Chapter 1: Experience of sketching outside
Experience of sketching in Taihang Mountain
In order to enrich our color knowledge and sketching techniques, our Fashion College organized us to participate in the ninth week of the semester. I went out to sketch in the Taihang Mountains in Anyang City, Henan Province.
At seven o’clock in the morning on April 8, a group of us set off from the dormitory with drawing boards and snacks, and gathered in front of the globe at the school gate. At eight o’clock, we set off for our destination. land. The three-hour journey was bumpy, but we didn’t feel any pain at all. We were excited all the way. On the way to Taihang, we witnessed the beauty of the mountains because we were walking on a winding mountain road. Looking out the car window through the car window, what a beautiful mountain. The mountains are so high. Looking down, it feels like we are on the top of the mountain. The clouds and mist at the foot of the mountain are shrouded, as if we are in a fairyland. The students can't help but take out their mobile phones. I took a lot of shots outside with my camera. After three hours of bumpy ride, we finally arrived at our destination. Before arriving, the leader of the team, Mr. Wang, contacted us in advance to pick us up. After getting off the bus, we could see mountains everywhere as far as the eye could see. We were in the mountains. in the arms of. Then the person in charge took us to the place where we stayed. Eight of us lived in one room. The beds there were bunk beds just like the dormitory. After everything was settled, we discovered that there was only one toilet here, and one for dozens of people. , you have to wait in line for a long time. But it’s nothing. Facing such beautiful mountain scenery, these are nothing. There was still an hour before dinner, so we decided to walk around and feel the atmosphere of the mountains. The girls in our dormitory and the few boys in the class went out together. Not far away, we found a stream. The water was so clear, so we took off our shoes and ran barefoot on the stones in the stream. , because I didn’t bring extra clothes, the fantasy of having a water fight was shattered, and we even took photos later. There are also people painting and sketching in the upper part of the stream. When we went back to eat, we still admired it there. To be honest, I was very envious of the oil painting students who could use the brushes and paints in their hands to retain the colors of the mountains, but then I thought about it. Nothing, we can also use our way - sketching.
We have dinner on time at 12 o'clock. The lunch meal is white rice with five kinds of dishes, which is quite rich. After dinner, we found a place nearby to sketch by ourselves. We rented bicycles and went to Bingbingbei to visit the legendary sights. Then we saw that there were no good scenery on the road for sketching. The man set off with his sketchpad. There are uphill climbs all the way to Bingbingbei, which is very tiring! We walked for more than two hours. Fortunately, the scenery along the way was beautiful, and there were many trees in bloom. What was more important was our yearning and persistence for Bingbingbei. When we came back, everyone was so happy. It was going downhill all the way. You didn't even need to step up, just tighten the brakes. It took us more than two hours to go there, but it only took us twenty minutes to come back. We felt the wind blowing on our faces, and our hair was blown back.
The next day, our teacher organized us to go to the Peach Blossom Valley tourist attraction. After entering the scenic spot, we saw a pool of water and a waterfall not far away. Everyone rushed to take the waterfall and pool as the background. Photograph. I have to say that the water in Peach Blossom Valley is so clear! Everyone walked on the one-way road artificially erected on the cliff. The one-way road was really scary. It was made of steps made of steel bars. The various wonders and strange sights along the way were amazing. The biggest feeling about Peach Blossom Valley is that there is a lot of water! And it is very clear and beautiful water. And our art must be as flowing and spotless as water, and at the same time, it must be as stable and have a solid foundation. The various scenery on the road made us marvel at the miraculous craftsmanship of nature. On the way we passed the more famous Jiulian Waterfall, which consists of nine waterfalls. The source is a large waterfall, and then there are eight more waterfalls. After passing Jiulian Waterfall, we visited the entire Peach Blossom Valley. Because the path in the valley was quite difficult and dangerous, we didn’t have time to draw. After leaving the valley
everyone took out their drawing boards and brushes, trying to retain this beautiful scenery with their own pens. Painting landscapes here has tempered my timid character. I used to dare not paint in crowded places because I was afraid that others would see my paintings, which made me very unsure of myself. But when I saw that my classmates were all drawing, I took out my drawing board and pen and started drawing. A visitor came over a while later and after looking at it, I didn’t dare to write anything. Before he left, he said, "The little girl painted well." This gave me confidence. Although I was still a little timid, I finally had some confidence in myself. I believe that this seed of confidence will slowly grow after taking root in my heart. At noon, we had lunch at the resting place. The boss of the place where we stayed drove us along the winding mountain road. Everyone was holding a bowl and a pair of chopsticks. Eating in this kind of mountainous area has a unique flavor.
