Who can tell me about the attack in Dream of Red Mansions and what to say about her?

(1) Xiren’s appearance and appearance

Xiren’s appearance can be said to be a false appearance, because it was mentioned for the first time that she had a name, a description and a dialogue, but There is no concrete action and therefore no substance. The second time there were names and small actions but no positive description. The third chapter contains the following paragraph:

Baoyu's wet nurse, Aunt Li, and the eldest maid, who called the attacker by name, accompanied him on the big bed outside. It turns out that this attacker is also Jia Mu's maid, whose real name is Pearl. Because Jia Mu doted on Baoyu, she was afraid that Baoyu's maidservant would not be able to do her best to be loyal. She was so happy that she had a pure heart and was willing to fulfill her duties, so she married Baoyu. Baoyu knew that his real surname was Hua, and he had seen the line "flower energy attacks people" in an old poem, so he returned to Jia Mu of the Ming Dynasty and changed his name to Xiren. This Xiren is also a bit crazy. When he was serving Jia Mu, he only had Jia Mu in his heart. Now that he has Baoyu, he only has Baoyu in his heart. Just because Baoyu has a eccentric temperament, he doesn't listen to his advice every time, and he feels really depressed.

That night, Xiren explained to Daiyu that Baoyu was a human being and that there was no need to be sad because of the jade he had just smashed: "Girl, please stop being like this. I'm afraid there will be weirder jokes than this in the future. If he is like this "Xing Zhi, I'm afraid you won't be sad anymore." This long paragraph introduces Xi Ren's origins, the process of changing his name, and his character. It also contains dialogue. It is quite detailed, but it still does not meet our requirements, because it does not meet our requirements. It was too abstract and did not create a deep impression. If it was a little bit out of the show, it would be no problem to change it to another maid.

The second time was the fifth chapter. Baoyu went to Qin Keqing's bedroom to take a nap, "leaving only the four maids Xiren, Meiren, Qingwen and Sheyue as companions." Baoyu saw this in his dream. When Yaksha Haigui dragged him down, he shouted uncontrollably, which frightened Xiren's maids and rushed up to hug him, shouting: "Don't be afraid, Baoyu, we are here!" This section contains Xiren's name and a little bit of movement. However, there were four people present at the scene, and Xiren was the leader of the four due to his seniority, so he still showed up falsely.

The attacker officially appears in the sixth chapter: "Jia Baoyu's first trial of cloud and rain". First, when Baoyu woke up from his nap, Xiren found that his underwear was wet, and asked Baoyu what was wrong. Baoyu twisted his hand, and Xiren was half aware and did not dare to ask again. After dinner, Xiren and Baoyu changed into their middle clothes.

Baoyu shyly begged: "Good sister, please don't tell anyone." Xiren also smiled shyly and asked, "What story did you dream about? Is it the dirty things flowing out from there?" Baoyu also smiled shyly and asked. He said, "It's hard to describe in one sentence." Then he told Xi Ren in detail what happened in the dream, and then talked about the feelings of clouds and rain that the police fantasy taught him. Xi Ren covered his face in shame and smiled. Baoyu also likes Xiren's tenderness and beauty, so he forces Xiren to lead Yunyu as taught by the policeman. Xiren always knew that Jia's mother had given him to Baoyu, so this was not the case, so he and Baoyu secretly tried it out, but luckily no one saw him. From then on, Baoyu looked at Xiren even more differently than others, and Xiren treated Baoyu even more wholeheartedly. This is the real appearance that readers will never forget. The description of this paragraph is just right, it is the behavior of two innocent children who have a little knowledge of human affairs and tasted the forbidden fruit for the first time. Regarding this aspect of knowledge, boys are more prophetic than girls due to biological reasons. Xiren is two years older than Baoyu, but Baoyu is still the one who takes the initiative. Cheng Gaoben added and changed several words in this paragraph, ruining the entire atmosphere. He also changed Xiren into something terrible, leaving it for discussion elsewhere.

