When I was a child, I envied children skating. When I was in grade one, my mother agreed to let me learn to skate. I'm so happy! Mother repeatedly stressed: "If you want to learn to skate, you must not be afraid of falling and hurting." I nodded.
When I came to the square, I couldn't wait to put on my skates. Ah! These shoes are really heavy, just like two big iron blocks tied to your feet. I stood up trembling, just trying to take a step, and then suddenly I knelt on the ground, which made me cry. At this time, the coach came over and told me the essentials of skating: first, stand with your feet in an external figure, raise your feet when walking, put your hands behind your back and lean forward slightly. The coach said to skate, but he didn't skate a few steps. The wheel slipped, my center of gravity was unstable, I leaned back and fell on my back. The coach told me not to be too eager to succeed in skating. A watched pot never boils. So I slowly slipped down again. But not long after, there was a muffled sound of "dong-",my feet flew, I sat down again, and tears swirled in my eyes. I searched for my mother's figure, and she just looked at me meaningfully. I seem to feel the encouragement from my mother: "Come on, son! You can do it! " So I stood up again and practiced seriously. Finally, many good things happen. Soon, I will be able to slide smoothly. Although I still fall, I have never cried or been helped up by others. Now, I am a student in the intermediate class!
Learning to skate taught me that no matter what I do, as long as I persevere, I will succeed!
