Sometimes there are some inexplicable noises when the car is driving, which is the problem of abnormal noise of the car that everyone will inevitably encounter. But these abnormal noises can't be ignored, because in many cases, they are often caused by abnormal movement, wear and aging of running parts. If it is not detected and repaired in time, it will affect driving mood and hide driving safety.
1. Abnormal noise of brake disc
When the vehicle is driving at a low speed on a flat road, it will make an intermittent and irregular "quack" sound at the axle, which will increase slightly when the vehicle speed increases, but will not change when going uphill, downhill and turning. When driving on uneven roads, the noise is aggravated, and the noise of stepping on the brake pedal with your feet is reduced or disappeared. When parking, you will hear abnormal noise when turning the wheel back and forth. This is because the brake shoe support plate, damping spring plate or guide plate of the disc brake is damaged, deformed and falls off, which makes the gap between the brake shoe and the caliper support frame increase, and they collide with each other to make a sound. You can repair deformed parts and replace dropped parts at the repair station.
2. Abnormal steering of steering wheel
When the steering wheel turns left and right, you will find abnormal noise. When the steering wheel turns left and right, it can basically be judged that the steering gear is abnormal. If the steering wheel turns left and right, it is difficult to tell the source of the abnormal noise. We went to the 4S store to check, and the most common answer was the friction of the rubber sleeve of the steering rod ball head.
3. Abnormal body sound
During driving, especially when suddenly accelerating or braking, some parts of the car will make some abnormal noises. Although it does not affect driving safety, it always makes people feel uncomfortable and worry about whether there is a real fault. Abnormal sound of the car body is usually caused by the lack of rigidity of the car body, which leads to the deformation of the car during driving, friction or shaking between the door and the frame, or friction between the steel plates due to local desoldering. This is mainly caused by the quality of the car, and there is basically no solution. However, some parts of the body that are not fixed correctly may also produce abnormal sound, which can be solved by tightening screws or replacing adhesive tape.
4. Abnormal sound of side door glass
The side door glass of the driver and co-pilot rattles from time to time, which may be that the door lock is loose. If you want to open the door, there is a U-clip on the car body. Loosen the one connected to the door with a ring wrench and push it in a little bit, not too close, otherwise it will be difficult to close the door, just 0.5 cm-1 cm.
5. The cable in the door makes abnormal sound.
The cable in the door touches the door panel and makes an abnormal noise. When the cable in the door touches the door panel, the sound is still obvious. What we have to do is to take apart the interior trim panel of the car door first, and then wrap the inner cable of the car door with a small sponge, so that there will be no noise, which is one of the reasons for the abnormal sound of the car.
6. Abnormal sound of sunroof slide rail
Some car owners rarely use the skylight of their cars. Once used, the skylight will squeak. Experts say that the skylight of a car is a situation in which many car owners often "only know how to use it, but don't know how to maintain it". Under normal circumstances, the skylight should be lubricated at least once every two or three months. Otherwise, it will make abnormal noise, move slowly, and even burn out the motor. The owner can wipe the track of the slide rail with cotton cloth and gauze. After wiping, apply a small amount of grease to the slide rail. Generally speaking, 4S professional maintenance uses Tiger Head Oil or Krupp's automobile sunroof grease. Don't use vaseline or engine oil, they will pollute the interior and give off a harmful smell.
7. Abnormal transmission noise
If there is a "rustling" sound inside the gearbox when driving, but it does not appear after stepping on the clutch or throttle, there will be a whistle when shifting gears. If the noise source encountered during driving is the gearbox, it may be caused by the wear of gearbox bearings or gears and bearing spots. The abnormal sound of gearbox during gear shifting may be caused by metal powder in gearbox oil, indicating that the brake band clutch and other parts in gearbox are excessively worn.
There are many transmission parts, and the causes of noise are complicated. If a gear makes a sound, it must be related to the parts that affect the gear transmission. If all the gears are ringing, it is usually that the normally meshed gear shaft is out of order, or the gearbox is short of oil. Whether it is related to specific actions, such as upshifting, downshifting, starting, sudden acceleration, sudden deceleration, turning, etc. It is an effective means to judge abnormal noise, in which changing speed and direction is particularly important for judging rear axle failure.
8. Abnormal tire noise
Generally, the abnormal noise caused by tires is mostly tire noise, and the noise generated will also produce various noises with different intensities according to the driving speed, tire model, tire pressure, road conditions and other factors. When there is a low "cracking sound", it is mostly tire tread deformation, bulging, serious wear or insufficient air pressure, such as "clicking" sound, which may be that the tread is mixed with pebbles or nails. If the wheel parts make noise of metal collision and friction during driving, it is likely that the shock absorber and bearing are damaged. When encountering these problems, car owners should pay attention, even if it is just a nail, it is very dangerous.
9. Abnormal sound of wiper
The abnormal sound of the wiper blade is mainly due to the dry friction when the wiper blade is not used for a long time. Even after spraying glass water, the abnormal sound of the wiper blade has not been alleviated. The phenomenon is that the wiper is fan-shaped, which stops regularly and makes abnormal noise when used.
The solution is also simple. Replace the wiper blade and add glass water. Of course, the above two methods are the most direct and effective. In fact, the wiper blade is not clean or makes abnormal noise, which is mainly caused by the aging of the wiper blade or the uneven wiper blade. Car owners can try to add a glass of water first. If not, polish it and try again. If not, only the wiper blade can be replaced!
