Figure 8 knurled inlay nut

Install the nut. If the quantity is too large, install one third of the nuts first, and then tighten them gradually.

Locking principle:

The locking nut of the disc lock consists of two parts, each part has staggered cams. Because the inclination angle of the inner wedge design is greater than the nut angle of the bolt, this combination is tightly bitten into a whole. When there is vibration, the convex parts of the locking nut of the disk lock are staggered with each other, resulting in lifting tension, thus achieving perfect locking effect.

Locking nut:

Lock the external connector of the harness or other fittings. The working principle of nut is self-locking by friction between nut and bolt. However, under dynamic load, the reliability of this self-locking will decrease.

On some important occasions, we will take some anti-loosening measures to ensure the reliability of nut locking. Among them, locking nut is one of the anti-loosening measures.

Embedded nut:

The main operation mode of embedded knurled copper nut is injection molding, heating or direct mold injection and embedding plastic parts. If injection molding is used, the melting point of PA/NYLOY/PET is above 200°C, and the temperature of embedded nut will increase rapidly after hot melting into plastic parts. After injection molding, the plastic body quickly cools, crystallizes and hardens.

If the temperature of the embedded nut is still at a high temperature, it may drop to the place where the copper nut contacts the plastic part and start to loosen or crack. Therefore, copper nuts are used instead of carbon steel nuts in the injection molding of embedded nuts.

There are two ways to form the external knurling of embedded copper nuts. One way is to draw flowers with copper raw materials and then make them on equipment. Generally, the lines drawn in this way are straight lines.

The other is to use smooth round copper material to punch and emboss directly in the production process. This processing method can produce some knurled copper nuts with non-standard sizes, and the embossing shapes of embedded copper nuts can be selected by users, such as mesh, figure-eight embossing, herringbone embossing and other embossing patterns.