In this long paragraph, there are only four adjectives "feminine and charming". Due to Xiren's importance in Baoyu's heart and her status in Yihongyuan, the author never describes her appearance, dress, and appearance characteristics positively. Readers have to use their imagination to fill in the "blank spaces" of the original work. The reason is very simple. Baoyu and the other maids see her every day. Zhuchai, who often comes to Yihongyuan or lives and walks in Daguanyuan, doesn't think it's strange when he sees her, so he never uses their eyes to see her. It was not until Chapter 19 that Baoyu and Mingyan went to Xiren's home privately and saw her "eyes were reddish and pink and smooth." Zhi Ping had this comment below this sentence:

One of the eight-character figures, the daughter who just shed tears, is easy to describe, and she is in Baoyu's eyes. It wasn't that Baoyu suddenly noticed the attacker, but he felt that she had just cried, so he asked the attacker. The attacker denied it, saying that he "just rubbed his eyes when he was confused", and then covered it up. After reading it, we couldn’t help but sigh that the original work spared ink as much as gold. Then in the twenty-sixth chapter, when Jia Yun entered Yihong Courtyard, the reader got acquainted with Jia Yun, and finally saw Xi Ren’s full appearance and dress through his eyes:

...I saw only A maid brought tea to him. While Jia Yun was talking to Baoyu, her eyes glanced at the maid: she had a slender figure, a long face, and was wearing a silver-red coat, a green satin vest, and a thin pleated skirt of white silk. ——Not someone else, but Xiren.

This is the end of the description of Xiren. Zhang Ailing once said in "Dream of Red Mansions": "When writing about Daiyu, even her appearance is almost pure expression. The only specific thing is the word 'Bomian' which means 'Thin face contains anger'. There is no detail in the whole body, it is just a posture and a voice." Xiren's position in Yihongyuan is so important that the author should focus on describing it, but stop at these three paragraphs and leave no redundant words."

Sometimes, the author will also use sideways to describe it from another angle. The description adds more or less to the whole portrait. Chapter 51: Xiren's mother was seriously ill, and Hua Zifang came and asked to take her back. Mrs. Wang agreed and ordered Sister Feng to consider the matter. Sister Feng then arranged for someone to accompany her home, and ordered the messenger from Zhou Rui's family to tell Xi Ren not to worry about it, to wear clothes of good color, to pack a large bundle of clothes, and to have Sister Feng check it out in person before leaving.

... As expected, Xiren came dressed.

The two girls and Zhou Rui's family were holding hand stoves and clothes bags. Sister Feng saw that the attacker was wearing a few golden hairpins and pearls on his head, which was very gorgeous. She also saw that he was wearing a peach-colored silver rat coat with a hundred seeds carved on it, a green cotton skirt with gold embroidery, and a blue satin chinchilla coat. Sister Feng felt that the gown was too plain and not very hairy, so she gave Xiren her own eight-piece Pegasus gown carved with azure silk. Then he looked at her baggage, which contained only two and a half old cotton-padded jackets and gowns. He ordered Ping'er to give her a jade-colored silk jade-colored jade-colored jade-colored silk jade-colored jade-colored jade-colored silk-covered jade-colored jade-colored jade silk jacket, and a gorilla felt snow jacket. Finally, I told Xiren that if my mother was not getting better, I would notify her immediately so that I could send someone to send me some bedding and make-up. On the contrary, this long paragraph, ostensibly an excerpt, describes Xiren's clothes in detail, making it appear that she is everyone's rich lady. There is this paragraph in the general review at the end of Zhi Ping:

Putting aside the lantern riddles, I introduced Xi Ren, but he did not just portray Xi Ren. The author put a lot of effort into it. If the festival is not celebrated, it will not be the majesty of everyone. If it is a festival, how can the mother start the festival when she is in danger? On Sister Feng's side, the clothes, carriages, horses, servants, houses, bedding and other items were inspected one by one to show that they were dignified and dignified, and after the attack, the beauty was revealed. Zhi Yanzhai was able to see this, and it can be said that he was as meticulous as his hair. At the same time, we can see that the author used the so-called "one blow, two calls" method of Zhi Ping. On the one hand, we have a rare opportunity to appreciate the striking appearance. , on the other hand, you can see the commanding and commanding demeanor of Sister Feng's family.

In fact, the focus of this paragraph seems to be more on Sister Feng, so it is called profile. Xiren is a key figure in Yihongyuan. His status is second to Qingwen in the supplementary volume, but his importance ranks first. The author has to focus on describing her, but it stops at the above four paragraphs. There is no redundant writing. The reader can only follow Her psychology, demeanor, tone, implication and actions to find her full appearance.

