1. Close the main pipeline valve.
Before installing the toilet drain valve, the main pipeline valve must be closed to prevent water leakage and water pressure items.
2. Remove the original drain valve.
If you have used the toilet, you need to remove the original drain valve first. Usually the connection position of the sewer valve is on the wall next to the toilet. Please remove it with a wrench.
3. Clean the connection port
After removing the drain valve, clean the toilet connection port and the drain valve connection port with paper towels, and ensure that the two connection ends are clean and flat.
4. Install the drain valve
Next, install the new drain valve completely perpendicular to the insert link pipe, ensure that the base is flush with the connecting pipe, and then use a wrench to tighten the screw to fix the drain valve to ensure firm installation.
Adjust the height
To make the drain valve flush with the toilet, it is necessary to adjust the height of the drain valve. If the height is not enough, please adjust the length of the valve stem properly and connect the clamping nut.
6. Connect water pipes and water tanks
Take out the water supply pipe in the water tank, then remove the original connecting nut with a wrench, loosen the connection between the new sewer valve and the water supply pipe, and tighten it with screws.
check
Check all connections for looseness or water leakage. If there is water leakage, please choose a more suitable gasket or disassemble and reinstall it. Otherwise, you can reopen the water supply valve and flush it for three times to ensure the smoothness of the sewer valve and toilet.
To sum up, the installation of the toilet drain valve needs careful operation to check whether all connections are firm. If you don't know how to install it correctly, I suggest you seek the help of professionals to avoid problems such as water pressure caused by misoperation.
