Eight methods and five steps of national standard

The eight laws and five steps in the national standard are a part of the "Thirteen Tendencies of Taiji". There are thirteen laws, which are what we usually say: giving up, hitting, squeezing, pressing, picking, slapping, elbowing, leaning, advancing, retreating, protecting, looking and deciding.
