Yang Changqian came to Zhejiang with Zuo Zongtang in the first year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1862), and later served as governor of Zhejiang. The ninth day of September in the twelfth year of Tongzhi (1873.10.29) was his birthday. Zuo Zongtang, who was in Jiuquan, Gansu Province, wrote a special couplet to send congratulations:

I know the gods and immortals, so I reluctantly left ten ears for the common people; recalling the beautiful lakes and mountains in the past, I once accompanied Qiuju to celebrate the Double Ninth Festival.

In the fourth volume of "Zi Yixuan Couplet Remaining Words", there is an elder named Wang who is a philanthropic person in the village. He solves problems and resolves disputes, spreads virtues and benefits, and does everything. On September 9th, his sixtieth birthday, Li Chengxian wrote a congratulatory couplet on behalf of his fellow villagers:

With sixty years of great talent, hunger and cold can be saved, and adversity can be helped. The locust tree brings family glory, and the dove and the staff meet with gratitude. On the ninth day of the lunar month, there is no empty festival. The husband and wife share the same regular script, the children and grandchildren are happy, the chrysanthemums add the flavor of wine, and the gongs are raised high to determine the longevity.

The "dove stick" in this couplet refers to the crutch with a ring-shaped head carved on it, which refers to the old man. "兕觥" refers to ancient wine vessels.

Qin Bingwen was a calligrapher and painter in the Qing Dynasty. He died of illness on September 9, the twelfth year of Tongzhi (1873.10.29) at the age of 70. Feng Jingting wrote an elegiac couplet:

Picking chrysanthemums to look up to the wise, before meditating on the 9th, who pours Yuanliang wine to wash a cup; thinking about water shield goes against my long-cherished wish. Sighing outside Erquan Mountain, the return sail is empty and the Mi family ship is empty.

"Yuanliang" refers to Tao Qian, a poet of the Jin Dynasty, whose courtesy name was Yuanliang. "Si Chun" refers to homesickness and seclusion. "Mijia Chuan" refers to Mi Dai, a calligrapher and painter of the Northern Song Dynasty, who often traveled around the world by boat carrying calligraphy and painting. Later I borrowed the calligraphy and painting of Mi Dai.

On the Double Ninth Festival (October 4) in 1992, the International Kite Festival was held in Yangjiang, Guangdong. There is a couplet saying:

Masters compete with flying kites to occupy the autumn glory list; good winds use their strength to draw long silver lines to attract wealth.

The excellent couplets collected in the 1995 Double Ninth Festival "Respect the Elderly, Love the Elderly and Respect the Elderly" include:

I love the mulberry trees in the good scenery, and the green mountains are everywhere for my evening photos; I have received the rain and dew in the remaining years, and my white hair is bathed in the spring breeze. .
