Key points of quality control and supervision measures for curb stone and footpath projects:
(1) Curb stone process: straightness, elevation, stagger, appearance, joint width;
(2) Trail process: road bed, base layer, smoothness, straightness, board difference, and seam width. Quality Control Key Points and Supervision Measures Trail projects and curbs are important components of the appearance of road projects, and are also one of the important items of visual inspection during project acceptance and quality evaluation. The main problems existing in the current project are the inconsistent width of the curb stone joints, the unsightly appearance of the curb stones, uneven sidewalk bricks; and the barrier-free design has not been implemented.
(3) The key items of project supervision quality control are: curb stone gap width, curb appearance, trail smoothness, and trail accessibility.
1) Measures to ensure the width of curb stone gaps. a. Require the contractor to hand over the safety technical explanation of curb stone installation to each operator. When installing curbs, each team of workers must be equipped with a ruler pole the same width as the joint. b. The supervision will require each construction team of the contractor responsible for the construction of curb stones to conduct a test section of 50-100m. The construction will be formalized after passing the supervision acceptance.
2) Measures to ensure the appearance of curb stones. a. The contractor is required to take protective measures after the curb stone is installed to prevent collision from external forces. b. It is required that the eight-shaped arc at the intersection and the round end of the isolation belt should be arc-shaped curbs. c. When curbs are required to avoid inspection wells, arc-shaped curbs must also be used. d. The slope of the curb at the intersection is changed due to the barrier-free design, using the method of overall slope change from the intersection point of the eight-shaped arc of the intersection and the tooth of the straight road. It is recommended that the designer cancel the method of changing the slope only at the tactile paving bricks.
3) Measures to improve the smoothness of the trail. a. The contractor is required to take the construction of the trail bed seriously. The elevation and compaction of the road bed must comply with the design. b. The contractor is required to take the construction of the water-stabilizing base of the trail seriously. The thickness and compaction of water stabilizers must meet the requirements of design and construction specifications. c. Each migrant worker team of the contractor responsible for the construction of sidewalk bricks will conduct a 50m test section, and formal construction will be carried out only after passing the supervision acceptance.
4) Measures to ensure barrier-free design of trails. a. The supervisor will formulate requirements documents for the barrier-free design and construction of the trail and issue them to the contractor for execution. b. During the paving construction of sidewalk bricks, the supervisor will pay close attention to whether the contractor's construction is standardized and correct any problems in a timely manner. c. Before the construction of the sidewalk bricks, the supervision will require the construction unit to provide the location design of the crosswalk at the intersection to facilitate the construction of a barrier-free trail at the intersection.
