Who are the entrepreneurs?

Entrepreneurs include Ma Yun, Ma Huateng, Wang Jianlin and others.

In modern enterprises, entrepreneurs can be roughly divided into two categories. One category is business owner entrepreneurs, who are still engaged in business management as owners. The other is a professional entrepreneur employed by the owner. More often, entrepreneurs only refer to the first type, while the second type is called professional managers.

The task of an entrepreneur

The word entrepreneur comes from French and means to engage in. An entrepreneur is a person who is engaged in organization, management and bears business risks. The understanding of entrepreneurs can be traced back to the 18th century. French economist Cantillon R linked the risk-taking behavior in the economy with entrepreneurs. At the same time in Britain, the industrial revolution was evolving, and entrepreneurs played a significant role in the transformation of taking risks and freedom.

Linking entrepreneurs with the economy has long been regarded as a standard. In fact, before the 195s, most definitions and quotations of entrepreneurs came from economics.

Cantillon R. put forward the above statement. The famous French economist Baptista and the 2th century economic genius Schumpeter both discussed entrepreneurs and their influence on economic development. Therefore, the concept of "entrepreneur" was introduced by economists in the 18th century, and continues to attract the interest of economists in the 2th century.

At present, this word has become a synonym for free enterprise and capitalism, or at least a closely related word. Similarly, it is generally believed that entrepreneurs are the driving force of change, they bring creative ideas to enterprises and help them grow and make profits.
