It is purely accidental that Mr. Sun Xianglin studied Laozi's Tao Te Ching. His family, relatives, colleagues and former work units all know that he is not a fan and researcher of China traditional culture, nor is he a family member who studies Tao Te Ching and Lao Xue. I have been teaching for forty years, and my major is mechanical drawing. I have not been exposed to any mysterious books and secrets, and I have no other specialties and hobbies. When I retired at the age of 60, I never left my study for a day, and there was no legend or mystery. Even in the upsurge of traditional culture and qigong, he did not drift with the tide, but was as carefree as ever. Everything is ordinary, ordinary.
Occasionally, he began to sit still. After a period of meditation, he had an indissoluble bond with Laozi's Tao Te Ching. 1May, 986, in a quiet state, he began to write the text of Lao Tzu's Tao Te Ching that came to mind.
On the first day, he wrote a word "Tao", the second day was a word "De", the third day ... The next day, it was like this every day, but the writing was different. Only after his colleagues knew it did they tell him that he had written the words in Laozi's Tao Te Ching. Afterwards, colleagues bought him Wang Bi's Notes on Laozi's Moral Principles in the bookstore. A few months later, in this state of doing nothing, he finished writing all the words of the Tao Te Ching. The result is quite different from the Tao Te Ching annotated by Wang Bi. The most prominent thing is that the order of the original chapter 8 1 has been adjusted. Except for chapter 1, all other chapters have changed. Chapter 8 1 has been changed to lesson 8 1, and each lesson has a title. The title of each lesson is composed of the text. Except that the title of lesson 1 is one word, the names of lessons 2 to 8 1 are all composed of two words. That is, the second lesson "smell the Tao", the third lesson "good people" ... the 865438 lesson "loading camp" In addition, there are many additions, deletions, adjustments and corrections to words, including sentence reading and punctuation. The Tao Te Ching he wrote is ***7 1 1 1. This book was published by Huazhong Normal University Press from 1990 to 10, and its title is "Correction of Kun Li's Tao Te Ching".
Later, in the same state and in the same way, I wrote Five-character Tactics of Qin Li Tao Te Ching, Seven-character Tactics of Qin Li Tao Te Ching, Nine-character Tactics of Qin Li Tao Te Ching, Qi Spectrum of Yin and Yang and Five Elements, and Qin Li Tao Te Ching. In this process, Mr. Sun Xianglin appeared the function of painting and calligraphy. In the state of inaction, he drew hundreds of big pictures with profound charm and wrote hundreds of calligraphy with vigorous and powerful brushwork. All these contents are called "moral message" of Li Yong by Mr. Sun Xiang. These contents constitute his series of New Translations of Tao Te Ching, making it a major systematic project.
In July 2003, his third book, A New Translation of Laozi's Tao Te Ching, was published by Hubei People's Publishing House. This book is based on the collation of Li Meng's Tao Te Ching and the interpretation of Li Meng's Tao Te Ching, combined with some of his lectures and some "formulas".
In these processes, except for the third book, he is different from many other experts in the study of Tao Te Ching. He doesn't have that kind of painstaking review and search, and he doesn't have that kind of racking his brains. Everything is done in a state of inaction. Ask him what happened. He said that as long as you sit down and relax, these words will appear in your mind, and you just have to write them down. He called this situation "the natural acceptance of moral information".
His "natural acceptance of moral information" is divided into two stages. The first stage is to receive your own records. The second stage began with writing "Five-character Tactics of Kun Li Tao Te Ching", and then he told himself that it was recorded by his assistant. It can be seen that the way he deciphered the Tao Te Ching is unusual and very novel.
What is more distinctive is that Mr. Sun Xianglin explained the Tao Te Ching layer by layer in the form of "formula", which more fully and clearly revealed the connotation and mystery of the Tao Te Ching, including the mystery of Inner Dan, which was regarded as "mysterious" and "secret" by the world.
Below, we briefly introduce the basic contents of various "tricks".
1, "five-character formula". The so-called "five-character formula" is to take five words from the original text of each lesson of Tao Te Ching as the general outline, then explain each word with five words respectively, and then explain these five words with three "five sentences".
Shall we start with lesson 65438? Tao, for example, introduces the five-character formula:
The first lesson is that Taoism is refined into metaphysics.
Tao-big heaven and earth humanism: Avenue gives birth to heaven and earth, and heaven and earth give birth to all things, the spirit of all things.
Three lives, two lives and three lives: Tao gives birth to infinity, infinity gives birth to two instruments, and two instruments give birth to three talents.
Refining-refining the spirit of light: first refining the light of five colors, then refining jewelry, and then refining the spirit.
Xuan-Upper, Middle and Lower San Xuan: Upper Xuan is short and round, middle Xuan is round, and lower Xuan is reunited.
Enter-say "God" when entering the door: if you enter the gate of the avenue, it means that God is not a person, and man and God are one God.
2. "Seven characters". The so-called "seven-character formula" is to extract seven words from the original text of each lesson of Tao Te Ching, which constitutes the general outline of this lesson, and then explain each word with eight words respectively, and then explain the eight words with three eight-character sentences. Like lesson 20? Good people:
Lesson 20 Kindness and trust, filling people with gas.
Mind-cultivating the mind helps the mind to be virtuous: cultivating the mind means cultivating the original god, and the Tao helps the original god to grow, and the original god is more virtuous.
Goodness-good words and good deeds begin and end well: the original goodness is goodness, which leads to good words and good deeds, and everything must start well and end well.
Faith-Taoist priests must believe in classics and spread them around: Taoist priests must believe in Taoism, which is effective when spread high, and classics are effective when spread around.
