Basic stitch of sewing

Hand needling covers a wide range of contents, and there are various needling methods. Commonly used needle methods include walking needle, fixed needle, mixed needle, back needle, sewing needle, triangular needle, tying needle and flower tension needle.

1. Stitching (needling) is one of the basic needling methods of traditional hand needling technology in China, which can be divided into long needling and short needling.

2. Needles

There are two kinds of needles, one is the open needle and the other is the dark needle.

Ming Shuo is also called pulling pin. It is also called oblique needle because the straight needle is shallow and the stitch is oblique. When moving the needle from right to left, the stitch on the front should be small and tidy, and the color of the thread should be similar to that of the fabric, which is mostly used to fix the welt of clothing and the pocket clip.

dark needle is also called dark needle. There is no stitch on the front, and there are also no stitches on the front and back. It is also used for the welting of clothing.

3. reverse hook needle

commonly known as buckle needle, also known as catch needle. First, move a needle forward (the stitch is about .3 meters), and then retreat a needle (about .9 cm). The stitch is slightly inclined. Because this stitch is relatively firm, it is often used when sewing and fitting armholes after assembling pants.

4. Triangular needle

is also called flower tension, commonly known as dog tooth needle. Used to fix cuffs, bottoms and trousers of clothes. Run the needle from left to right. There is no stitch on the front, and the stitches on the back are crossed.

5. Sewing needle

is also called hemming needle and locking needle. It is a common needle method to decorate the raw edge of cloth and prevent looseness, and can also be used for sticking cloth. First pick the needle horizontally, then pick the needle vertically, and the suture passes under the vertical pick needle, so as to repeat to the required length. There are many variations of the sewing needle

6. The looping needle

is used for the slit of clothes, the zipper, the stop of inserting bags, etc. The stitch length is about .6 to 1 cm. First, cross-stitch 2 or 3 lines, then insert the vertical line from top to bottom behind the line, draw on the set of lines, and repeat to the length of the cross-stitch line. The vertical line stitch should be dense and neat.

7. Yangliuzhen

People also call it Yang Shuhua. It is mainly used for hem welting in women's coat clips, which can not only fix welting, but also play a certain decorative role. Start the needle from the reverse side, horizontally pick out the needle from the front line, and tighten it to the left. First, repeat two or three stitches downward at 45 degrees, and then repeat them upward at 45 degrees. The stitch on the front side is zigzag from right to left, and then stop the needle on the reverse side after reaching the required length.

8. Straight stitch

This stitch method is used to splice clothes, and the seam is flat and thin. Starting from the back of the cloth, the front stitch is straight, and the back stitch is inclined. The needle is transported from bottom to top, and the top and bottom should be aligned.

9. Figure-of-eight needles

are also called herringbone needles, nano-needles and needles. The stitch of oblique stitches is about .8 cm, the stitch distance is about 1 cm, and they are aligned horizontally and vertically, and the front is firmly picked with a thread.

1. Swinging needle

is also called swinging seam. Used for trimming raw edges that can't be hemmed with lockstitch, and the stitch is oblique

11. The stitch on the front of arch stitch

is thin and short, and arranged neatly. It can be used for edge decoration and seam reinforcement.

12. Thread-pulling loop

is a way to connect the face and the inside of the hem of clothes. After the needle is inserted, the thread end is hidden in the cloth, and after the needle is taken out, the thread is looped, and then the lead is sleeved in the loop. Hook the thread with your left hand, tighten it to make the hooked thread form a second loop, and then feed the thread, set the thread, hook the thread and pull the thread. This cycle is repeated to the required length.

13. Fastening loops

are used for button loops, threading holes, etc. Hide the thread in Hubner after the needle is raised. Sew four or six serifs according to the size of buttons or the thickness of belts. Then draw the coil with a needle and tighten it, and repeatedly draw the coil until the length of the lining is long. It is best that the needle stop knot can be on the cloth, and the thread end needs to be hidden < P > There are many other things besides the above.
