At that time, Zhang Taihou (Empress Injong) was wise and virtuous, and entrusted political affairs to the Cabinet. Yang Shiqi, Yang Rong and Yang Pu, assistant ministers of the Cabinet, were all elders of several dynasties, fearing that they would not dare to be violent. In the seventh year of orthodoxy, the empress dowager collapsed, and Yang Rong died first. Yang Shiqi can't be an official because his son is sentenced to death. Yang Pu is old and sick, and the new cabinet assistants Ma Yu and Cao Fu are weak. Wang Zhen is so arrogant and out of control.
In view of the loss of eunuch intervention in politics, Ming Taizu placed a three-foot-high iron plate at the palace gate, with the words "I shall not interfere in political affairs" cast on it, which is still preserved today during the reign of Xuande. This iron monument has always been a thorn in Wang Zhen's side. When he came to power, he sent someone to steal it. Since then, Wang Zhen has built a large-scale mansion in the eastern part of the imperial city and a Zhihua Temple. With Lu chuan's army, the resentment of the whole southwest people boiled. In the eighth year of orthodoxy (1443), the kiss in Fengtian Temple was knocked down by lightning, and Liu Qiu wrote to the emperor to state the gains and losses, mocking Wang Zhen with language. Wang Zhen put Liu Qiu in prison and ordered Jin Yiwei to order Ma Shun to dismember and kill him. Dali Shao Qing Xue Xuan and Li Shimian, who offered a drink, always ignored Wang Zhen, who found the fault and framed Xue Xuan and almost killed him. Wang Zhen once declared in imperial academy that he hated Li Shimin for not saluting. He flailed Li Shimin on the pretext of cutting down trees at the gate of imperial academy. Li Yan accepted the offerings from Guanglu Temple. Seeing that Wang Zhen didn't bow down, he offended Wang Zhen and was sent to Tieling garrison. In July of the ninth year of orthodoxy (1444), Wei Shijing, the capital of Xu, humiliated Lu Bao, the eunuch of the family. Wang Zhen hated Shi Jin for despising his own kind and sent him to the court. North Korean ministers who rebelled against Wang Zhen and were hated by him were convicted and demoted.
Yingzong was so impressed with Wang Zhenpei that he once called him Mr. The letter to Wang Zhen is very beautiful. Wang Zhen's power is increasing day by day, and all the princes and nobles in North Korea call him Weng Fu. Ministers who were afraid of disaster scrambled to cling to Wangzhen to avoid death, and bribes gathered in Wang Zhenfu. Wang You, a doctor of the Ministry of Industry, was promoted to assistant minister of the Ministry of Industry because he was good at flattery. Xu Xu, Minister of the Ministry of Industry, and others even knelt down and bowed. His nephews Wang Shan and Wang Lin, because of his shadow, were placed under the command of the viceroy, and the private parties Ma Shun, Guo Jing, Chen Guan and Tang Tong ran amok without scruple. At this point, the ancestral precept that eunuchs should not interfere in politics was completely destroyed, and the first eunuch group was formed in the Ming Dynasty.
In July of the fourteenth year of orthodoxy, Mongwa attacked first, and Wang Zhenli urged Ming Yingzong to personally expedition. In August of the same year, the Ming army was besieged in the civil fort, and Yingzong was killed in the north (a euphemism for captured), which is known as the civil change in history. General Fan Zhong killed Wang Zhen in the disorderly army and said, "I will punish this thief for the world!" "The defeated battle report was sent to the court, and the ministers asked Wang Zhen to be ruled by his family. His henchmen Ma Shun, Wang and Mao Ershi were all killed by courtiers at that time. Chen Yi, the capital's suggestion, ordered Zhu Qiyu, King Xi, to confiscate his home. This year, Wang Zhen's nephew Wang Shan was executed, and his family, no matter how long, were beheaded. Wang Zhen's property is distributed in several places inside and outside the capital, including more than 20 coral plants six or seven feet high, more than 60 loads of gold and silver treasures, and countless coins, silks and jewels.
