Yang ling's life

In the early years of the Republic of China, she went to Beijing with her eldest brother Yang. Soon, Fan Fanshan was worshipped as a teacher. Besides, she also studied literature, history, painting and calligraphy with famous artists such as Ding Gonggong, Zray, Chen, and Liannanhu. Every time a solo exhibition is held, the audience says that "Miss Yang is very talented".

At that time, she and Qi Baishi enjoyed a good reputation in Beijing, and they also held art exhibitions together. She has a painting by her teacher Chen Shiceng and a poem written by Qi Baishi:

Opening a picture can confuse the teacher with the truth and win the Anyang Shishi God. Smile if you know what's underground, and pass it on if you love it.

Yang Ling (Mi Jiafu) is so talented that many people naturally fall for her. It is said that Pan Fu, the former prime minister of Beiyang Cabinet, expressed her admiration for her many times with poems and wanted to ask her to be a secretary. She wrote back: "It is better to burn incense and wash ink for Pulsatilla than to be the secretary of the blackhead prime minister (referring to Pan Fu)." Yang Ling (played by Mi Jiafu) is not heartless to Pan, but has long adhered to celibacy. Since she was a child, she has witnessed countless talented women suffocate and fall under the heavy feudal door. She is unwilling to go with the flow, insists on celibacy, and hopes that her fate will be dominated by herself. In the third year of the Republic of China, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Beiyang Government established the Antiquities Exhibition Center. Yang Ling (Yi Jiafu) was invited to the Antiquities Exhibition Center as a painter. Facing this art palace, she absorbed the artistic nutrition of the palace treasures. Thanks to the recommendation of Pu Yi's teacher Chen, she was able to freely enter and leave the forbidden garden in the Inner Palace, so that she could freely use the tributes preserved in the Palace: silk, rice paper, pigments, gold foil and exquisite pen and ink.

The "September 18th Incident" broke out, the motherland was broken and our compatriots were killed. Yang Ling (Mi Jiafu) witnessed everything in front of her and vowed not to cooperate with the Japanese. Her poem: "Kanto despises a thousand bells and does not sacrifice Japanese integrity" is enough to illustrate her thoughts and feelings. The following year, the German Consulate in Harbin held a solo exhibition for her, and she left Germany in the name of an exhibition. During her stay in Berlin, Hitler organized an exhibition of paintings with the German upper class and invited her to participate. She created a flower-and-bird painting with colored ink full of oriental colors. On the opening day, Hitler and his female secretary ordered the painting together. The female secretary sent a check to the author to write a poem. She thought for a moment and wrote it. The content is not a compliment, but a satire written in Chinese. The English translation of this poem is "To the War Lord" (to the warmongers). Hitler didn't understand Chinese, so he naturally didn't understand its meaning. When translated into English a few days later, he flew into a rage and immediately issued an expulsion order-expelling Yang Ling from the country. However, the clever Yang Ling quietly left Germany before the expulsion order was issued.

After leaving Germany, Yang Ling went to Canada and then to the United States. 1972, at the age of 87, she wrote two letters in succession, which were sent to China by American Secretary of State Mr. Zhang Hangyan and Dr. Kissinger respectively. There was a poem in the letter saying: "I am a hermit abroad, and I miss my roots every time I see fallen leaves." At the foot of Xiaoling Mountain, let the light shine first and go back to Changyi's parents' grave. She died in 1978 and was buried in a foreign country on the other side of the ocean.
