What if the valve leaks?

If the valve leaks, first close the main valve, remove the faucet handle, replace the ceramic valve core, and then reassemble.

Material preparation: new valve core, screwdriver, adjustable wrench.

1, preliminary preparation

The faucet in the bathroom is controlled by a water valve. We found the tap in the bathroom and turned it off. If there is no tap water valve, you need to turn off the main water valve at home.

2. Remove the faucet handle.

You can usually see a plastic label with hot and cold labels under the faucet handle. We can pry the hot and cold labels off and look at the handle fixing screws. Next, we insert the screwdriver into the hot and cold standard hole and turn the fixing screw to the left. Finally, we hold the faucet handle with one hand and pull it up, and hold the screwdriver with the other hand, knock the faucet on the screwdriver handle and remove the faucet handle.

3. Replace the ceramic valve core

After the faucet handle is removed, we can see the net cover. Turn the net cover to the left to take it out. Below the mesh cover is a hexagonal sleeve end cover for fixing the ceramic valve core.

We clamp the wrench on the end cover of the hexagonal sleeve and turn the wrench to rotate the hexagonal sleeve. At this time, we can take down the worn ceramic valve core, put the new ceramic valve core in place, put it in the hexagonal sleeve and tighten it.

Step 4 assemble the faucet

We screw the end cover of the faucet into the main body, then put the handle of the faucet in and tighten the fixing screw, and then insert the hot and cold label into the small hole under the faucet. Finally, we turn on the faucet to reduce the water leakage.

What should I do if the faucet gasket leaks?

1. Turn off the water supply, remove the small screw on the faucet, then remove the handle that fixes the faucet body, clamp the button or plastic piece in the handle, and then open the button to see the screw in the handle.

2. Remove the handle and you can see the parts inside the faucet. Remove the packing nut with a tool, taking care not to damage the remaining metal, and unscrew the rotating valve core and shaft inside.

3. Take out the screw that fixes the washing machine. In order to facilitate the operation, we can loosen the screws by infiltrating lubricating oil. Check the internal screws and valve core, and replace them in time if they are damaged. It is recommended to replace exactly the same parts, so as to ensure that the faucet does not drip.

4. Fix the new electric coil on the valve core, reinstall all components, rotate the valve core clockwise, install the packing nut, and then open the gate for inspection.