Wang Zhen Group was the first eunuch in Ming Dynasty, which had a far-reaching influence on the history of Ming Dynasty. The civil changes they caused led to the capture of the emperor, the invasion of the Central Plains by the Walla army, the shock of the capital and the fear of the people. The Ming dynasty, which was founded only 80 years ago, is in direct danger of collapse. In addition, eunuchs in Wang Zhen began to collude with ministers inside and outside the imperial court, which led to the corruption of Chaogang, and officials fell into party struggle. After the death of Emperor Yingzong, Prince Zhu Jianshen acceded to the throne, changing the Yuan Dynasty into Chenghua and Xian Zong. In the 12th year of Chenghua (1477), Taoist Li Zilong became famous for his "Left Way". He climbed Wanshou Mountain to observe the Inner Palace, and was discovered by a captain of the Royal Guards. It is reported that Li Zilong had an intention to kill the king, so Li Zilong was executed. In order to prevent similar things from happening again, eunuch Wang Zhi was asked to choose a person from the Royal Guards to pretend to be a civilian and go out to watch.
In the 13th year of Chenghua, Xian Zong formally established the West Factory, and ordered eunuch Wang Zhi to spy on the foreign affairs of the imperial court. In February of the 13th year of Chenghua, Wei Ying, a confidant of Wang Zhi Royal Guards, accused Yang Ye, the great-grandson of Yang Rong, a British orthodox dynasty scholar, of having a huge fortune and often killing people, and wanted to recruit outlaws into the sea as thieves. Wang Zhi sent troops to command Yang Ye's property in Fujian, and the confession implicated Yang Shiwei, a minister of the Ministry of War, and Dong Zhuo, a minister of Zhongshu. They were all imprisoned and almost killed. In May of the same year, because Wang Zhi opened a western factory at that time, Luo Zhi had several prisons, and the people were very scared. Shang Lu, a college student, said that if he was invited to the West Factory, Wang Zhi would kill Wei Ying. And there was a dispute with Xianzong, who finally approved the dismissal and removed the West Factory. Demote Wei Ying to Fu Xuan to defend the border.
The abolition of the West Factory did not directly lead to the weakening of Wang Zhi's power, and soon Wang Zhi resumed his position as the Royal Horse Supervisor. In June of the same year, Yu Shi Dai Jin, Wang Yi and others could not be promoted for many years, so they attached themselves to Wang Zhi, and suggested that Wang Zhi be an official, "straightforward and fair", and "the trip to Wang Zhi can not only be a method for today, but also a method for the ages", requesting the restoration of the West Factory. Xian zong was overjoyed and returned to the West Factory. University students Shang Lu, Shangshu Xueyuan, Dong Fang and Zuodu Shi Yu Li Bin are all officials; Wang Yue, a member of Wang Zhi, was appointed as the minister of the Ministry of War and the suggestion of Zuodu. In November, his confidant was appointed as Dali Temple Cheng, Dai Jin was appointed as Shangbaosi, and later he was promoted to an imperial advisor. Wang Yi is the deputy envoy of Huguang.
In the 16th year of Chenghua (1480), Sun Bo was accused of impeaching the ministers of East Factory and West Factory. However, it was criticized by Xianzong. In March of the same year, Xian Zong ordered Wang Zhi, lord protector Zhu Yong and Shangshu Wang Yue to lead the troops out of the village and win the battle against Weining. Wang Yue named Weining Bo. In April of the same year, Liaodong patrolled the empire and impeached the eunuch Wang Zhi. The company commanders Hou Qian and the governor Chen Yue all missed the opportunity to hide. They were all played by Wu Yuan and Xu Jin, and compared Chen Yue to Huang Qianshan and Jia Sidao in the Song Dynasty. Xianzong sent a letter to punish Chen Yue's salary, so Chen Yue resented Wang Yue for being in charge of hospital affairs and conniving at Qiang Zhen. When Wang Zhi left Beijing, Chen Yue met him five miles away and sued Qiang Zhen for impeaching him on orders from the King of Yue. Wang Zhi was furious and Wang Yue came here, but Wang Zhi didn't see Wang Yue. Wang Zong, the governor of Liaodong, framed Qiangzhen as a fake, arrested Qiangzhen in Beijing, took him to the Royal Guards Prison and took him to Liaodong.
