What does it mean to moisten the soil?

Through the article "Four Pillars of heavenly stems and earthly branches", we know the origin of eight characters, that is, the heavenly stems and earthly branches value when a person is born, and the four values of year, month and day are eight characters, so it is called "eight characters". For example: Xin Chou Nian, Geng, Ding, Xin Chou Shi. So what about the five elements from the eight characters?

The five elements are wood, fire, earth, gold and water, which represent five material attributes and are abstract concepts. The theory of five elements has a long history in China. Five is a common number, five fingers, five senses, five internal organs and five tastes. . . There are many things that can be divided into five categories.

There is a traditional theory that there are five elements in a person's birth time. So how to deduce the number of five elements from the eight characters? The method is to find out the five-element attribute of heavenly stems and earthly branches, and then calculate the five-element attribute hidden in the earthly branch (the five-element attribute hidden in the earthly branch is related to heavenly stems, so it is called Tibetan heavenly stems because it is considered to be related to human activities).

Together with supporting and storing the five elements, the total number of the five elements is: wood 4, fire 2, earth 5, gold 5 and water 2 (the total number of the five elements is related to the strength of human internal organs)
