Three generations of past life products. " The Infinite Life Sutra is very general and talks about bodhicitta. What is bodhicitta? There is no detailed explanation. There are ten kinds of Maitreya Bodhisattva here, and these ten kinds are bodhicitta, which are detailed and specific. We have ten kinds of hearts and have been firmly alive. Therefore, this paragraph is a supplementary explanation of Bodhisattva in the Infinite Life Sutra, which is more detailed than Guan Jing and Mahayana Belief. Mahayana belief theory talks about bodhicitta, which only talks about straightforwardness, deep heart and great compassion. Buddha talks about bodhicitta, but only talks about sincerity, deep heart and returning to the heart, which are brief and not detailed by Maitreya Bodhisattva here. This is what we must learn.

Buddha is always urging everyone to read Buddha and live in pure land, starting with Huayan Sutra and ending with Huayan Sutra. Bodhisattva and Bodhisattva wish Wang Dao bliss. So Elysium is real, and the decision is not false. If you don't believe me, this opportunity will slip away in front of you. It would be a pity to miss it face to face. To tell the truth, Goode often said that Mahayana teaching is so-called different from Yi Dao. Other practices are more difficult. Where is the difficulty? All Mahayana scriptures are difficult to walk, because it is too difficult for you to get rid of your worries, habits and karma. Not only this sutra, but also which Mahayana sutra did you slack off at last? What is the reason? Habits and troubles are too hard to break. Therefore, according to the general results, it is very rare to have one in ten thousand people.

This method, a purely sectarian method, is called Yi Dao. Where is the easy way? Don't break your worries and habits. It's simple. It's too easy for us. Today, we live and die in three areas. This is the only way we can go, and other methods can't. We must understand this clearly and don't miss this opportunity. In the study of pure patriarchal clan system, as long as you control and suppress your troubles, you don't have to stop. If you can suppress them, you can live. It is inconceivable to die in the western paradise, which is what the Buddha often said in the scriptures. Can the Ten Buddhas testify with Sakyamuni Buddha? You know, everything is not so unique.

Those who have these ten kinds of hearts decide not to be ordinary people or stupid bodhisattvas. If he is an ordinary person or a stupid bodhisattva, he can't express these ten kinds of hearts. "Bad husband", there is no good man in this world who can't be sent out. There is also a "troubled person", that is, a person who has many delusions and troubles, and he can't send them out. Therefore, if you can really send this heart, you will eliminate the karma. Trouble is karma, incompetence is karma, and stupidity is karma. As long as you have this heart, all your karma will be eliminated. We need to understand this truth. Although karma prevents us from being motivated, we really must be motivated. karma is helpless and will be lost. The question is whether you can stick to it. The key is this place.

Let's look at the following ten kinds of hearts. This is the real bodhicitta, that is, bodhicitta is implemented in our lives.

What a good 10 score. One is from all sentient beings, and it is from kindness and harmlessness.

This is easy to understand. Can you persist in showing compassion to all sentient beings? What sympathy? Great compassion, compassion plus a "big". The first is compassion, and the second is compassion. Kindness is happiness, sadness is pain. Besides, greatness means equality. In which all beings are treated equally. In modern terms, it is unconditional. People in the world are very kind to their children. Why? It's his child, conditional. He doesn't care if it's not his child. That compassion is not called great kindness. Great kindness is unconditional. Can you care for all sentient beings with unconditional love, love all sentient beings, help all sentient beings and decide not to hurt all sentient beings? Can you do it? Can you persist? If you can keep doing it, congratulations, you are really Bodhi. There are many people who practice pure land, and there are also many people who read the Infinite Life Sutra. They also read Bodhisattva every day and have always been single-minded. He still can't live, and he is still engaged in the six divisions in the wheel of karma. What is the reason? I read bodhicitta in my mouth, but I didn't read it out. Bodhisattva is not called by you. If you can't scream, scream! We should really care for all sentient beings and care for all sentient beings. "No harm", you must do it. You can really do it, sacrifice yourself for others, and you have to be good. What is great goodness? You will not die or become a Buddha. This interest, this great goodness, is incomparable to all interests in the world, and all good deeds are incomparable to this reward. The key is sincerity, respect and persistence. This is the first one.