At that time, a thief crossed the imperial city and entered the Western Heaven. A captain of the East Factory arrested him, and the eunuch Shang Ming reported it. Xianzong was very happy and gave him a generous gift. Wang Zhi was furious after hearing this, and said that Shang Ming's work was excellent against his will. Shang Ming was afraid, so he secretly reported Wang Zhi's fault to Xian Zong. Xianzong was favored by Plum Province, Wanan colluded with Zhaode Palace to monopolize the political power, that is, Wang Zhi's immersion, so Xianzong gradually alienated Wang Zhi. In March of the eighteenth year of Chenghua, Ke Dao impeached the West Factory for harsh examination. Wan 'an also said that he would tear down the West Factory, but Liu Xie insisted. The officials inside and outside the imperial court rejoiced when Xian Zong actually removed the West Factory, but Liu Xie was ashamed. In August of the same year, because Wanan was afraid that Wang Zhi would be lured by Wang Yue, he requested to resume the use of Wang Yue and be transferred to guarding Yansui, and the viceroy Xu Ning took over the original post.
In the 19th year of Chenghua (1482), in June, he fell out with Xu Ning, the company commander, and Governor Guo bored the newspaper, and Xianzong was transferred to serve as the royal horse supervisor in Nanjing. In August of the same year, Xu Yong, an admonition officer, impeached Wang Zhi for cheating the monarch, and said, "Wang Zhi is closely related to Wang Yue and Chen Yue. Luo Zhi's article, which inspired Fu Wei, led the troops to the northwest and the people to the southeast. Everyone knew there was a western factory but didn't know there was a court, but he was afraid of Wang Zhi but didn't know he was afraid of your majesty. It will be chilling to gradually become wings. I implore your majesty to prescribe appropriate punishment, thinking that treacherous officials will form a ring of party power. " Xianzong deeply agreed, so he got rid of Wang Zhi, cut Wei Ningbo and Wang Yue, won the patent certificate and took charge of Anluzhou. Chen Yue, Minister of the Ministry of War, Dai Jin, Minister of the Ministry of Industry, and Jin Yiwei made Janice dismiss for the people.
Although Wang Zhi's good governance did not lead to the subversion of the good governance of Rainbow Zhen, the Ming regime, it created a precedent for eunuchs to collude with court officials through the police spy system. Liu Jin served Prince Zhu Houzhao during the reign of Xiaozong in Ming Dynasty. He knows how to cherish this rare opportunity, because he knows that the eunuch he serves day and night will be a hero, with power and wealth at his fingertips after the prince ascended the throne in the future. Therefore, Liu Jin tried every means to please the prince and serve the prince who was only a teenager at that time.
In the eighteenth year of Hongzhi (A.D. 1505), Emperor Xiaozong of Ming Dynasty died of illness and the Prince ascended the throne successfully. This is Ming Wuzong. Seven eunuchs, including Liu Jin, Ma Yongcheng and Gao Feng, were favored by the new emperor and were called "Eight Tigers". Liu Jin was the king of the Eight Tigers. Under the leadership of Liu Jin, these eunuchs strongly encouraged Wu Zong to have fun, but they acted arbitrarily and covered up the emperor's evil deeds. Liu Jin is most trusted by Wu Zong. He works in Neigong prison and is in charge of the elite guard in Beijing.
In the second year, the ministers who were worried about the country saw that Wu Zong was ignored by eunuchs and made suggestions in succession. At first, Wu Zong didn't listen until someone told him that the sky had changed and God was warning him. Wu Zong intends to demote Liu Jinxian to Nanking. But ministers insisted on killing this curse. In order to make the emperor make up his mind to get rid of Liu Jin, the ministers joined forces with the main officials of the capital at that time and prepared to persuade Wu Zong to kill Liu Jin the next day. But Jiao Fang, the official department minister, revealed the news to Liu Jin that night. Hearing this, Liu Jin was frightened to disgrace, and hurriedly called seven other people to cry and plead in front of Wu Zong overnight. Wu Zongnian remembered Liu Jin's loyal care before, pardoned them, and under their encouragement, put them in charge of Silijian, East Factory and West Factory respectively.
