The installation sequence of door and window glass is as follows:
Materials/tools: door and window glass, sealant, neoprene pad, aluminum alloy sash and rubber batten.
1. Remove the dust, oil stain and water film on the surface of glass and aluminum alloy, clean the mortar and foreign matter in the glass notch, clear the drainage hole, and check whether the sash switch is flexible.
2. When fixing with sealant, adjust the vertical and horizontal positions of glass first, and the joint between sealant and glass and its bad mouth must be dry and clean.
3. Preparation for glass installation: Place the lower part of the glass in the groove with a neoprene pad with a thickness of about 3mm to prevent the glass from directly contacting the sash.
4. glass installation: put the cut glass in place in the aluminum alloy sash, and the glass in place should stop in the middle of the groove with sufficient embedding amount. After assembly, the gap between the glass and the inlay groove should be ensured, and shock-absorbing pads should be installed at the main parts to buffer the impact of opening and closing forces.
5. Fix with adhesive tape: firstly, put the rubber battens on both sides of the glass and squeeze them tightly, and check whether the installation position is correct, so that the drainage holes should not be blocked. Then, take out the rubber battens, evenly brush the rubber on the battens, and embed the battens into the glass grooves in turn for fixing. The specifications of the rubber bead should be consistent with the actual size of the groove, and its length should be shorter than the peripheral length of the glass. At the corner, the strip should be cut into eight angles and connected with glue. The rubber strip shall be tightly attached to the glass and notch, and shall not be loose. The installation shall not be offset, and the rubber strip shall not be forcibly filled in.