Both of them stem from great compassion and are not forced.

Sadness is to solve all the sufferings of all sentient beings. We try our best to help him and help him unconditionally. The buddhas come like this, and so do the disciples of the buddhas. As disciples of the Buddha, we are selfish from the beginning, and we should consider whether we are kind or not before helping others. Where did you get the sympathy? You have completely violated the great compassion. You recite the Buddha a hundred thousand times a day, and Goode's sentence "It's no use shouting at your throat" is even worse. You must understand this. It is clear from the scripture that the previous generation, the middle generation and the next generation are all dedicated to bodhicitta. Unless you have been focused and have no bodhicitta, you can't go to life; In other words, if you really have bodhicitta, you can die without focusing all the time. Master Hu Yi told us in Solution that the first condition of death is to have faith and desire. After chanting Buddha and passing away, your taste in kung fu is determined by the depth of famous kung fu, which is taste; Can you decide whether to live in front of faith or not? Does the Bodhisattva believe or not? You have bodhicitta, you have the will to live, it doesn't matter if you are famous and shallow, you can live. Only then did I know that these ten kinds of hearts are important.

Therefore, if you really want to be sincere, there are too many benefits of self-sacrifice, so don't be selfish. You are selfish and hurt yourself. Although you got a little benefit, it was too little. Your enjoyment is only for a lifetime, and your life is only hot and cold for decades. Where can there be greater merit than living in the western paradise? Today, even if you are happy and comfortable, your activity space can't exceed the earth. This is the bitter point. You died in the western paradise, and your activity space is empty, full of dharma circles. How can it be compared? Can't be compared. To die in the western paradise, the activity space is not three thousand worlds, but the whole legal world. This extraordinary merit is just around the corner. We can get it. Why not? Why go to the six divisions in the wheel of fucking karma? Why do you have to live such a hard life? Therefore, the Buddha said here that it is fools who don't want to die, fools!

In Buddhism, the three people are willing to protect their hearts at the expense of life and happiness.

This teaches us to keep the dharma. How to protect Buddhism? Follow the teachings, follow the teachings is to protect the dharma. I'm not talking about keeping an eye on Buddhism for fear that others will destroy it. That's not what I meant. I have to do it myself, at all costs. I have no food today, I can't steal, I can't cheat, I'd rather starve to death than break the rules, let alone break the law. This was given to us by Buddhism. For example, I like to protect Buddhism even if I die. This is the teaching of the Buddha. You can't do it without determination and sacrifice. Hold on to Buddhism and stick to it. I will give up my life even if I encounter a disaster. If I give up my life, I will see Amitabha. So, people who are reasonable and know the truth, why not do it? It is very important never to do anything that goes against the teachings of the Buddha.

The four methods are superior to all methods and have no persistence.

"All Buddhism", including Buddhism and secular law, you should be able to bear it. Not only to endure, but also to "win patience", the most extraordinary patience, patience, patience for what? If you don't insist, just endure this. If you don't cling to all the laws in the world, it is wrong to cling to them. You must put up with this place. This is the real kung fu. The ancients often said that many practitioners accomplished nothing. Where did the problem occur? The so-called "see broken, can't stand", this is broken, see broken, can't stand, can't reach. Kung fu! Kung fu is to endure, to endure. In the law of this world, these technologies are changing with each passing day, and they are not tempted. In terms of food, clothing, housing and transportation, there are new styles and new faces every day. After reading it, I am not tempted, and I can bear it if I am not tempted. Both Buddhism and Buddhism should be tolerant. We should learn from the Diamond Sutra and say, "If you don't shoot, you won't move." That's what this sentence means.

Five is not greedy for profit, respectful.

This mistake has been mentioned many times before. The first big mistake is foster care. There are more than 20 kinds of mistakes, which will be mentioned later. There are too many mistakes in foster care, so remember. If you get fame, fame and benefits, you will achieve nothing in this life. You must see through it and let it go. There's nothing to miss. People all over the world talk about commemoration. What is there to commemorate? If you commemorate it, can you still walk out of the three realms? No, this is what we should be aware of. I used to like doing these things, and I also like to keep many things I like. Now I know that we can't go to Elysium if we go on like this, so we don't want anything now. They brought me photos. Look at them, master. You take it, I don't want it, you commemorate it, I don't want it. Don't do such stupid things again. Everything is like a dream. What is there to commemorate? Forget the past, why read it?

