed very early. As early as Gong Yu in Shangshu, there was a record that Xuzhou went to work "floating on the shore". Lingbi stone has attracted worldwide attention and has a history of three or four thousand years. Lingbi stone is not only developed early, but also enjoys a long-standing reputation, and has always occupied a prominent position in the stone supply family. There are 1 16 kinds of stone products in Yunlin stone spectrum, and lingbi stone ranks first. Amin writer Wen Zhenheng wrote in "Long History": "Stone is the top, stone is the bottom". Emperor Qianlong once praised it as "the first stone in the world".
Lingbi stone is delicate and firm as jade. After being brushed, it has a long aftertaste and has the reputation of "Yusheng". Therefore, the ancients also called Lingbi Stone "Eight-tone Stone". Among the various stones produced by Lingbi, the earliest known stone is the Qing stone named "Bayin Stone", and Gong Yu has a record of "floating green on the shore", which is the first choice material for Qing, an ancient stone musical instrument in China. At present, the arrangements preserved in the Forbidden City and Confucius Temple are all made by Lingbi.

In the Ming Dynasty, Wang Shouqian's Textual Research on Lingbi Stone said: "In the sea (Stone Town), in the east (Its Prosperity), in the Liulangju of Zhu Lan (Fan Zhi), in the spoon garden of Miyou Stone (Wanzhong), Wang Baizhuo (Wandeng).
