There are many ways to cut rectangular paper into a circle. Here are two methods.
The first method is relatively simple, that is, find the center of the garden on this rectangular piece of paper, make a garden on the rectangular piece of paper with garden rules or straight lines, and then cut it along the garden line with scissors, thus cutting out the shape of the garden.
The other is to fold in half, find the midpoint, take the midpoint as the center, fold it into a polygon, then cut it into an arc with scissors and open the paper to form a circle.
Circular paper cutting
1. Select a square colored paper and fold it diagonally.
2. Divide the bottom edge into three equal parts, 60 degrees each.
3. Fold the right corner to the left to coincide with the dotted line corresponding to the left corner of 60 degrees.
4. Similarly, the left corner is also folded to the right, aligned with the right side of the triangle just folded.
5. Divide the folded figure into three parts, and fold the right third forward and left.
6. In the same way, the left third is folded back to the right, as shown below. At this point, the folding part is completed, which is equivalent to dividing a piece of paper into nine equal parts. This folding method needs to be remembered, learned and used next time.
7. Draw a window pattern on the folded colored paper. This model is very simple, mainly based on curves.
8. Cut along the pattern, just a few times. I carved two circular patterns in the middle with a small meat cleaver. Because the folded paper is thick, it is difficult to cut it with scissors.
9. After unfolding, there is a group flower pattern, and nine flowers are arranged in turn around the center of the circle, and the beauty of the curve is unobstructed.