"Respect and respect" is what people all over the world like, and we don't ask for it. We want material things, and we want a clean and spotless heart. That's good. I don't have any worries or concerns in my heart. There are too many painful and worrying things in the world, and we need surgery to make it clean. If you have nothing to worry about, you have to feel at ease, and you really get "pure pleasure".

Seek Buddha's wisdom and never forget to lose heart in everything.

This is a Buddhist student. What do we want? All kinds of wisdom are three advantages and three bodhis of Ayom Doro. What we want is perfect wisdom, and this thing is real. Can you get perfect wisdom? What is perfection? What is perfection? That is, the so-called omniscient and omnipotent, past, present and future, the other side of this world, everything is accessible, called perfect wisdom. As soon as you listen, this is too difficult. The Buddha told us that this wisdom is the instinct of each of us, not from the outside, and that's what you are. Since you are there, you can get it, which means you can restore it. A?vagho?a, the Bodhisattva, told us in On Faith that "there is an inner awareness", which is inner awareness; I don't think there is nothing. What is this? Ignorance and worry, this thing has nothing. Of course, nothing can be broken and nothing can be restored. As long as you study hard according to Buddhist methods and theories, you can definitely break everything you don't have and completely restore what you have.

After living in the Western Heaven, although the troubles are not broken, the wisdom and virtue are almost the same as that of Amitabha. Where did this come from? What is the truth? The fundamental reason is that wisdom and virtue are innate. Amitabha created a fate for us and helped us develop. That's the reason. Only when you understand it will you believe it, and you will know that what the Buddha said in Amitabha Sutra and Infinite Life Sutra is not a lie, but reliable, and we can have confidence in him. Therefore, people who study Buddhism are obsessed with seeking wisdom, seeking perfect wisdom and nothing else. That's right.

Seventh, respect for all sentient beings.

This is very important. As we all know, people born in the western paradise practice Pu Xian. The Infinite Life Sutra tells us at the beginning that "the sage * * * inherits the virtue of Master Pu Xian", so the western paradise is the dharma realm of Bodhisattva. Everyone who has passed away is taking a trip to Pu Xian if they look at the four-soil, three-generation and nine-grade products, from inferior to top grade. Pu Xian's actions are endless. Bodhisattva samantabhadra divides them into ten categories, which we call the Ten Wishes King. The first wish is to "respect Buddha", which means to respect Buddha. What is a Buddha? Everyone is a Buddha. So if you practice Pu Xian, if you are a Bodhisattva, you can see that all beings are Buddhas. How much we respect Sakyamuni Buddha and Amitabha Buddha, and how much we respect all people. If you think that it is impossible to respect Amitabha more and ordinary people less, you are wrong. You're not studying Pu Xian.

According to the Huayan Sutra, the Bodhisattva can't reach the realm of Buddhism and Taoism without practicing Pu Xian, which shows that his kung fu is lacking and incomplete. Samantabhadra is a complete knowledge, not only for all beings, but also for Buddha. He is a Buddha, that's right. The Buddha said this in the Huayan Sutra and the Jue Yuan Sutra. He said that "all living beings become Buddhas". Apart from other scriptures, the Buddha did say these righteous classics. Therefore, we see all living things in our eyes. He is the Buddha. How dare he disrespect and despise? Offending people means offending Buddha, and despising people means despising Buddha. Buddhism gives us, and from these places, your sexual virtue is revealed. You can't respect and despise people, that's worry, that's what covers up your sexuality. Get rid of this thing now, so that our endless wisdom, light and moral ability can be revealed. The ten wishes of universal enlightenment are the supreme magic weapon to develop our own bright moral ability. We met today, and we refused to use it seriously. The fault lies in oneself, not in Buddha and Bodhisattva. So you know, this is a magic weapon to develop self-nature, where to learn? Learn from respect.

