What efforts have you made to practice calligraphy well?

In order to practice calligraphy, I have made a lot of efforts, but the results are not particularly good! First of all, according to the arrangement of the school, I purchased the four treasures of the study: pen, ink, paper and inkstone. Then he copied Liu Gongquan's copybooks in the calligraphy room on his own time. After a period of practice, I found that I had a better understanding of calligraphy.

That is, when practicing calligraphy, you must practice quietly and seriously without being anxious. Practicing calligraphy is a slow-moving activity. During the practice, the pen moves freely and the hands follow the heart. But to a large extent, calligraphy practice depends on understanding. Calligraphy practice is also done in one place, and it is very serious.

However, the effects of calligraphy practice are very different. Some people quickly mastered the use of frame structure and brushwork, but I still couldn't practice the relevant skills after spending three times as much time as others. degree. From my own reflection, the main reason is that I am in a hurry, and the calligraphy words I practice in this way are as weak as the pen calligraphy.

So I continued to buy related materials. In addition to Liu Gongquan’s copybooks, I also tried to practice Yan Zhenqing’s copybooks and the copybooks of Zhao Mengfu from the Yuan Dynasty. However, no matter how hard I tried, the results were mediocre.

In the following period, I actively participated in various calligraphy activities on campus! I continued to learn from those calligraphy enthusiasts and gradually mastered the skills of calligraphy practice. After a period of practice and application, I gradually learned some simple calligraphy skills. At the same time, in the process of practicing calligraphy, I have become more and more calm. Although my calligraphy works are difficult to be elegant, the strokes, strokes and strokes are still very regular.

In the teacher calligraphy competition held by the school, although my soft-pen calligraphy did not win the first prize, my hard-pen calligraphy won the first prize. In the past three years of hard work, I have used countless pieces of rough paper and scrapped more than a dozen brushes, but compared with the beginning, the progress is still obvious.
