Lyudmila Putinna (January 6, 1958 -), born in Kaliningrad, Soviet Union, is the ex-wife of three-term Russian President Vladimir Putin. Lyudmila was born in Kaliningrad, graduated from Leningrad State University in 1986, and married Vladimir Putin in July 1983. From 1986 to 1990, he went to East Germany with Putin; from 1990 to 1994, he served as a German teacher at Leningrad University. Putina speaks German, Spanish and French and loves theater and music. After 2002, Lyudmila's exposure increased significantly: from December 2002 to December 2003, she visited at least 13 countries and regions, averaging more than once a month. But since Putin became president of Russia for the third time, Lyudmila Putinna has rarely appeared in the public eye. In June 2013, Lyudmila and Putin announced their divorce. Putin and Putina have two daughters - 28-year-old Maria and 27-year-old Katerina.