In many such textbooks, regardless of any sect or method, we often see "everything is respected", which is a common saying. Not only did Buddhism teach people in this way, but in ancient China, the teaching of Confucianism also started from here. If you have read the Book of Rites, you will find it. As soon as the first "Quli" in the Book of Rites was opened, the first sentence "Quli said, don't be disrespectful" was exactly the same as the meaning of Bodhisattva Samantabhadra's "respecting all buddhas". The sages of the world teach all sentient beings, where to start? Starting with all respect, there is no disrespect. Sincerely respect people and things, how to respect things? To do things well wholeheartedly is to respect things. Everyone has a career in society, and students have not set foot in society. Studying at school is his occupation. A student should respect things, that is, study hard and study hard, that is, respect things. You're in business. You put all your energy into your career and do it well. You respect things. Respect things, too. Things refer to everything. So respect is right for all laws. You should respect tables, chairs and benches instead of asking you to put them there every day. If you kneel and kowtow to it, you will become a Buddhist idiot. How to respect tables and chairs? You clean up, put it neatly, and respect it.

Respect for people, things and things, so "for all beings" here is broad, not narrow, or just mentioned, including people, things and things. People and things are all sentient beings, and all sentient beings are a phenomenon, which comes from the harmony of all people. This is the so-called sentient beings. Don't look at this word and think it is a lot of people. This meaning is too narrow. Buddha doesn't mean this, it is generalized. Think about it, which law is not born by the combination of all the people? In modern terms, many situations that do not simply occur are phenomena caused by the convergence of karma, so they are called sentient beings. People are sentient beings, everything is sentient beings, everything is sentient beings, and Buddhism is also sentient beings. The Buddha's point of view is also born of the harmony of all people, and there is nothing but sentient beings. Therefore, for all sentient beings, we should know how to respect and respect, "there is no bad heart", and a bad heart is frivolous and careless. This is unacceptable. We should cultivate respect.

The theory of being indifferent to the world determines Bodhi's mind.

"The theory of the world" covers a very wide range. In today's words, schools and universities are closely classified and divided, and no matter how many they are divided, they are all world theories. Moreover, cosmopolitanism includes all religions. Why are the classics in religions cosmopolitan? Because you can't go out of the three realms. These ancient religious books teach us the method of spiritual practice, which is generally the birth of heaven, and we know it very well. And most of them are greedy for heaven. Who is the Jade Emperor they worship in Taoism in China and China? For the good of God. If you look closely at other foreign religions, it is probably selfish. Get up again, nightmare. The highest, probably some advanced religions in India, such as yoga and number theory, can go to Brahma, who is the first meditation. They practice meditation. Even if there are a few deep achievements, he can be born in a fantasy world. He has not yet left the three realms, so he is still included in the living theory. Buddha taught us not to be greedy for this world, but to stick to it. In other words, it is difficult for you to get out of reincarnation. In other words, people who promote Buddhism can dabble in all kinds of academic and academic works in the world, but they can't be persistent. Why do you say you can dabble? It is ok to help you pass on the scriptures, spread Buddhism and benefit your life. However, it is the object, not the Lord, but the Lord is the Buddhist scriptures, which are not the theory of the world, and even the Hinayana Sutra is not the theory of the world, which can help you surpass the six divisions in the wheel of karma. That taste is not comparable to the world theory. The flavor in cosmology is not as strong as that in Buddhist scriptures. If you go deep into the scriptures, you will realize this.

"Life depends on Bodhi." We have to abandon the previous world theory, and we have also talked a lot about the mistakes of the world theory. Bodhi is Buddhism, Bodhi is enlightenment, and Sanskrit transliteration is enlightenment and enlightenment of self-wisdom. This sentence represents all Buddhism of Mahayana and Hinayana and has confidence in the decision of Buddhism. Classics spread to China from the later Han Dynasty for nearly two thousand years. Are there any fakes mixed together in these two thousand years? We can't sayno. It's hard to say no. But it can be said that it is very few. Why are there so few? The emperor and the government of China kept strict inspection, which was beneficial, not harmful. Now people talk about freedom of speech. Freedom of speech is not said by the Buddha, but by the devil. This is not what the Buddha said. The Buddha entrusted Buddhist teachings to the king's ministers and asked them to guard them. The stricter the better. In the past, it was said that the standard was to enter Tibet and enter the Tripitaka, and the state recognized that the decision of the contemporary monk Dade was true. If it is fake, you can't enter Tibet; Anyone who enters Tibet has a high credibility. However, the problem with the new Tibetan scriptures compiled by modern people has come again, and he is not so strict. Of course, there is no problem with the classic works in the past. They were translated from Indian Sanskrit and decided to go to Tibet. The works of eminent monks and great virtues of past dynasties have to go to Tibet, and they have to go through the comments of these contemporary eminent monks and great virtues. Everyone admits that their knowledge is pure, there are no mistakes, and it completely corresponds to Buddhist scriptures. Only in this way can he report to the emperor, and the emperor approved him to enter Tibet, which is not easy. Now I am compiling Tibetan scriptures. You and I have a good relationship. If you have a work, I will put you in it.