After that, we all went hiking together to the Tai Chi Ice Mountain. The hardships of the journey did not make us give up. We talked and laughed on the way, and the journey was not so boring. This time not only tempered our will, but also enhanced our friendship.
Actually, at the beginning, some people didn’t understand why we came to this kind of mountain. Aren’t we studying fashion design? Should we go to places with special clothing culture or clothing conferences in first-tier cities? Forgive my ignorance. After today, I understand that the mountains have given us a lot of inspiration, especially our freshman students. We are all still young. This sketching exercised our will, strengthened our confidence, and enhanced our friendship. It also made us understand a lot. The reason why the mountains are majestic is because they have deep foundations. The reason why the streams are clear is because they are constantly flowing and renewing. And so are we! This sketching not only cultivated our sentiments, but also gave us the most important things in life.
It was the last day of sketching. We had only one day left, so we rented bicycles and set off to Wangxiangyan together again. After arriving, because the tickets were too expensive, we did not go in and spent money at the door. I sketched for a while and then rode my bike around again. Before we knew it, it was time to go back. We were reluctant to leave here, carrying our bags with the souvenirs we sold. After we got in the car, just when we were about to set off, it started to rain lightly. Are those the tears you shed because you couldn't bear to see us? ——Taihang Mountain
Chapter 2: Summary of outdoor sketching activities
The weather was sunny and cloudless. Looking at such good weather, I couldn’t help but think it was a good sign! The whole team gathered at Beilei at 1:30 pm. After the assembly, we walked to Li Lisan's former residence. We were led by three teachers along the way. The leader of the group was a teacher who led everyone in the direction of Li Lisan’s former residence. There was a teacher at the end of the group who was responsible for taking photos, and a teacher in the middle of the group to protect their safety while walking on the road.
When we first set out, none of them could restrain their enthusiasm and excitement about going out to sketch. They kept asking the teacher, what is sketching? What is sketching for? Is sketching fun? The teacher answered patiently. They were talking and laughing along the way. When they passed the national highway bridge, they even shouted excitedly: "Railway, train!" It’s not that they scream because they haven’t seen a train before, it’s just that the pleasure of going out and sketching gives them a sense of novelty when they see things that they don’t usually see often. Walking under the archway of Li Lisan Village, this area is quieter and more leisurely without the noise, bustle and whistles of the busy city.
After walking for about 30 minutes, we arrived at the former residence of Li Lisan. Looking up, a wide and flat square comes into view. Not far from the square, there is an oval platform with stone tables and chairs for tourists to rest.
So are the big trees around it. Lush and green, it looks very comfortable. After walking around the platform, you can see the yellow wall, the eight-character firewood gate, and the inscription "Tarot Garden" on the forehead. The couplet on the door is "Spring flowers and autumn fruits, the sun rises and the moon stays forever". The main house is 15 meters after entering Chaimen. The stone inscription on the front door is inscribed "former residence of Comrade Li Lisan" by the former General Secretary of the Central Committee. From the front hall of the former residence through the patio is the main hall. On the front wall and table, there is a bust of Li Lisan. There are four symmetrical rooms on both sides of the left side hall, which are the bedrooms of Li San, his parents and younger siblings. The right-hand building and housing are now auxiliary exhibition rooms, displaying more than 230 objects, photos, and written materials, introducing Comrade Li San's hard-working achievements throughout his life. Lead the children to visit the former residence and learn about the historical deeds of the great revolutionary ancestor Li Lisan.
