What is a fortune teller in Liuhe?
In China folklore, "Liuhe fortune telling" refers to six important factors to predict fate. These six elements are: year, month, day, hour, luck and place. 1. Mid-year (Gregorian calendar): predict a person's life fate by combining heavenly stems and earthly branches in the year of birth and heavenly stems and earthly branches in that year. 2. Moon Union (Lunar calendar): heavenly stems and earthly branches, born in the month, and heavenly stems and earthly branches, born in that month, are combined to predict personal character and career development. 3. Gregorian calendar (lunar calendar): predict individual's life span and birthday with heavenly stems and earthly branches, and use heavenly stems and earthly branches on the same day. 4. Timing (Lunar calendar): heavenly stems and earthly branches at birth combined with heavenly stems and earthly branches at that time to predict personal character and fortune. 5. Harmony of Fate: Combine the four elements of year, month, day and time to analyze and infer personal destiny. 6. Integration: according to the location and geographical environment of the birthplace, combined with the gossip theory, predict the personal geographical fortune. These elements are combined with each other, and through analysis and inference, they are used to predict and interpret personal destiny and fortune. However, scientists should clearly point out that these fortune-telling methods cannot be scientifically proved and are for reference only.
