The meeting discussed the new situation and new tasks faced by middle school education in the new period. Technical secondary school education must adapt to economic construction and the development of science and technology. China's "four modernizations" construction needs not only a large number of senior professionals, but also more intermediate professionals, so as to increase the proportion of technical and management talents in the labor force and maintain a reasonable proportion of intermediate and senior professionals. ……