We came to the stage in front of our former residence to prepare for sketching. These 18 people were divided into two teams. The drawing content of the sketch class was the main entrance titled "Tarot Garden". The viewing angle is arbitrary and the composition is reasonable. The younger creative class is led by me. The content of sketching is colorful leaves. They use a game to introduce the game and let them compete to find leaves to see who has a unique and novel shape. After that, I guided them to observe the structure and appearance characteristics of leaves, and demonstrated and analyzed how to use dots, lines, surfaces or patterns to decorate leaf veins. The demonstration is only half completed, and the remaining part is completed by the students to test their mastery of new knowledge. Finally, the children draw independently and are guided by the teacher. The whole atmosphere was relaxed and happy, and the children were very happy to complete the work. The sketching class was especially amazing, and the overall effect was great! The children in the creative class have also made great progress in the composition of dots, lines and surfaces, and some have made rapid progress in color and creativity. It was a very rewarding sketching session, not only for the teacher, but also for the children.
Time passed quickly, looking into the distance, the sun was setting. The setting sun seemed to remind us that it was time to go home. The whole couple gathered together and took a group photo in front of the "Taro Garden"... This sketching came to a successful conclusion. Afterwards, children whose parents pick them up will go home with their parents. Those whose parents do not pick them up will be brought back to school by their teachers and their parents will be notified to pick them up. The aftermath work was also very satisfactory.
I still have many shortcomings in this sketching, and my adaptability and adaptability also need to be improved. The school gave us the opportunity to go out for sketching. By taking advantage of this opportunity, we learned and understood a lot, including professional and non-professional matters.
Our practical teaching this time is of great significance to cultivating creative artistic talents. Sketching has enabled me to have a better understanding of this course, improve my artistic accomplishment and aesthetic ability, find beauty in the ordinary, and make beautiful paintings of natural scenery and environment. Refining and cultivating the observation and perception of natural scenery and environment; strengthening the spirit of unity and cooperation; the feeling of beauty has also been improved, and a new understanding of the picture has been gained.
Due to various constraints, I lacked the experience of sketching outside. I would like to thank the school for providing this opportunity. Sketching left many beautiful memories. The day of sketching was a beautiful day, and it was also an unforgettable day for me, my teachers and my classmates.
Chapter 3: Reflections on life drawing
With the bright sunshine, our college organized a 12-day outing life drawing course. In the early morning of March 31st, the students got up early, got ready, and with anticipation and mood, we boarded the train to Sichuan. There was no fatigue along the way, but more excitement and excitement; curiosity and expectation, with fantasy and excitement, chatting and laughing with the teacher. The warm atmosphere was unforgettable... After more than a dozen After hours of hard work, we finally arrived in the beautiful city of China - Sichuan.
This sketching activity made me fall in love with this beautiful city. I believe that when I graduate on the day I look back, I will clearly remember this rare opportunity to get along with my classmates and teachers. It is also the last large-scale organized activity in university life.
First of all, we went to Chongqing. It is one of the four central municipalities in China, one of the important central cities in China, a national historical and cultural city in China, the economic center in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River in China, an important modern manufacturing base in China, and a very large city in southwest China that coordinates urban and rural areas. . Chongqing is located in the southwest of inland China and on the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. It is a multi-center cluster city. The city is built on the mountains and is known as the "Mountain City"; it is also an important industrial town in the interior of China and is also known as the "Fog City". Because the Jialing River in the territory was called Chongqing River in ancient times, it was shortened to Chongqing. On March 14, 1997, the Fifth Session of the Eighth National People's Congress approved the establishment of Chongqing as the fourth central municipality in China and the only municipality in central and western China.
Chongqing is surrounded by water on three sides and backed by mountains on one side. It is built on the mountains, with stacked buildings and winding roads. The city has a very unique style, and it also has a unique night view of the mountain city. First, thanks to its undulating mountains and the buildings built on the mountains, whenever night falls and the lights come on, the lights of thousands of houses reflect each other, like a sky full of stars, which is extremely magnificent; second, thanks to the confluence of the two rivers, The twin bridges are adjacent. Hundreds of boats compete for the current in the river, and the water is full of colors; the bridge is colorful and moving like a swimming dragon. This stillness and one movement, movement and stillness are appropriate. Every first night, with the lighting cluster in the bustling area as the theme, and the lighting on the main roads and bridges as the link, the lights of thousands of houses form a sea of ??lights that are high and low, well-proportioned, and reflect each other far and near. Vehicles and boats shuttled through the vast sea of ??lights, vaguely bringing out the sounds of horns, whistles, laughter and singing, adding infinite dynamics and vitality to Yeshan City.
