How to assemble and disassemble wheels correctly

Remove the tire.

1. Loosen the tire bolts that need to be replaced in diagonal order with a socket wrench and rotate them by about 90 degrees.

Just loosen the tire bolts slightly.

In practice, we found that changing tires is really a manual work, and it is difficult to unscrew them by hand, so we can only rely on our feet to help. It is worth noting that when tightening bolts, we must follow the diagonal way to avoid uneven stress and deformation of fasteners. The premise of screwing bolts is to screw bolts in the right direction, otherwise it will be in vain, so it is also important to know the threads of automobile bolts. )

Note: the bolts of ordinary family cars are all right-handed threads, and the bolts can be loosened by pulling the wrench counterclockwise. However, some minibuses or off-road vehicles may use left-handed bolts, so it is necessary to pull the wrench clockwise.

2. Lift the jack and lift the tire slightly off the ground.

First, lift the jack to a suitable height by hand, and pay attention to the jacking position consistent with the vehicle identification point. (There are indication positions of jacks on both sides of the tire, which is easy to find. As shown in the figure, different models indicate in different ways. ) Adjust the jack so that the vehicle stress column falls on the jack slot. The bottom of the jack should be attached to the ground smoothly, connect the kit, rotate clockwise, and jack up the vehicle until the tire is about 2 cm off the ground.

3. Unscrew the bolt and unload the tire.

Lift the tire slightly off the ground with a jack and unscrew the bolt.

When the tire is slightly off the ground, you can unscrew all bolts with a socket wrench. However, the square bolt must be removed first. When the last upper bolt is left, put your foot or hand on the tire, then remove the bolt and put it under the vehicle to prevent accidents.

Install spare tire

1. Transpose the removed tire with the spare tire, and then tighten the four screws by hand until they can't be tightened by hand.

The removed tire is transposed with the spare tire.

Install the spare tire, adjust the angle to the bolt hole, and install the top bolt first. Hold the tire with your hands or feet, install the remaining bolts, and apply force with the sleeve to prevent the tire from shaking.

2. Lower the jack until the tire lightly touches the ground, and tighten the screw with a socket wrench, as shown in the figure.

Tighten the screws with a socket wrench as shown in the figure.

Tighten the wheel locking bolts in the order of 1-2-3-4-5 as shown in the figure (if it is a four-wheel hub, it can be in diagonal order). Never screw the screws clockwise or counterclockwise in turn, but it is best to keep the number of turns of each screw consistent when screwing the screws to ensure that the screws are evenly stressed.

The last step is to pack the replaced faulty tires, vehicle tools and warning signs to complete the whole tire replacement procedure. At the same time, remember to send the faulty tire for repair in time.

Feeling and summary of changing spare tire;

1, be sure to check and maintain the spare tire regularly to ensure that it can be used normally at critical times.

2. When using the jack, be sure to put it under the label to avoid tilting accident.

3. Before installing the spare tire, it is best to put the removed tire under the car to avoid accidents.

4. When tightening the screws, tighten them diagonally. Never twist them in sequence.

5. The maximum speed of the non-full-size spare tire cannot exceed 80 km/h..
