Therefore, the location of Qin Shihuang's mausoleum is not a secret at all. Sima Qian's "Historical Records of the First Qin Emperor" clearly records: "In September, he was buried in Lishan Mountain."
Li Daoyuan's Notes on Water Classics also said: "The first Qin Emperor was buried, and a tomb was built on Rongrong Mountain. A Lantian was rich in gold and beautiful in jade. The first emperor was greedy for his good name, so he was buried. "
It can be seen that the mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor is at the foot of Mount Li in the south of Lintong District, Xi, Shaanxi Province, near Xianyang, the capital of Qin State at that time. The Terracotta Warriors were discovered in the 20th century 1974.
1974 in March, farmers from xiyang village, Lishan Town, Lintong County, found several broken clay figurines while drilling wells near the mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor. After exploration and trial excavation by the Shaanxi Provincial Archaeological Team, it was found to be the Terracotta Warriors in the tomb of Qin Shihuang. In July of that year, archaeologists began to excavate the pit of Qin Terracotta Warriors on the east side of Qin Shihuang Mausoleum in Lintong County, Shaanxi Province, and the Terracotta Warriors began to see the light of day again.
After the reform and opening up, with the continuous excavation of terracotta warriors and horses pits, the area is getting bigger and bigger, and the number of terracotta warriors and horses is increasing. At the same time, as the tourism fever continues to heat up, more and more people come to visit, and the villagers at the foot of Lishan Mountain are getting richer and richer. As a result, a couplet was quickly circulated in the local area: "Turn over and never forget the party, and get rich by Qin Shihuang."
The construction of Qin Shihuang's mausoleum has an extremely complicated process.
Ying Zheng/Kloc-succeeded to the throne at the age of 0/3, proclaimed himself emperor at the age of 39, and reigned for 37 years. In these 37 years, he has been building his own mausoleum, and some projects were not completed even until his death, which is known from the unearthed terracotta warriors and horses, and some areas have not been completed.
No one has ever been inside Qin Shihuang's mausoleum, so I don't know, but according to relevant literature records, the underground palace of Qin Shihuang's mausoleum is all watered with aragonite and copper juice, and the underground palace is decorated with pearls and jade. Take the night pearl as the sun and moon, mercury as the river, whale oil as the ever-burning lamp, and gold and silver as the birds and animals.
It can be seen that the Mausoleum of Qin Shihuang is an underground palace with grand planning, solid building and luxurious decoration. Not only strong and majestic, but also heavy organs. In the pyramid-shaped mound of Qin Shihuang's mausoleum, there are all organs, up and down, left and right, and stab in the back everywhere. Once someone goes in, they will touch the mechanism and the arrow will explode and catch fire. People were shot dead by arrows before they could get in.
At the same time, there are many secrets and institutions to build the imperial tomb. If the person who built it goes out, the secret is not a secret, and the organ is not an organ, which may make people get in, which leaves a hidden danger for grave robbery.
Therefore, after Qin Shihuang was buried, in order to prevent those craftsmen from leaking secrets, according to Qin Shihuang's original arrangement, as soon as the mausoleum was completed, all craftsmen who entered the underground palace were sealed in the pyramid-shaped mound, and all exits were sealed, and they and the secrets built were buried in the pyramid-shaped mound.
This is why the mausoleum of Qin Shihuang is rarely excavated.
