The full text of Amitabha Sutra 1858 words.

The Amitabha Sutra is a classic told by Sakyamuni Buddha with 16 disciples including Elder Sharifutsu and Manjusri Bodhisattva in the South Garden of Saro Acropolis. The main contents of the Amitabha Sutra are in three aspects, which introduces the western paradise in detail and all kinds of extraordinary achievements in reporting the world to the world, so that all living beings have confidence and belief in the pure land method of chanting Buddha.

The Buddha told the venerable Sharifutsu that in the west of our world, there is a world called Elysium after passing through 10 trillion Buddha lands. In that world, there is a Buddha named Amitabha. It's being said now, Purdue sentient beings. In this world, there are seven rafters, seven nets, seven trees, seven treasure ponds, Ba Ding Shui, four-color lotus flowers, seven treasure pavilions and golden fields, all made of seven treasures.

When the wind blows clean, it is often paradise. Birds sing together, and all beings play French sounds. When they hear voices, they all want to read Buddha, Dharma and Monk. He also said: when the breeze blows, trees and nets make subtle sounds, such as hundreds of kinds of music, and all of them are made at the same time. Those who hear the sound naturally have the heart to read Buddha, dharma and monk.

Extended data

Amitabha Sutra and Ode to the Pure Land Buddha are actually two classics, not different versions of one. Just like the Buddha's "Infinite Life Sutra" and "Da Bao Ji Sutra", it is what the Buddha said at different dharma meetings, so that different people can hear the dharma.

Judging from the contents of these two classics, there are fundamental differences. This is actually what the Buddha said at two different dharma meetings. Because the roots of the sentient beings who participated in the two dharma meetings were different, the contents of the Buddha's speech were also different. You can't simply and directly compare two classic sentences, you can only choose what you like to accept.

Since these two scriptures were handed down by the Buddha at the same time, there must be his intention. Taking the two classics as a whole has the same nature of reading and gathering infinite life classics, which is a disguised tampering with the meaning of classics.

The threshold of the practice of Ode to the Pure Land Buddhist Scripture is higher, because it is necessary to be able to think about the Buddha's name and the incredible realm of pure land merit. Holding a name is relatively easy to get started. Therefore, in the Amitabha Sutra, there are indispensable good roots, blessings and karma, but in the praise of the pure land Buddha, there is no requirement for blessings and karma.

Because people who can understand the incredible merits of the Buddha's pure land, even a penny, must be blessed, and because they can be protected by the Buddha's pure land, there is no need to ask about karma. Just as a bodhisattva can meditate without meditation, so can voice.