(2) Xi Ren’s Biography

The only place in the book where Xi Ren’s true feelings are exposed is in Chapter 19, when Xi Ren goes home to negotiate with his mother and brother, unexpectedly Baoyu rushed to her home privately to visit her. If Xiren is in Yihongyuan, he will be influenced and bound by the concepts of Grand View Garden and Jia family, consciously or unconsciously: master and slave, guest and host, class, family law, etc. Although she had the opportunity to talk to Baoyu privately, it was difficult for her to speak freely without reservation. It turned out that Xiren's mother and brother took Xiren back because their family situation had improved and they discussed redeeming her life. She expressed her unwillingness to go back and cried for a while. Just as Baoyu was rushing there, everyone saw Xiren serving Baoyu with great care: Seeing that there was nothing to eat, they had to pick up a few pine nuts for him to eat; Baoyu's concern for her: Baoyu said: "I'll keep them for you." What a good thing."

; and the deep feelings between the two that cannot be concealed: Xiren took off the jade hanging from the jade necklace and showed it to everyone. The family had already accepted Xiren's categorical reply, but when they saw the situation of the two of them, they understood in their hearts that they no longer wanted to redeem her life. If the location was not at Hua's house, Xiren would not say everything in his heart, nor would he behave so openly. From then on, the relationship between the two became more solid. Of course, Xiren did not reveal his determination to his family in front of Baoyu. Baoyu did not know the cause and effect of Xiren's work, and was just a witness for Xiren to testify. Therefore, Zhi Yanzhai pointed out in the comment quoted above that it was "a supplementary biography of Xiren." On the surface, this long article is just a casual article, but in reality, from the overall layout, it is an important part of the author's careful design to write about the four maids.

Zhi Yanzhai understands this meaning very well and inserts many comments in this article. On the one hand, he points out Xiren’s conduct and character, and on the other hand, he helps readers of this book understand the meaning of the "Supplementary Biography". importance. His praise of Xiren can be compared sharply with the derogatory remarks of other critics. Here are a few paragraphs of text that I will record first, with Zipiao in brackets to summarize the rest:

(1) Hua Zifang, mother and son, were afraid of Baoyu’s coldness in every possible way, so they asked him to get on the kang, and were busy doing other things. They set the fruit table and poured tea. Xiren smiled and said, "You don't have to be busy in vain." (Wonderful. If you don't write that Xiqing is busy, it's just the end of busyness. If you write that Xiren is busy, it will be a small family style.)

(2) ) As he spoke, he took his mattress and spread it on a kang, where Baoyu sat. He stepped on his feet with his foot stove, took out two plum blossom cakes from his purse, opened his hand stove and burned it, still covered it, and put it in Baoyu's arms. Then he poured tea into his own cup and gave it to Baoyu. (Using four "self" characters overlapping each other to describe how close and honorable the two of them were in the past, this time it was revealed in detail. Gai Suri lived in the splendid palace of the Marquis, where he lived in peace, wealth and honor. Baoyu is an intimate, diligent, careful and tactful person, which is what he should do, and there is no need to write it down. Now we can see the friendship between the two of them, and secretly send all the mothers, daughters and brothers in this episode to redeem themselves. Quarrel, etc. Not listed in the article) (Note: The word "bu" in "This is a supplement" is the clue of "Supplement" in the following fat review.)

(3) At least try a little bit. , also came to my house. (Referring to the following "Picked up a few pine nut pulps.") (The proud attitude is the most subtle thing after the dispute between Cai Cai and his mother and brother.)

(4) Quietly, call them What does it mean? (Xiren’s reaction after hearing Baoyu say: “I’ve kept some good things for you.”) (Imagine that the two of them were in love with each other every day [a work called “Love in the Past”].)

(5) "On the other hand, he reached out and picked off the psychic jade from the jade necklace." (All the actions and scenes from "pulling him" to this point indicate that Xi Qing intends to reveal something hidden in Jiang Yunxuan.

) and then added the quarrel between Xiren and his mother and brother after returning to Yihongyuan: At that time, the family situation was not good, so Xiren sold Xiren to the Jia family, and Xiren agreed because he "had no reason to watch my mother starve to death." Now that my father is dead and my family's situation has improved, I have been sold to the Jia family, and I have the same food and clothing as my master. It is absolutely unreasonable for me to make a fuss about redemption. In addition, the following paragraphs and comments can be quoted:

(6) "There is no reason to watch my mother starve to death." (A filial daughter and an adopted daughter.) (Another comment after the "Supplementary Biography" cited above.)

