Key points of mortar rubble construction

The construction requirements of mortar rubble mainly include:

(1) Mortar rubble should be close to the slope without holes, and the skeleton structure should achieve the overall aesthetic effect, with neat and smooth lines.

(2) The reserved and sealed quality of masonry settlement joints or expansion joints shall meet the design requirements, and the joints shall be straight and tight.

(3) An expansion joint with a width of 2~3cm is set every 10~ 15m along the line, and the whole section of the joint is filled with asphalt floc.

(4) When excavating the foundation, the position of the skeleton foundation must be determined, and the stay wire must be used as a reference to avoid over-excavation and under-excavation.