Before coming to Chongqing, I always heard that Chongqing’s hot pot is delicious. This time I finally got to eat authentic hot pot. The most impressive thing when I came to Chongqing was the Chongqing Three Gorges Museum. The main building of the China Three Gorges Museum in Chongqing is majestic and profound. Except for the front, which maintains the trinity with the People's Square and the People's Auditorium, the rest of the building is built according to the terrain and is integrated with the mountain. It combines the height difference of the terrain with the enclosure and semi-enclosure of the building to present a landscape-themed garden landscape. , the stretching and gently changing volume seems to be grown and carved out of the mountain. The overall layout of the China Three Gorges Museum in Chongqing uses the east-west symmetry axis of the Great Hall of the People as the main axis, and connects the People's Square with the main building of the museum through a gestalt. On the main axis, the Great Hall of the People, the People's Square, and the museum are integrated into one. , relax and relax freely, forming a "trinity" four-dimensional effect (including the behavioral movement of the crowd). The integrated graphics of the People's Square and the museum are connected by a giant pipa pattern. Looking west from the Great Hall of the People at the east end, the glass roof of the main body of the museum looks like a red sun rising from the water (front pool) and the mountains (exhibition hall mountain
stone-shaped) under the sunlight. Out of vitality. Looking east from the West End Museum, the Great Hall of the People is surrounded by the harmonious curves of the People's Square, showing the historical dialogue between the museum and the Great Hall of the People, two landmark buildings in different periods. The People's Square has become an excellent place for dialogue. This kind of The lively and humorous dialogue not only emphasizes the humanistic care of history and society, but also demonstrates the Chongqing people's longing for the future.
The second stop we went to was Chengdu. Chengdu is rich in products and has been known as the "Land of Abundance" since ancient times. On February 15, 1982, Chengdu became one of the first batch of national historical and cultural cities. Chengdu adheres to the "four-in-one" overall scientific development strategy and has now become a central city in the western region, a political, commerce, science and technology, communications, culture, education, transportation, economic, military and financial center in the western region, enjoying the reputation of "Heart of the Western Region". The overall positioning of Chengdu to promote leading development, scientific development, and good and fast development is to become the "core growth pole of the western economy". The key is to implement "transportation first", "industrial doubling", "establish a good city", " "Three circles in one" and "all-area opening" are the "five major strategies for revitalizing the city."
What impressed me most in Chengdu was the Giant Panda Breeding Base. Pandas are my country’s national treasure and are only found in Sichuan Province, so I was very excited. At the right time, we went to the Red Panda Villa. Those cute little raccoons saw us and seemed to be greeting us. They all came out and "waved" to us. While walking, I encountered pandas having lunch, and I saw them enjoying their food in an innocent manner. The most interesting thing is that there is a giant panda eating lunch while leaning against a tree. It holds the bamboo in its hand and eats it piece by piece like we eat sugar cane. It first tears off the outer skin of the bamboo with its mouth, and then "clicks" the tender bamboo in the middle, eating it with gusto. When it finished eating the bamboo in its hand, it didn't even move its body. It picked up the bamboo next to it and continued to eat. The bamboo skin fell on it, and it was unwilling to stand up and pat the garbage. This lazy giant panda made everyone laugh.
We also saw giant pandas fighting and playing with each other. Because they are fat and their movements are slow, they are very cute. The entire breeding base is very large and the environment is beautiful. Made of bamboo forests and hills, giant pandas live in this quiet place. Due to my limited time, I have not taken a closer look at the Giant Panda Breeding Base this time. I believe that I will have the opportunity to go to Chengdu again in the future and go to the Giant Panda Breeding Base again.
This sketching life is worth remembering and remembering. In these short 12 days, everything I experienced will be distant and beautiful memories.
