On the Drama of Killing with a Knife

I. Act I

1. Start: The incident was caused by Vincent exchanging a black briefcase with a man wearing sunglasses in the station parking lot.

Character introduction: Vincent Actor: Tom Cruise's ruthless professional killer, this time employed by a notorious transnational drug trafficking group, he came to Los Angeles alone and killed five insiders who could provide evidence for drug trafficking group prosecution. Vincent came over after the female prosecutor got off the bus. At that time, he had just killed his first insider and was planning to go to his next destination. For convenience, he spent a lot of money on Max's car, and finally missed the plot of the mission because of mistakes. The main characters have both similarities and opposites. Commonality is an emotion gradually established by two people in constant getting along. One worked hard in the city 12 years, and the other worked as a killer all the year round. They are all lonely and eager for nirvana, although there is an insurmountable gap between them. In the process of the story, the capture of the main characters by the surrounding characters is another story line. Finally, through the minor character Anne, the contradiction between the two main characters is pushed to a climax.

Jump from the first act to the second act (plot point 1): Vincent kills the second person on the list and falls on Max's car. Max discovers Vincent's true colors.

Act two, act two

1. confrontation

When Max discovered Vincent's true colors, he tried to refuse to continue to be Vincent's driver and tried to escape. After being tied, I asked for help from passers-by, only to be robbed. Vincent came to shoot and brutally killed the robber, but Max had no choice but to continue to be a driver.

When they went to the jazz concert hall, Max failed to dissuade them. Vincent succeeded in killing the third person, and the contradiction between them was further strengthened.

They went to the hospital to visit Max's mother. In Vincent's conversation with his mother, they knew Max's white lies to his mother. During the conversation, Max snatched the file package containing the murder list and left it in the middle of the road, and the contradiction between them further intensified.

(4) Vincent forced Max to go to the nightclub to get the list. After a series of psychological construction, Max broke through the inner confrontation and successfully got the list.

After Vincent killed the fourth man, he took Max away. They talked about the ideal and reality of life in the rough car. Vincent satirized Max's weakness, and Max's emotions broke out, he soared on the highway and eventually overturned.

The jump from the second act to the third act (plot point 2): After the rollover, the traffic police are alarmed and Vincent flees quickly. Max slowly and accidentally crawled out of the computer list in the car and found that the last person was actually Anne in his mind. He subdued the policeman with his backhand and handcuffed him to the side of the car to find Annie. The end of the third act: In the story of Max's rescue of Anne, the contradiction between the two reached a climax. After a series of struggles, Vincent finally died at Max's hands.