(7) Fortunately, it has been sold to this place. (It can be said to be a blessing among misfortunes.)

(8) If it is still difficult, just redeem me and pay a few more dollars. (A filial daughter and an adopted daughter.)

(9) Quan thinks I am dead. (Poor and pitiful.)

(10) "A young lady from a humble family cannot be respected like that." (There are so many more chapters. The first sentence is about accompanying guests, and this sentence is about accompanying guests. Original purpose.) (Note: This sentence uses the word "chuan" twice, further confirming the statement of "supplementary biography" quoted in the previous quote.) It is said twice that Xiren is a "filial daughter and adopted daughter": "filial piety", because Xiren relieves the poverty of the family. , he did not hesitate to sacrifice himself as a slave: "righteousness" is because Xiren does not want to let down the kindness of Jia's family to treat her, not to mention her friendship with Baoyu. The comment can be said to be appropriate. Later generations did not see Zhi's comment, and fell into the poison of Cheng Gaoben's tampering with the original work, so they misunderstood Xi Ren. This point has been discussed in his article and will not be discussed elsewhere.

In the same chapter, there is Xiren's tactful advice to Baoyu, which is moved with emotion and reasoned. This long paragraph is a rare good article with many and accurate comments. Read them together. It is worth recalling again and again, especially the reflection of Baoyu's true character. But when it comes to Xi Ren's biography, we know from the commentary that Xi Ren is still a key figure in the last thirty chapters of Baoyu. Red scholars believe that after the fall of the Jia family, Baoyu decided to dismiss all the maids, and Xiren married Jiang Yuhan under Baoyu's instruction, but the condition was that Baoyu and Baochai's lives must be arranged. Chapter 20 After Qingwen saw Baoyu wearing a grate for She Yue, she said a few words to them and went out. There is such a comment at the bottom:

After Xiren got married, there was another person beside Baoyu and Baochai. Although he was not as considerate as Xiren, he could avoid minor disadvantages and other problems, so that he could live up to Baochai's character. also. Therefore, after Xiren got married, he said: "At least keep the Musk Moon", and Baoyu followed his words. It can be seen that although Xiren got married, he did not leave. This does not mean that Xiren found a substitute and got married as a young mistress, because there will be more to come after the marriage. There is another line in the same chapter, after Grandma Li complained to Daiyu and Baochai:

Qianxue went to the "Prison Temple" to submit the text. The title of Xiren's text reads: "Hua Xiren has a beginning and an end." I only saw that once when I was copying the Qing Dynasty, five or six manuscripts, including the Prison Temple's Comforting Baoyu, were lost by the borrowers. Sigh! This article should be read together with the general batch before Chapter 28

"Qian Xiangluo" and "Red Musk Chuan" were written in the first chapter, Gaiqi Guan Although he was a superior person, he later shared the same experience with Xiren in enshrining Jade Brother Baoqing. This is not a general article. From the above two paragraphs, we know that Xiren married Jiang Yuhan after making arrangements for Baoyu and Baochai, and continued to take care of and worship them after the marriage. However, this is only a very simple summary report and cannot meet the minimum requirements of readers. In fact, there are still clues to be found in the first eighty chapters. In the twenty-eighth chapter, Baoyu went to Feng Ziying's house for a drink. Among the guests were Xue Pan and Jiang Yuhan, who sang Xiaodan. During the drinking ceremony, Jiang Yuhan picked up a sweet-osmanthus flower and said: Fortunately, I saw a pair of sweet-scented osmanthus flowers yesterday, and then read: "The scent of flowers makes people know that the day is warm." Xue Pan shouted after hearing this, saying, "How can you read the name of this treasure randomly?" .

Later, Yun'er from Jinxiangyuan told the truth (Zhi Pi: "Yun'er knows Yihong's details, I can imagine Brother Yu's style and affection.") Jiang Yuhan quickly stood up to accompany him. After a while, the two of them were talking under the eaves of the corridor, and they were very interested in each other. Baoyu saw that he was gentle and charming, and felt very nostalgic in her heart. She took the opportunity to ask him: There is a man named Qiguan in your class. Where is he? Now he is famous all over the world, but I have no chance to meet him. Jiang Yuhan smiled and said: "This is my nickname." "Baoyu couldn't help but stumble after hearing this. After thinking for a while, he took out the fan from his sleeve, took off the jade pendant on the fan and gave it to him as a souvenir.

