My answer: "It's true". Why is it true? If you understand the truth of these principles, you will know whether they are true or not. Is there any life? have! Where does fate come from? Destiny is formed by the good and evil deeds you have done in your past lives. If you have done many good deeds in your past life, your life will be good; if you have done many evil deeds, your life will be bad. Therefore, your destiny is not destined by others. It has nothing to do with heaven and earth, ghosts and gods, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, or God. Your destiny is your own creation and has nothing to do with others. The Buddha made it very clear in the scriptures that the so-called "self-made and self-received" is what it means.
So for a person who truly understands this principle, no matter how much suffering he encounters, he will not complain about others. Why? How can you blame others for your own suffering? Even if he does good deeds, does good deeds throughout his life, is loyal to the country, and serves the people enthusiastically, but the final result is not good or even suffers a great disaster, he will not blame others. Why? What you receive in this life was created in the previous life, and you should accept it happily without complaining about heaven or others. What you create in this life will bear fruit and be received in the next life. Cause and effect last for three lives, not one life. If you do something in this life, you will receive it in the next life. This is called present retribution. If you do something in this life, you will be repaid in the next life. Buddhism talks about rebirth. If you do something in this life, you will be repaid in the third life or later. This is called future retribution. The time of future retribution is sometimes very long. long. This makes sense. Where is there no destiny? Therefore, Buddhism admits that every living being and everyone has a destiny, but Buddhism does not talk about fate, which means that destiny can be changed at any time.
How to change? Thoughts of good and evil. If you become enlightened, you will definitely be able to stop evil and practice good, and you will change your destiny for the better. If you are not aware and still deliberately do things that harm others and benefit yourself every day and create all kinds of sins, then your retribution will become worse and worse, and your destiny will become worse, so destiny has variables. Most people can tell fortunes and read fortunes very accurately. What is the reason? Although there are changes every day, the changes are not large and the deviation from his standard is not large, so it is quite accurate. If he has great virtues and great evils, and the ups and downs are too great, it is not allowed. If you all pay close attention and observe this, you will be able to realize that you also know how to change your own destiny. Changing your destiny is not difficult!
So when it comes to Feng Shui? There is Feng Shui. What is Feng Shui? When modern people mention these two words, they think they are mysterious. In fact, these two words are very common. In modern terms, these two words refer to the living environment. The living environment is related to one's cultivation and temperament. Some people like mountains, some people like water, different, different! For people who like water, if you ask them to live in the mountains, their feng shui will be bad and they won't like it. For people who like mountains, if you ask them to live by the water, the feng shui will be bad. So you need to understand, what is good Feng Shui? You are very satisfied with the environment you live in and live happily. This place has good Feng Shui for you. Don't be deceived, and don't say: "I'm not satisfied living here, many things are not going well", that is your karma. Does it have anything to do with the living environment? There is a slight relationship, but not much. Therefore, living in these environments often causes one to feel annoyed and dissatisfied. Even if it is a room, some people decorate the room very elegantly, and the room feels comfortable when you enter it; some people have a messy room, and you feel unhappy when you enter it. This is all called Feng Shui. Therefore, all of this can be changed. You don’t have to ask others to change it. Please hire a geographer to change it. That person is very pitiful. Why? His body and life are at the mercy of others and he cannot make the decision himself. How pitiful is this!
Really smart people are happy when they make their own decisions and are not manipulated by others. Usually when we eat together (when we treat guests), I hate it when someone brings food to me. Why? You give me food to eat, and I am at your mercy. I will eat whatever you tell me to eat. I cannot do as I like. Therefore, I often advise people, "Don't give it to me, I am not at your mercy or under your control." The words are very unpleasant, but then they wake up and understand. I like to eat what I like to eat, how free and comfortable it is! We should not let others dictate our living environment. We can choose and consider it ourselves. This is how we truly understand what Feng Shui is.
Someone asked: "Since ancient times, many emperors and nobles of the past dynasties did not seem to get the benefits of Feng Shui." In fact, he got the benefits of Feng Shui at that time. Feng Shui will change, and Feng Shui will change with people. , not many people understand this truth. For example, person A lives in this place, the feng shui is very good, his life goes smoothly, nothing goes wrong, his family is happy, and his career goes smoothly. B may not come to live in this place. Even if he lives in this place, he will encounter many disasters. What is the reason? His character is different. As we Chinese say: "Eight characters are different"! Therefore, people who read Feng Shui also have a prevarication saying: "Blessed land and blessed people live in it." He shows you good Feng Shui. If you live there in the future and you are unlucky and unsatisfied, he will say, "It's not my responsibility. This is a blessed land. You are not blessed." He will block you with just one sentence. No matter where I live, the feng shui will change with me. Buddhists say: "The environment changes with the heart." This is the truth. If your heart is kind and your heart is good, if you live in a place with a bad environment, it will become better. , your heart is not good, your behavior is not good, it is a good Feng Shui. Wherever you live, it will become bad or bad. This is what the Buddhists say, "the environment changes with the heart." So everyone understands this truth and the truth. The most important thing is to have good intentions, do good deeds, and be a good person. No matter where you live, you will always be unlucky.
The last question: "Is human destiny destined by nature?"
This has been discussed just now. People do have a destiny, their families have their own destiny, their countries have their national destiny, and the whole world has their own destiny. Another kind of prophecy is seen from the state of concentration. This is very accurate. For example, I recently heard that a book called "The Bible Code" was published in the West, which predicts the modern times. He wrote This book was written three thousand years ago. Even the dates of the Persian Gulf War in modern times are so clearly annotated. Many things that are happening now are all mentioned in it. Let’s look at this. It belongs to the state of actuality. It is Ding Gong, which is in meditation. So Westerners are very surprised by this book. I saw this book is very common. They think it is God's masterpiece. We know that we don't need God. It is enough to have the skill of the first jhana. If he has the concentration of the first jhana, he will be able to clearly see things that have happened for thousands of years. Why? Buddhism has said: "Ten generations past and present, we should never leave our thoughts." This sentence was said by the Buddha three thousand years ago. In modern times, Einstein said: "The past, present, and future exist at the same time." Simultaneous existence has the same meaning as what is said in Buddhism: "Ten generations, ancient and present, without leaving the present moment." Because the future exists at the same time, when you enter concentration and this limit is broken, you can see the future. So you can see things in the next few thousand years clearly and clearly. This is the truth. Therefore, this is the skill of meditation. It does not necessarily talk about God. Anyone who has the skill of concentration will know it very clearly. He will understand everything. It's clear.
This is very common for people who study Buddhism. Westerners think this is very remarkable, but he also makes a lot of sense. He said: "Good and evil are variables." It makes sense. What power does this variable rely on to resolve disasters and postpone crises? It depends on everyone’s awareness. If only one tenth of the people in this world could be enlightened, the problem would be solved and postponed. Those who are not enlightened have the light of enlightened people, so "one person is blessed, and the whole house is connected" is the truth, and we have taken his light.