The essence of the sun and the moon nourishes its spirit: the essence of the sun and the moon nourishes its spirit by yin and yang, and the imbalance between yin and yang supplements it. Yang is greater than yin and absorbs yang.
Qi-Daoqi The qi of weather, like Daoqi, is a mixture of qi, qi of heaven and earth, qi of yin and yang, qi of yin and yang and Daoqi.
Attention-focus on the whole body to cheer up: yin and yang and five elements are the natural qi, and the natural qi focuses on the whole body, and the spirit is full of words and deeds.
People-everyone practices Buddhism, and everyone respects it: being helpful, irretrievable, proud of the world, respected and talented.
3. "Nine-character mantra". The so-called "nine-word formula" means that each lesson has nine words as the general outline of this lesson, then nine "nine sentences" are used to form the main content of the full text, and then three "nine sentences" are used to explain each "nine sentences" respectively. However, the "nine-character formula" is different from the "five-character formula" and "seven-character formula", that is, these nine words are not extracted from the original text of the course as a general outline. Shall we start with lesson 62? Good man "as an example:
Lesson 62 Shen Tao, the mother of all things.
Tao gives birth to an infinite mixed body-all kinds of elements are mixed into a mixed body, which is boundless and vast, and the whole universe is infinite.
The mixed body is divided into yin and yang to generate Tai Chi-the infinite cycle of finite body Tai Chi, in which yin and yang are separated and divided into two Tai Chi fish.
The source of Yin and Yang of Taiji is on and off-Taiji produces the source of Yin and Yang, and when mixed elements enter the Tao, they gain one, while surplus drains the world.
Yang Li is a kind of light floating celestial body-Yang particles are emitted from the eye canal of Yang fish, white as jade, light floating, saturated with pigment and stabilized into celestial bodies.
Clouds and turbidity falling into stars and gathering balls-cloud particles emerge from the eye canal of cloud fish, dark turbidity accumulates into balls, and lava water burns to pour shells.
Yin and Yang are the embryonic form of everything-Yin and Yang are combined to form tentacles, which are shaped according to the nature of species, and the embryonic form will be lifeless and unchangeable.
The silence of the old king made everything germinate-the silence of the old king broke the silence, the return of nature awakened everything, and everything surged to sprout new life.
The ecological environment for the growth of natural things-natural things are naturally bred, die and die, live and raise dead and bury, and promote the survival of the fittest.
Everything is interdependent and interdependent-everything is interdependent to protect life, and the law of the jungle will not be trapped, neither born nor dead nor balanced.
4. Qi and Spectrum of Yin-Yang and Five Elements. "Qi Spectrum of Yin-Yang and Five Elements" also uses a "seven sentences" as the general outline to summarize the theme of this lesson, then uses seven sentences to explain the basic content of this lesson, and then uses three "seven sentences" to explain the "seven sentences" that summarize the basic content of the text respectively. Shall we start with lesson 49? Take Hande as an example.
Lesson 49 Virtue, honesty and evil cannot enter.
Virtue and generosity can improve the body-virtue and generosity mark function, but it is difficult to have a single function, which is complete and life-saving.
Doing nothing does not fight for victory-doing nothing does not fight for selfish desires, yin and yang and five elements are adjustable, and heaven and earth are free to gallop.
The energy field naturally surrounds yourself-the surrounding energy field protects your body, and people naturally enter and leave their natural gods.
Poisonous snakes and wild beasts can't invade-intruders can't get in without a door, and they are weak and unstable when they see people attacking them.
You can survive without eating whole grains-people decide to leave, don't eat fireworks, and the fairy fruit ignores the mother.
Yin-yang and five elements bleed air-yin-yang and Kun-qi are straightened out, and the five elements control life and luck, and heaven and earth circulate and people bridge.
Completely transformed-the flesh and bones are completely new, forming a shadow with the shadow, tangible and intangible.
5. "Heaven, Earth, Man and Nature". "Heaven, Earth, Man and Nature" has no general outline for the whole class. It first summarizes the basic content of the text with seven "seven sentences", and then explains the "seven sentences" that summarize the basic content of the text with three "seven sentences" respectively. Shall we start with lesson 665438? Changde "as an example:
Lesson 61
Constant virtue is called Changde-everything has its own category of virtue, which shows its advantages and disadvantages, and virtue will rise with virtue.
Everything is tangible and has emotions-emotions are the characteristics of species. Seeing things gives birth to feelings with the environment, and feelings are always born with empty things.
Love is a flowing feeling-it is difficult to practice because of dreams, and it has a deep influence on Taoism, and it persists in practice every day.
If the sex remains unchanged, the morality will last forever-if the sex remains unchanged, the morality will be cultivated, the morality will be born, and the morality will be pure.
Matter is not pure-the chaos of matter is difficult to sort out, and it is difficult for a single matter to form itself. The purer the material, the more hidden the impurities.
Competition for the survival of all things-struggle for the survival of all things, success without struggle, intangible is better than tangible peace.
Virtue depends on the rise and fall of species-the rise and fall of species shows the spirit of virtue, the decline and fall of species disappear, and all evil invades morality.
In a word, Mr. Sun Xianglin explained the Tao Te Ching from different levels, aspects and angles with these "tricks" he recorded, which made the world have a deeper understanding of the connotation of the Tao Te Ching. These connotations involve mysteries such as the origin of the universe and life, and some of these mysteries are being proved by contemporary high technology. Of course, there are more things that can't be proved at present, which need more people to practice, comprehend and decipher in more unconventional ways in the future.
