Yin Shizhen's graveyard

At the northern end of Yinjialin Village at the foot of Fenghuang Mountain in the southwest suburb of Jinan, there is the cemetery of Yin Shizhen, a scholar of the Ming Dynasty cabinet. Yinjialin village was formerly known as Luwangzhuang. Since the cemetery of Yin Shizhen, the prime minister of the Ming Dynasty, was built on the edge of the village, the name of the village was changed to' Yin Jialin', and the descendants of Yin Shizhen who were waiting for the tomb forest have lived here ever since.

Sun Yin Guanghe, the 18th generation of Yin Shizhen, said that Pu Songling told a story in Strange Tales from a Lonely Studio, saying that a "cloudy official" lived in a deserted yard late at night, attended the fox wedding, became the best man of the "new couple" and was invited to attend the fox wedding banquet and other activities. The "cloudy official" in the story refers to Yin Shizhen, and Pu Songling bravely introduced the "cloudy official" in the story, and praised him for his "charming" by the mouth of the fox Weng.

Yin Guanghe said that when he was a child, he also saw the portrait of Yin's family. "The portrait is about one meter wide and one and a half meters high. This is a full-length portrait. The ancestors wore official uniforms, hats and wings and sat in plush chairs. Very majestic! " Yin Guanghe said, unfortunately, this precious portrait was burned in the Cultural Revolution.

"Let me show you the cemetery." Subsequently, the reporter followed Yin Guanghe from Yinjialin Village to the north and walked about 500 meters along a straight "Shinto" to the ancient tomb at the foot of Fenghuang Mountain. The first thing you see is a lush cypress tree standing on the top of the tomb. The cypress tree is about four meters high, some roots are exposed on the ground, and the branches are vigorous and magnificent. Look at the cemetery. It is square. The abutment is about two meters high and 20 meters in circumference. Mosaic with bluestone, imitation wood mortise and tenon structure. It's well preserved. The middle of the abutment is about three meters high and covered with thorns. The whole cemetery area presents a vicissitudes of life atmosphere. There is a broken stone tablet on the southeast side of the cemetery, engraved with the words "Yin Shizhen's Tomb" and "1September 3, 979 announced the establishment of Jinan Revolutionary Committee" and "the establishment of Licheng County People's Government".

"According to the old man, this cypress has existed since the ancient tomb was built. It has a history of more than 400 years, and the pedestal around the tomb is also original. " Yin Guanghe recalled that when I was a child, the cemetery was not like this. At that time, there was a big stone tablet about three meters high in front of the tomb, and the inscription on it was written by Yan Song. A hundred meters in front of the tomb, there is a white marble archway, beautifully carved. On both sides of the monument in front of the tomb, there is a stone tablet with an epitaph on it, and there are five stone statues on both sides, as well as stone statues such as stone horse and stone sheep, which are arranged in turn. There are also large areas of pine and cypress around the cemetery, which looks very imposing.

According to the Records of Ming History, Yin Shizhen died in Ming Shenzong in the ninth year of Wanli, and the emperor gave him "Jinding Jade Burial" and posthumous title "Wen Zhuang". The cemetery is about 30 mu, with a white marble archway and pine and cypress all over the cemetery. Therefore, Yin Guanghe's words are not empty talk.

"It's a pity that tombstones and memorial archways were destroyed during the Cultural Revolution. Now there are only some residual stones and statues scattered in the village." Yin Guanghe said that a stone sheep scattered in the villagers' yard was stolen in the dark. It is said that there may be residual stones and sheep scattered in the nearby orchard. The reporter then looked for them in the orchard in front of the cemetery under the leadership of Yin Guanghe and Zhang Chuangang, village party secretaries. When I came to an orchard, I suddenly found two stone sheep in the green vine fence. I saw that these two stone sheep are basically the same size, both nearly one meter high, and their patterns are very vague. One of the stone sheep's eyes was painted with red pigment.

"There is also a slate here." Looking all the way, Yin Guanghe found a cuboid green slate about 3 meters long in the hay on the roadside, which has been eroded into multi-tones. He said this is the beam on the memorial archway in front of the tomb. At that time, there were such large stone components, indicating that the supervision of the cemetery at that time was extraordinary.

Mrs Yin, who is nearly eighty years old, is Yin Guanghe's own sister and the 18th generation descendant of Yin Shizhen. She took out Yin Jiapu wrapped in red silk from home and carefully opened it for the reporter. There is an introduction to Yin Shizhen's Biography of Wen Zhuang in the genealogy, which records Yin Shizhen's life in detail, as well as his good friend, Li Panlong, the leader of the last seven sons of Ming Dynasty, who wrote "Send Yin and Report" and "Send Yin into the Capital of Neihan", and so on, as well as a eulogy for Yin Shizhen's mother.

"He is knowledgeable, exquisite poetry. Bian Gong, one of the first seven sons, Li Panlong, the head of the last seven sons, and Xu Bangcai, a famous poet, are also called Yin Ruins in Li Bian. " Yin Guanghe said that he had checked the sequel of Licheng County Records, which commented on Yin Shizhen's poem "Qilu is elegant and gentle, Zhao Yan is solemn and stirring, and wuyue is graceful and graceful, which is a masterpiece of my hometown". It can be seen that Yin Shizhen was highly respected in the poetry circle at that time, and there are still works such as The Collection of Fang Shan Today and Ming Nong Xuan Yue Fu handed down from generation to generation.

According to records, in the 26th year of Jiajing, Yin Shizhen was a scholar and studied under Yu Wang (later Ming Muzong). Yin Shizhen did his duty and instilled his lofty moral standards in his students. According to the Biography of Yin Shizhen in the Ming Dynasty, when Yin Shizhen was Wang Yu's teacher, "Guan Jun ruled the country by virtue, and there was no need to scare people, and the king was moved."

In the first year of Qin Long, Yin Shizhen got a bachelor's degree and was in charge of imperial academy. In the second year of Qin Long, he paid tribute to the history of the Ministry of Rites, and in the fourth year of Qin Long, he was a college student at Ren Wenyuan Pavilion. He is a good official who cares about the sufferings of the people. He once remonstrated with the emperor regardless of the exclusion of the powerful ministers, saying, "No mercy, probation, training, frugality and attention to the people at home and abroad." At the same time, he is also a courageous and just man. He used to be "eager to try" in front of all the ministers because he didn't like the arrogance of the powerful ministers. Qin Long five years, Yin Shizhen resigned and returned to his hometown of Jinan. After his death, he was buried in Fenghuang Mountain in the southwest suburb of Jinan.

"More than 400 years have passed, and now fewer and fewer people know about Yin Shizhen. It's really a pity. " Zhang Chuangang, the village party secretary, said that Yin Shizhen's tomb was stolen and dug twice. On one occasion, criminals actually dug a hole more than two meters deep in the tomb area, and a stone pillar was also broken. Fortunately, the villagers found it in time and stopped it. The grave robbers failed. Secretary Zhang said that not long ago, after the tomb was selected into the third batch of provincial cultural protection units, they especially hoped that the government departments could take measures as soon as possible to strengthen the protection and repair of the tomb and make it a precious historical and cultural heritage that future generations would look forward to for a long time.