Qi Guan took it and said with a smile: "How can you be worthy of being rewarded without merit? Anyway, I got a strange thing here. I just tied it up early this morning. It's still brand new. You can show my affection by talking about it. "After saying that, he lifted up his clothes and took off a big red sweat scarf tied around his clothes. He handed it to Baoyu and said, "This sweat scarf is a tribute from the Queen of Qianxiang Kingdom. Wear it in summer, and your skin will be fragrant. Sweat stains. King Beijing gave it to me yesterday, and I just took it today. If it were anyone else, I would never give it to you. Second Master, please untie your own tie and tie it for me. When Baoyu heard about it, he couldn't help being happy. He quickly took it, took off one of his pine flower sweat towels and handed it to Qi Guan. After the banquet in the evening, he returned to the garden. Xiren saw that the pendant on the fan was gone, and asked Baoyu for his excuse. “Lost it immediately. "

When he was sleeping, he saw only a red sweat towel like blood spots on his waist. Xiren guessed it, because he said: "You have good pants, give me back my pair. Let me. When Baoyu heard about it, he remembered that the sweat towel belonged to Xiren and should not have been given to talent. He regretted it in his heart and could not express it in his mouth. He could only laugh and said, "I'll give you one." Xiren listened and nodded. He sighed: "I knew I would do these things again. I shouldn't have given my things to that bastard. It's hard for you not to have a plan in mind."

"

... At dawn the next day, he woke up and saw Baoyu smiling and saying: "I don't know if it was stolen at night. Just look at the pants. "

When Xiren looked down, he saw that the sweat scarf Baoyu had worn yesterday was tied around his waist. He knew that Baoyu had changed it during the night, so he quickly took it off and said, "I don't want to wear it. I'm curious about this business, so I took it as soon as possible. Seeing him like this, Baoyu had to tactfully persuade him. Xiren had no choice but to tie it up. Afterwards, Baoyu went out and finally untied it, threw it in an empty box, and tied it with another one. Baoyu didn't argue. It should be special. It should be noted that Baoyu may not have expected that Xiren and Jiang Yuhan exchanged sweat scarves with each other without knowing it, and wore them for at least one night, and sweat scarves are the most personal and symbolic clothing.

P. In the thirty-third chapter, Prince Zhongshun sent a long historian to see Jia Zheng. A Qi official in the Yun Mansion had not returned recently. Eight out of ten people in the city said that he and his son had a good relationship, so they respected him. The prince asked the old gentleman to tell his son to release Qiguan. Jia Zheng ordered Baoyu to come out and confront him. Baoyu pretended not to know who Qiguan was and denied it. The chief historian sneered and said: "That red sweat scarf." How did he get into the young master's waist? Baoyu couldn't help but say that he had bought several acres of fields and several houses in the red sandalwood castle on the eastern outskirts of the city. He thought it was there, so he added Jin Chuan to the story. Jia Zheng committed suicide by jumping into the well.

It must be pointed out that the Qianxiangluo red sweat scarf was a tribute. Even Prince Zhongshun knew about it. How could Prince Beijing not know? Jiang Yuhan acted voluntarily, it was a consensual matter, and it was inconvenient for outsiders to say anything. More importantly, Baoyu and Jiang Yuhan exchanged sweat towels, and unknowingly, the tribute accidentally got onto Xiren's waist, and he only tied it in his sleep. One night, the hands and feet were still made of Baoyu, but she didn't care about them and put them in the empty box. At the same time, the impressive Songhua sweat towel was put on the waist of Jiang Yuhan, whom she called "bastard". You should know that the sweat towel was tied to a small garment. It is also the most intimate and intimate clothing for the body. The two exchanged sweat towels without knowing it. Even Baoyu did not think of the mystery. To say that this was not a thousand-mile plot carefully designed by the author, it finally made the two of them connect. Not available. In Chapter 40, Grandma Liu entered the Jia family for the second time. At Qiu Shuang Zhai in the Grand View Garden, her grandson Ban'er asked for a Buddha's hand to play with while having dinner at Lotus Pavilion. ) came to join in the fun. He was holding a grapefruit in his hand. When he saw Baner's Buddha's hand, he clamored for it. Finally, he exchanged the grapefruit with the Buddha's hand. In this little episode, there were actually two pieces of fat. :

Children are very affectionate, so they fall into the trap of thousands of miles.