At that time, the prison was a very important official position in the inner palace. One eunuch was responsible for printing palms and eight or nine eunuchs were responsible for writing. When a hundred officials wrote to the emperor in the Ming Dynasty, they should first be sent to the cabinet, and the assistant minister of the cabinet would make a preliminary handling opinion, which was called a "ticket draft" and then submitted to the emperor for examination and approval. The emperor wrote instructions on the memorial with a brush, which was called "approving the red". Some emperors, if they are not diligent, let the eunuchs who are trusted by them write ghost letters, which makes it possible for eunuchs to run amok. In addition, the eunuchs in prison have incomparable privileges: conveying the will of the emperor. Sometimes the eunuch recorded the emperor's words, and then asked the cabinet to draft them, or the eunuch orally conveyed them to the relevant ministers. This system directly gave eunuchs the opportunity to tamper with the imperial edict. Liu Jin is the supervisor of Si Li Jian, which is an important capital for his arrogance.
After Liu Jin came to power, he lured Wu Zong to be arrogant and extravagant, and took the opportunity to specialize in state affairs. At that time, he was called "the emperor" and Wu Zong was the emperor. He rejected dissidents, and most honest officials in North Korea were persecuted by him. Liu Yu, Jiao Fang and other villains went to the door and became their henchmen. The concentration of power stimulated his greed. He used his power to corrupt. He suggested that Wu Zong order all provincial treasures to be thrown into the capital, where he embezzled a lot of silver. He openly took bribes and demanded bribes, engaging in power and money transactions. When officials from all over the country go to Beijing for pilgrimage, they all pay bribes to him. This is called "meeting ceremony". The cost is as high as 1200 yuan, and some are as high as 5,200 yuan. Some people had to lend money to the rich in Beijing in order to pay bribes, which was called "Beijing debt" at that time. All officials who are promoted and return to Beijing for debriefing should give him gifts. In addition, he also sent his cronies to work in the local area to collect money for them.
Liu Jin went further and further on the road of power, and finally went to usurp the throne in an attempt to seize power. But Liu Jin only wanted to dominate himself, but he didn't expect the other seven tigers to look at his words and deeds. Because it turned out that when they asked Liu Jin for power, Liu Jin refused to talk to them. Over time, the contradictions gradually intensified. In April of A.D. 15 10, Yang Yiqing, an imperial advisor of various sects, and Zhang Yong, one of the eunuchs of the Eight Tigers, went to quell the rebellion of King Anhua. After Yang Yiqing put down the rebellion, he consulted with the visiting troops to get rid of Liu's plan. After putting down the rebellion, Liu Jin's 17 major crimes were exposed when he reported the situation to Wuzong. Surprised, Wu Zong ordered Liu Jin to be arrested for interrogation. With the help of Li Dongyang, Ming Wuzong finally moved to kill his heart. The next day, I personally went out to copy Liu Jin's home. As a result, it was found that seals, jade belts and other prohibited things that were forbidden to be privately owned by ordinary people and officials. Two daggers were also found in the fan that Liu Jin often held. Since seeing the great anger, he finally believed the fact of Liu Jin's rebellion. Liu Jinquan has brought endless disasters to the country and people. After a joint trial, Liu Jin was sentenced to one year. In August of the same year, Liu Jin was punished and ended his sinful life. Liu Jin, who was full of evil, was sentenced to 3357 knives in three days: the executioner first cut 10 knife from his chest, then shouted at him for fear that he would faint, and then cut 10 knife when he woke up, and so on. The next day, Liu Jin could not help but die. On the third day, he continued to cut the body until he cut 3357 knives. After the execution, the small pieces of meat were bought and eaten by those who had eaten it.
After Liu Jin was punished, the remonstrator exposed his henchmen. A detailed list was made in Ming History: Cabinet members included Jiao Fang, Liu Yu and Cao Yuan. Shang Shuze, Zhang Cai, Liu Ji, Wang Chang, Liu Jing, Bi Heng, Zhang Ai, June, Liu Ying and Shan Li. Official assistant ministers Chai Sheng and Li Han, former ministers Han Fu, Ministry of War ministers Li Xunxue, Ministry of War ministers Lu Wan and Kyle, Ministry of Industry ministers Zhang Zilin, Ministry of Industry ministers Cui Yan, Ministry of Industry ministers Cheyenne, Ministry of Industry ministers Hu Liang, Ministry of Industry ministers Chang Lin, Ministry of Industry ministers Zhang Zhichun ... From this list, we can see all courtiers, from high-level to cabinet ministers, from Beijing to Nanjing.
