According to the number of words written, it can be written in the middle line or two or three lines. Writing content is generally couplets, epigrams, epigrams and poems. When writing banners, we should pay attention to the relationship between words and interspersed bands, and the mutual echo between lines, and at the same time, we should handle the primary and secondary relationship between words and signatures. The signature is divided into two forms: single paragraph and double paragraph. The single paragraph is generally written in the middle position on the left. The content of the paragraph includes the writing time, the author's name, or just the author's name or number. Cover the bottom of the letter, generally it is advisable to use it on both sides, and the distance between the seals should be appropriately opened. Because the content of this calligraphy work is couplets, which appear in pairs, it is also called couplets or couplets.

Couplets are divided into upper couplet and lower couplet, with the upper couplet on the right and the lower couplet on the left. The format of couplets can be the same as that of banners, and it can also be larger or smaller than banners. The writing content of couplets is strict, which requires that the number of words in the upper and lower couplets is equal and the same words are not repeated. In addition to specially prepared conjunctions, antithetical sentences and antithetical sentences in poems are generally chosen. The antithesis has five words and seven words, ranging from three words to dozens of crosses and hundreds of words. Rhyme is divided into five words and seven words, and the middle two couplets (parallel couplets and neck couplets) are the most common. When writing five-character and seven-character couplets, the upper and lower couplets should be written in a single line vertically. Couplets with a cross or more should write two or more lines. Single sentences are generally written in the upper left position of the bottom couplet.