To understand these two sentences, we must look at the picture and text of Sister Qiao in the "Main Book":

Behind is another deserted village and a shop, where a beautiful woman is spinning her crops. The verdict is:

If the situation is defeated, Yungui will be abandoned, and the death of the family will not be related to relatives.

Occasionally. Helping the Liu family, she met a benefactor by chance. It shows that Sister Feng helped Grandma Liu out of kindness and found a home for her daughter. The author also arranged the marriage between the infant eldest sister and the young boy Ban'er. It's a good "Thousand Miles of Thread"

So how much pen and ink did the author spend to design the great movement of the world? The two sweat towels changed hands several times to form the union of Xi Ren and Jiang Yuhan. It is definitely not random. The summary at the end of Chapter 28 is as follows:

Qian Xiangluo is tied to the waist of the person, and the line is tied. This further confirms the above argument. A brief additional explanation will be given outside the Tiaozhi review. In the last thirty chapters, the Jia family fell, but the situation was still there, and it was not a total defeat. However, in the first eighty chapters, all the things committed by Jia She, Jia Yucun, Jia Lian, Jia Zhen, Wang Xifeng, etc. were all crimes against the law. Once it breaks out, it is inevitable that it will lead to plagiarism. In addition to their family friendship, King Beijing and Jia Zheng later took great care of Baoyu (see Chapter 14: "Jia Baoyu visits King Beijing on the road"). If the Jia family encounters such a major event, they will come forward to say a few words of justice and protect the Jia family. Unknowingly, Jia Zheng and Baoyu were at ease. At this point, Cheng Gaoben's continuation based on the previous clues is quite reasonable. The most wonderful thing is that the maid Qian Xiangluo's scarlet scarf was found in the suitcase of Baoyu Room. King Beijing was greatly surprised when he saw it. After finding out the whole story, he thought Xi and Jiang Yuhan were a match made in heaven, so he married her. It became a good thing for both of them. In this way, the knot in Baoyu's heart was untied. Logically speaking, he and Xiren had a physical relationship, so it would be difficult for both parties to break up. Baoyu is a man of great wisdom and must have realized that this was God's will. Otherwise, how could Jiang Yuhan, who had never read poetry, read out "The scent of flowers makes people feel warmer during the day" during the drinking ceremony? This is obviously a good relationship destined by nature, how can it go against the will of heaven? Secondly, if Xiren's family is well-off, Baoyu will not want her to follow and suffer and bring her down. What's more, he discovered that he was actually the one who promoted this marriage. Although he had no such intention in advance, it can be seen that everything has its own master. Jiang Yuhan naturally wanted it, and at the same time, it was impossible to refuse King Beijing's kindness. Xiren was convinced that this was God's will, and it would be difficult for him to violate the will of King Beijing who was kind to Baoyu. Even so, she still convinced Baoyu to accept Sheyue as her replacement, and then she could live in peace. At that time, Jiang Yuhan's family may have changed from a well-off society to a wealthy one, and it would not be a problem to worship Baoyu and Baochai. Therefore, it is said: "The flower attack has a beginning and an end." This is the last and most important chapter of Xiren's story.

Previous readers and critics did not see Zhi Ping, nor did they realize the author’s profound meaning. At the same time, they were misquoted by Cheng Gaoben’s deliberate alteration. They all condemned Xi Ren, and some even directly Call her a "flower bitch".

Zhao Gang said at the end of the article "Flowers Attacking People": "This kind of friendship that is consistent and stronger than gold and stone is the highest expression of Xiren's virtue. It is a pity that readers of the current version of "A Dream of Red Mansions" will not have the chance to read it." It represents the new era. Hongxue’s views and voices.

(3) Xiren’s identity and conversation

Since Xiren was the personal maid sent by Jia’s mother to serve Baoyu, and she also had a secret love affair with Baoyu, so in all aspects, Xiren Du always cares about Baoyu, and is not arrogant in Yihongyuan. However, because she is the oldest and has a special relationship with her, she unknowingly becomes half the mistress of Yihongyuan. This can be said in two ways. The first is Xiren's concern for Baoyu. She handles all Baoyu's personal clothes. In addition to herself, she also begs Xiangyun and Baochai to do the fine work on their behalf.

