Diamond Sutra has three meanings:

"For example, the world is not a world, but a famous world."

This is an expression, for example, there is a world, which is not an entity; However, westerners' view of the world is a view of substance, and they are always asking endlessly what is the foundation of the world. The smallest unit of an entity has experienced a continuous development from atomism to quarks.

Influenced by westerners' ideas, China people also began to have the concept of entity. The concept of this entity not only exists in physics, but also permeates our life, affecting our view of the world.

But the meaning in three sentences is that the world is not an entity, and the world has not denied that the world is an entity, but it does not mean that the world can be denied.

The world is not made up of entities, but the origin of emptiness. (Basic principles recognized by the Buddhist school)

Mineral water bottles are not made up of those basic particles. In Buddhist thought, it is self-nature, emptiness and karma. Fate will live and fate will die. Everything is like this. Only by acknowledging this can we enter the wisdom of Sakyamuni.

It is not just a logical understanding, but a real feeling.

Everything in the world, big or small, must not stay in the second sentence, but immediately enter the third sentence. This is fate.

China Thought, the three schools of thought, and the confluence of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism in Song and Ming Dynasties all have no substantive concepts, which together constitute the cultural spirit of the Chinese nation. On the other hand, in the west, its origin should start from primitive religion before philosophy. Greek mythology constructs a surreal world, and the relationship between Zeus and the gods is another set of moral laws. Greece used this primitive religion and myth to construct a trance-like world, with the aim of ensuring the sacred order between people. The social order established by China people is based on consanguinity, starting with consanguinity system and then rising to political relations.

One of the fundamental reasons for the difference between them is the geographical environment.

Aegean civilization and farming civilization. The former is to establish a contract, and the latter is a blood relationship.

If a contract is made by one person, it may be broken. Therefore, we should sanctify the contract and define people by the order and morality between gods.

The original intention and task of religion is to restore the contract between man and God. Rebuilding the contract between man and God is a religious activity.

Before the beginning of western philosophy, western religious thought has distinguished two worlds: reality and God, one side and the other.

The beginning of philosophy: Socrates and Plato.

Plato established the first complete philosophical system, which can be summarized as idealism. He did not use the language of primitive religion, but used rational language, and still wanted to build a world, a world of ideas, on the other side.

Every emotional thing is an imperfect imitation of ideas, and emotional things are things in the real world.

Transforming the world and transforming ourselves are directly influenced by Plato's idealism. However, the idea of transforming the world has never existed in China's traditional culture. What we advocate is the unity of man and nature: the philosophical embodiment of eating-we have achieved the unity of man and nature with all artistic activities of chopsticks, while eating with knives and forks in the west is the subject destroying the object, technology, and ours is art.

In China's traditional thought, it is difficult for western technology to develop.

There are different attitudes towards nature, one is to transform and develop technology, and we are developing skills in harmony with nature.

Influenced by Plato's thought, things that are not in nature finally appeared, and finally the use of nuclear energy was developed. Can we really use nuclear energy? Meet the premise of safety? Can we only use the energy that the sun gives us?

In the final analysis, people are limited, surrounded by nothingness, and it is impossible to never make mistakes.

In western philosophy, idealism is not only used to transform the world and self, but also used to construct social order. This is also the dual result of Plato's idealism. For the former, its progress lies in solving the problem of eating without weather. Agricultural civilization (Chinese civilization) has not solved this problem, which is reflected in offering sacrifices to heaven!

Now the western social order no longer has a sacred aura, but follows rationality, because rationality brings efficiency!
