No-load trial run of conveyor for 2 hours. During the operation, the conveyor belt should not slip or run off, and run smoothly. There should be no friction and impact between the moving parts and the machine body. Treatment of belt deviation: In order to solve this kind of fault, attention should be paid to the dimensional accuracy of installation and daily maintenance. There are many reasons for deviation, which need to be treated differently according to different reasons.
1. When the belt of the belt conveyor carrying the idler group deviates in the middle of the whole belt conveyor, adjust the position of the idler group to adjust the deviation; During manufacturing, the mounting holes on both sides of the idler gear set are machined into long holes for adjustment. The specific adjustment method is to which side the belt deviates, which side of the idler group moves forward along the direction of belt advancement, and the other side moves backward. As shown in figure 1, if the belt deviates upward, the lower position of the idler gear set should move to the left and the upper position of the idler gear set should move to the right.
2. Installation of self-aligning roller sets There are many types of self-aligning roller sets, such as intermediate shaft type, four-bar type and vertical roller type. Its principle is to prevent the belt from rotating in the horizontal plane or generating lateral thrust to automatically center the belt, so as to achieve the purpose of adjusting the belt deviation. Generally, it is more reasonable to adopt this method when the total length of the belt conveyor is short or the belt conveyor runs in both directions, because the shorter belt conveyor is more prone to deviation and difficult to adjust. It is best not to use this method for long belt conveyor, because the use of self-aligning idler groups will have a certain impact on the service life of the belt.