Secondly, Xiren always advises and pays attention to Baoyu's behavior. The most well-known to readers is Chapter 19: "Explanation of the Love and Good Night Flower". Looking at the content, we know that Xiren's surname is Hua. This explanation flower must be Xiren. The comment is very clear. The attacker first threatened him by offering to redeem his life for her at home. "First, he used deceitful words to explore his feelings and suppress his anger, and then he was able to lay down the rules." As a result, he persuaded him to do three important things, and Baoyu fully agreed, and was willing to turn into fly ash to express his gratitude. Repent sincerely. Zhi Ping has a very precise comment after this long paragraph

The paragraph "Hua Jie Yu" means that Xi Qing is fully satisfied and regards Brother Yu as his lifelong support. Everything is in order, so it is. After I read this, I sighed.

This comment is full of irony, because although Zhi Yan said in the twenty-first chapter: "Hitting Qing has three great achievements", after one night Baoyu came to Daiyu early to see Xiangyun Before he and Daiyu got up from their sleep, they put everything they had promised out of reach. If one could really listen to Xiren's words and change them accordingly, it would not be regarded as a gem "unworthy and unparalleled in ancient and modern times". This does not prevent Xiren from showing consideration and concern for Baoyu in various small ways.

If we look at the relationship between Xiren and Baoyu from another perspective, we can reach the same conclusion. Daiyu was usually verbally unforgiving, but she treated Xiren differently. In the twentieth chapter, everyone heard Baoyu shouting in his room. Daiyu said, "This is your mother (referring to Grandma Li) and Xiren shouting. That's just Xiren. Your mother wants to show off to him seriously. It shows that I have a bad attitude." It’s so obscure.” The word “that’s it” came out of Zhu Daiyu’s mouth, which was a very high compliment. Chapter 31, Daiyu calls Xiren: "Good sister-in-law, tell me." Xiren says that she is just a girl. Daiyu smiled and said: "You said you are a girl, but I only treat you as my sister-in-law." Although it was a joke, there was no irony. Not to mention Baochai's respect for Xiren. In Chapter 21, Baochai heard from Xiren's tone that Xiren "had some insight" and that "his words were ambitious and admirable." Zhi Ping also saw this and said that Baochai "takes Xiren's point deeply." Dai Chai and Chai both stand in the same position and both have a favorable impression of Xiren. As for Xiangyun, Ping'er, Yuanyang, Xifeng, Li Wan, Mrs. Wang, Jia Mu, etc., they all treat her differently. There is no need to go into detail here.

The most important thing is Baoyu's attitude towards her. Her real name was Pearl, but Baoyu changed her name to Xiren because her surname was Hua. Chapter 21: Because Baoyu refused to listen to his advice, Xiren stopped paying attention to him and slept on the kang with his eyes closed. He ignored what Baoyu said and just closed his eyes and ignored him. One of Zhi's comments said:

Jinea @① Yan Han's fake attitude has been exhausted. The viewer is lucky not to take this attitude seriously.

The second question is:

How were you and me? The more cute it becomes, the more adorable it becomes.

The most appropriate praise can be seen in the long paragraph of Chapter 21:

Then we know that Baochai’s behavior such as attacking people is not just stupid and ancient. ) Master considers himself. When in front of the embroidered tent and the lamp, under the moonlight through the green window, there are also words such as "melody" or "@③", "light, pretty and gorgeous". It's just for fun and laughter for a while, and it's not all about jealousy of talents, so it's a hundred times higher than others. Otherwise, why would Baoyu be willing to submit to the two wives? You will know after reading the following article.

It can be seen that her charming charm has the ability to win over others, and she is not a serious Taoist woman.

Baoyu only tells Xiren what he has learned about life and what he has hidden in his heart. Because Xiren is the best listener and is as close as Daiyu, sometimes he is unwilling to tell her. In the thirty-sixth chapter, after seeing the infatuated love between Ling Guan and Jia Qiang, Baoyu concentrated on making plans. When he returned to Yihong Courtyard, he saw Daiyu and Xiren talking, and sighed with Xiren! "...Last night you said that you would bury me alone with your tears. That was wrong. I can't get it all. From now on, everyone just gets their own tears." Sometimes several characters are used as the protagonist's confidants in Western novels. This allows the protagonist to reveal his inner secrets, which broadens his horizons and eliminates the need to be limited by viewpoints. Xiren will not fully understand Baoyu's thoughts, but Baoyu still confides in her from time to time, because this is such a character, and her role and importance are self-evident.

