The taboo culture in Korea includes:
1. Do not lift the utensils. When eating with Koreans, you are not allowed to eat with a bowl in your hands. Koreans consider it inappropriate to eat with a rice bowl in hand. If you visit a Korean family or have Korean guests present, out of respect, remember that you cannot lift the rice bowl on the table with your hands;
2. Dining habits. Koreans' dining habits are not to speak loudly, chew quietly, and try not to talk about business topics;
3. How to use chopsticks. Chopsticks are only responsible for picking up vegetables, while grilling rice and scooping up soup are exclusive to spoons;
4. Taboos during New Years and holidays. When meeting each other during the holidays, you should not say unlucky words, let alone get angry or quarrel. During the first three days of the first lunar month, you are not allowed to take out garbage, sweep the floor, and you are not allowed to kill chickens or pigs;
5. Etiquette for banquets. When you are a guest, the host will not let you see the whole house, so don't walk around by yourself. When you want to leave, the host walks you to the door, or even outside the door, and then says goodbye. Koreans receive gifts with both hands, but do not open them in front of guests.
