Bazi Bridge is located in the center of the old city, on the east side of Sipailou, that is, the intersection of Dongcheng Inner Street and Beicheng Inner Street. It is a single-hole granite stone bridge across the Beishi River flowing from north to south. According to the Records of Chengfeng Rebuilding Xinghua County, "A man went to Japan, and the water came from the east and then went north. The two bridges, Zhonghe and Yongfu, span it and are staggered like a figure-eight, which is called a figure-eight bridge. " According to relevant historical records, the splayed bridge was built in the second year of Chenghua in Ming Dynasty (1466), with a history of nearly 540 years. Relying on the historical origin of the "ancient eight-character bridge", the cultural square of the eight-character bridge is an open sector with a rather atmospheric pattern. The overall layout of the square is roughly divided into three parts: to the east is the impression "splayed bridge". Two ancient bridges made of masonry, one is called "Deng Ying Bridge" and the other is called "Zhonghe Bridge". The middle part is a map of xinghua city. In the form of bas-relief, the whole square is carved with the map of Xinghua ancient city, which reproduces the historical features of the four towers, suspension bridges and moats of Xinghua ancient city. Among them, there is a unique Xinghua style lotus pond fountain, in which there are a group of wooden boats and children's water sculptures. A sunken Little Square is designed at the front end of the middle section of the square to facilitate citizens to carry out cultural and fitness activities. There are four arches in the west. According to the raw material structure of Sipailou, the Sipailou located in the compound of Wenbo Center will be relocated and transformed into a square. The four pillars of Sipailou are granite produced in Fujian, and the removed plaque is still in use.
