What is the thickness of the tile?

The thickness of ceramic tiles is not fixed, because there are many types and specifications of ceramic tiles on the market. If the types and specifications are different, the thickness of tiles will be different.

If the tile is polished and the tile size is 80cm×80cm, then the thickness of the tile is generally around 9 mm to12 mm.

If the specification and model of ceramic tile is 0.6m×0.6m or 0.8m×0.8m, then the common ceramic tile thickness in the market is 10mm or 12mm. If the specification model of ceramic tile is 0.3m×0.3m, then the thickness of ceramic tile commonly used in the market is 6mm or 8mm.

If the tile is antique and the size of the tile is 80cm×80cm, the thickness of the tile is generally around 15 mm to 18 mm; if the size of the tile is 30cm×45cm or 30cm×60cm, the thickness of the tile is generally around 7mm to 10mm. It can be seen that the thickness of antique brick and polished brick is not much different.

Ceramic tiles are also divided into wall tiles and floor tiles. Generally, the thickness of wall tiles is between 6 mm and 8 mm, while the thickness of floor tiles is above 10 mm, which means that the thickness of floor tiles is generally thicker than that of wall tiles, but the thickness of tiles will not affect the quality of tiles, only the size of tiles will affect the quality of tiles.
