Flatten feet refers to the reduction or disappearance of the longitudinal arch of the foot, with valgus deformity. When standing, the arch of the foot collapses, and the inner edge is close to the ground. When measured, the angle of the vertical arch and transverse arch of the foot is larger than that of normal people. Any footprint that exceeds the standard line (the line connecting the heel to the midpoint of the third toe) is considered flat foot. Its incidence rate accounts for 7.1% of the population.
Flat feet should be treated as follows:
1. You should start to exercise foot muscles in childhood, walk barefoot on the beach or grass, flex your toes, and walk with the outer edge of the sole of the foot touching the ground. , which is beneficial to the exercise of the muscles and ligaments on the outside of the foot.
2. Soak your feet in hot water to promote blood circulation in your feet, and grab round marbles with your toes to exercise your foot muscles.
3. Avoid standing or bearing weight for too long, and change positions frequently when standing.
4. Wear orthopedic shoes. The inner half of the sole is 2 to 3 centimeters thicker than the outer sole. The inner half of the heel is extended to the center of the foot and is 0.5 centimeters thicker than the outer sole. This allows the weight-bearing line to move from the inside of the foot. The edge moves outward.
5. Infants whose Achilles tendon is too tight can be corrected by manual methods. After the child lies on his back, straighten the knee joint, gradually turn the foot inward and extend the back to relax the Achilles tendon, 2 times each time ̄3 minutes, 1 ̄2 times a day.