Xi Ren presides over Yihongyuan in a way that is neither arrogant nor humble, submissive and secretive. Chapter 20, Xiren was repulsed and insulted by Grandma Li, and she swallowed her anger from beginning to end. When the scolding was really unbearable (such as: "little whore", "stinky girl", "pulled out to marry a boy", etc.), she couldn't help crying. When she got up, Zhi Ring was full of injustice against her: "I'm going to ask Xi Qing to push Tian Qu Lai." and "...it's really embarrassing for me to attack Qing so rudely."

On the other hand, Xi Ren is covering up and Cleaning up the "stench" of Grandma Liu lying on Master Yihong's bed after being drunk, without leaving a trace, she was calm and handled the situation well.

As for her hospitality to Yuanyang, Ping'er, and Xiangling, she matched perfectly with Baoyu, because her starting point was not for her reputation as a virtuous person, but out of her sincere willingness to help others. She can really be said to be the most effective public relations director of Yihongyuan.

Among the four maids, although Xiren is also good at speaking, she is not as sharp as Qingwen and not as powerful as Sheyue. Sometimes she gets anxious and often takes the upper hand in order to take the overall situation into consideration. Her starting point is for others, not for herself, so she speaks very appropriately.

For example, the 19th attacker persuaded Baoyu in a long paragraph, with clear levels and clear reasoning. What is especially important is that it has true feelings, so even though it was against Baoyu's nature, Baoyu was quite moved at the time. The passage that best represents Xi Ren’s personality can be found in Chapter 31. Baoyu scolded Qingwen for breaking her fan because she accidentally dropped it. Qingwen refused to accept it and instead said that Baoyu had a too bad temper, which made Baoyu tremble all over with anger. Xiren heard this and came over to persuade him. Qingwen ridiculed Xiren because he used the word "we" and simply shot them both, forcing Xiren to say:

Girl, are you quarreling with me? Well, are you quarreling with the second master? If you are angry with me, just tell me and don't argue in front of the second master. If you are angry with the second master, everyone who shouldn't have made the argument will know. I just came in to persuade him to leave for trouble. Everyone, take care, girl. Seek my bad luck. It's not like he's angry with me, nor like he's angry with the second master. What's the point of carrying a gun and a stick? I won’t say much and let you speak.

Very reasonable: the bridge leads to the bridge, the road returns to the road, soft yet strong, showing that attacking people are not easy to follow. Qingwen should distinguish the target clearly and not confuse the target. But when Baoyu was forced to say that he wanted to go back to Mrs. Wang to send Qingwen out, Xiren saw that he could not stop her and was the first to kneel on the ground to beg for mercy. Then all the maids followed her and knelt on the ground. It can be seen that Xiren did not take advantage of her just now. If you keep your words in your heart, you will be able to tolerate and forgive others, and a storm will disappear. It is not an exaggeration to say that Baoyu is the little emperor of Yihongyuan and Xiren is his good prime minister.

Note: Since the Qing Dynasty, readers of "A Dream of Red Mansions" have always been disgusted with Xi Ren. This is of course related to the tradition of suppressing Chai and promoting Dai, and it is generally accepted that Xiren is Baochai's shadow and Qingwen is Daiyu's daughter. The more important point is that Cheng Gao's sequel wrote Xiren very unfavorably. At that time, Xiren had already lost his virginity to Baoyu and had no status. However, because of the fact that Baoyu's people had accepted it, even though he felt aggrieved, he still officially married Baoyu. Jiang Yuhan not only lost integrity, but was also unkind and unjust. This article points out that the marriage between Xiren and Jiang Yuhan was inadvertently brought about by Baoyu and was inevitable. I believe readers can accept it. As for Cheng Gaoben's alteration of the first eighty chapters and his deliberate abuse of Xiren to facilitate the writing of the sequel, he actually had anti-writing ethics. Due to space and nature constraints, I have written a separate article titled "Clearing Wrongs for Jieyuhua" for readers to refer to.
