The difference between semi-squat and squat

Semi-squat: that is, squat to thigh level. Generally, athletes in track and field, basketball and other non-strength events adopt this standard for strength training.

Squat: that is, squat until the thigh is below the horizontal plane. This is an international standard, which is mostly used for strength weightlifting, strong man and bodybuilding training.
