Bandage dressing method is as follows

Bandage bandaging methods include ring bandaging, spiral bandaging, spiral reverse bandaging, return bandaging and figure 8 bandaging.

1, ring dressing:

The most basic method of bandage dressing is used for the beginning and end of bandage dressing. It is mainly used for parts with similar upper and lower thickness of limbs and small wounds, such as forehead, wrist and calf.

Note: The wound should be covered with sterile dressing or clean dressing. The first circle is slightly inclined, about 45 degrees, and the inclined angle is pressed into the annular circle to surround the second circle. Wrap it for 4-5 times, and wrap it one week before pressing it every week. The wrapping range of the bandage should exceed the edge of the auxiliary material. Finally, fix it with adhesive tape or cut the end of the bandage into two pieces from the center, and then tie the knot.

You can insert a finger and observe the feeling and skin color at the distal end of the wound.

2, spiral dressing:

Suitable for parts with similar thickness of limbs and large wounds, such as forearms and lower limbs. Note: first, wrap it twice with the ring method. Starting from the third turn, it winds obliquely upwards, and each turn covers two-thirds of the previous turn in a spiral shape. Finally, it ends with a ring bandage.

3, spiral folding dressing:

Suitable for forearm, thigh, calf and other limbs with different thickness. If the wound is bleeding heavily, this method can increase the intensity of dressing.

Note: Make two turns first, and then make spiral winding. When it becomes thicker and thicker, hold the bandage with one thumb and fold it down from this point with the other hand to cover one-third or two-thirds of the front loop. Accordingly, the bandage should be wound from bottom to top, and the bandage should be folded back to avoid the patient's wound.

4. Return to bandaging:

It is suitable for wound dressing of severed limbs, and has no tip parts such as fingertips, head and amputated stump. Note: First, wrap the bandage around the circle for 2 times, then fold the bandage up vertically with the right hand, covering the center of the residual limb first, and then alternately covering the left and right, and fixing the folded part with the left hand, covering one-third to one-half of last week. Then fold the bandage into a ring and wrap it for 2 times to fix it.

5, the word "8" dressing:

It is suitable for the instep, instep, palm and back of hand, and the joint position can also be used for wrapping hands in arms, collarbones, etc.: two circles are wrapped from the wrist, two circles are wrapped at the far end, and the handle is wound with the wrist in the shape of "8" and finally fixed in the wrist.

For the elbow joint, the bandage is wound around the middle part of the joint, then around the upper part of the joint, then around the lower part of the joint through the flexion side, and then around the upper part of the joint through the back side of the limb, and so on. It is continuously wound up and down the joint in an "8" shape, and each roll overlaps with the previous roll by 2/3. Finally, it is wound around the joint twice and fixed with adhesive tape.
