On August 3rd, 1937, the 87th Division, one of the most elite troops of the Kuomintang, joined forces with the Japanese at the "Baziqiao" at the junction of Hongkou and Zhabei in Shanghai. The Japanese army then fired at our defenders first, and our army fought back. At this point, the Battle of Songhu started in an all-round way. In the Battle of Songhu, the Kuomintang assembled 700,000 troops back and forth to fight to the death with the Japanese army, and the Japanese army also assembled 300,000 troops to attack Shanghai. In the following three months, a series of fierce battles broke out between Chinese and Japanese troops. However, in the end, nearly 300,000 Japanese troops were killed or injured and retreated westward, while the Japanese army lost 30,000 to 40,000 people and occupied Shanghai.
Among the 700,000 defenders in China, soldiers from all provinces risked their lives to go to the national disaster, but most of their names are unknown, even their ranks, and they don't know which province they are from. China soldiers, who only know their common name, went to the national disaster together.
This picture is the number of the armies of the provinces in the Battle of Songhu, and the number of each army represents countless fresh lives.
In the Battle of Shanghai and Shanghai, the elite armored soldiers met Gui Jun, and they took out mauser guns together.
