Health Weekly

As the saying goes, "Summer heat is in three volts", and summer heat is in three volts, which is also the hottest stage of the year. The summer heat is divided into three stages: "one stage is that rotten grass turns into fireflies;" Second, wait for the soil to moisten and cool off the heat; It will rain three times. " Summer is hot, and the hot climate is the easiest to hurt body fluids, consume gas and make people impetuous. At this time, the yang heat drops and the water vapor rises, so in this season, there are more people who feel wet evil. Therefore, the most important content of TCM health care in summer solar terms is to clear away heat and relieve summer heat, clear the heart and nourish the heart, strengthen the spleen and eliminate dampness.

First, summer common sense

Summer solar terms, the weather is sultry and humid, the human body feels sultry, but even if you sweat, you can't reduce your fever, which is easy to get heatstroke. When you go out in hot weather, you must do a good job of heatstroke prevention and cooling. We should try our best to avoid outdoor exercise when the sun is strongest, avoid strenuous exercise, replenish water and salt in time, and carry some summer drugs such as Ren Dan and Shidishui with us.

Second, how to "nourish the heart"

In summer, the climate is hot and the sun is the strongest between heaven and earth. At this time, the sun is reflected in the sky, and the sun is emitted in the human body, and qi and blood are active. Chinese medicine believes that "the heart governs the midsummer", that is, the heart, one of the five internal organs of the human body, corresponds to summer, and the heart should be in midsummer, and the summer is flat. 1 Mind should be quiet: it is hot in summer, and it is easy to be agitated and anxious. At this time, peace of mind is appropriate. As the saying goes, "peace of mind is naturally cool." In order to avoid bad stimulation, "meditation" can be used to promote calm and relaxation. 2 the heart should be clear: the so-called "clear" means clearing the heart and reducing the fire. You can choose some common medicines and foods with the same origin, such as chrysanthemum, lotus leaf, honeysuckle, Ophiopogon japonicus, lotus seeds, poria cocos, lily, watermelon, wax gourd and bitter gourd. 3 nourishing the heart: live regularly and ensure adequate sleep. Lack of sleep is prone to anxiety, irritability and irritability, and sleep is closely related to mood and immunity. Lack of sleep, poor resistance and easy to catch a cold. Ensure 6-8 hours of sleep every day, sleep at noon, sleep at noon to nourish yin, sleep at noon to subdue yang, and sleep to "nourish" the heart.

Third, exercise recuperation.

In summer, exercise should be combined with activities. In the cool morning and evening, you can play Tai Ji Chuan, swim, jog and dance outdoors. Exercise should be moderate. Remember not to be too tired. Avoid exercising in hot sun or high temperature environment. By exercising bones and muscles, the pulse is smooth and the qi and blood are harmonious to adapt to the growth in summer.

Fourth, diet conditioning.

Summer heat is heavier, and extreme heat will lead to low spleen and stomach function. At the same time, due to the sultry weather, people often like to eat cold drinks to cool off the heat, which will induce stomach pains, diarrhea and other spleen and stomach diseases. Therefore, the diet conditioning of summer heat should not only clear away heat and relieve summer heat, but also strengthen the spleen and eliminate dampness. However, while clearing away heat and relieving summer heat, we should not overeat and catch cold, otherwise it will hurt the spleen and dampness, and in severe cases it will be arrested by yang deficiency and cold evil.

Five, winter disease in summer.

Some diseases that recur or worsen in winter are regarded by Chinese medicine as the pathogenic factors lurking in the human body, which will be induced when exposed to exogenous factors (especially cold), and its pathogenic factors (called perennial roots in Chinese medicine) are difficult to adhere to. Summer solar term is the hottest solar term in a year. At this time, we can take advantage of the abundant yang in the body, and take Chinese medicine orally or choose acupoint application when the skin is slack, which can get twice the result with half the effort for the treatment and prevention of diseases. Chronic respiratory diseases, repeated colds, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, rheumatoid arthritis, digestive system diseases and other stable patients can be treated in winter and summer.