Today, we are "centering on Bodhi", depending on the version of Tibetan scriptures. The modern version contains more things, while the ancient version is more reliable. The older, the more reliable. We understand this truth. This sutra "Da Bao Ji Jing" was translated in the Tang Dynasty, and Bodhi turned it over. The original editor of the Tripitaka collected it. This is no problem. We can have confidence and trust in it. The Tibetan Scriptures compiled by China in ancient times are much stricter than those compiled by the Japanese. Although Japan collects a lot of things, it can be used as a reference. We must check whether there is this book in the catalogue of ancient Tibetan scriptures in China. This is our people who study Confucian classics and preach Buddhism. We shouldn't be careless, but be careful.

Like the Singapore government, we admire it very much. It is very concerned about the people. Especially today, the pollution of ideas and knowledge is extremely serious, which is exactly what evil teachers call Ganges sand. What should you do? The laws and regulations of the Singapore government are good. Whenever you invite someone to give a speech for an hour, you need the government's approval. If you don't get the approval from the government, you will break the law. Speaking in public in this place, you will go to jail if you are caught in that place. You're welcome. This is good! Therefore, foreigners are not used to watching, and foreigners are free to talk, talk nonsense and talk nonsense. Books are also messy, and anyone can say anything, so people in society don't know which is right and which is evil, and there is no way to distinguish them. The national government should be responsible, you should care about the people, and you should protect them. China was once an emperor, and he had this responsibility. Heresy Jaken decided not to allow you to circulate, but to ban it. Look at ancient history. What did Kong Old Master Q do to punish Shao Zhengmao and Shao Zhengmao? Not guilty, I decided not to do this today. Shao Zhengmao is eloquent. He talks nonsense and disturbs people's hearts. Kong is very helpless to him. He was arrested and beheaded, and there was no other crime. In today's law, it is decided not to allow it. In the past, you disturbed people's hearts, and others argued with you, but they could not compete with you. He is eloquent, full of fallacies and heresies, and doesn't speak seriously. So the master can only deal with him like this. This is responsible to the society and the people. We must understand this truth. Therefore, Singapore's society is so stable and public security is so good that foreigners can't help but admire it when they come. What is the reason? The government has the responsibility. Protection is not only care in material life, but also care in spiritual life to prevent the pollution of these ideas, which is what we admire.

Nine kinds of good roots have no impurities, and their hearts are pure.

In front of you, Buddha's legal mind is a kind of good root. Good roots are free from greed, greed and delusion. What you are afraid of is tolerance, and your heart will not be clean. What is the purpose of studying all good roots? The purpose is to clear the mind, so tolerance is a big obstacle. You see, our ancestors taught us to recite the Buddha, and the general trend is that the Bodhisattva said, "All take six, and the pure mind is one after another." The enlightened Bodhisattva told us that "there is no doubt that there is no fault without impurity." They said the same thing. Clean, clean heart, tolerance is not clean, doubt is not clean, no doubt, no tolerance; Interrupt, then it is not one after another, one after another uninterrupted, uninterrupted. Our kungfu is like chanting Buddha, so are other kungfu. You must grasp this key point not only in the study of Buddhism, but also in all the work in the world, and you will decide to succeed. Nothing is unsuccessful. That is, you can't succeed if you do it wholeheartedly, without doping, doubt and interruption. This is the secret of success. This is to cultivate all the good roots and not mix them. "Nothing is mixed."

Shifang followed the thought of Tathagata into other stages.

This sentence is too important, great! Real practitioners, honest practitioners, worldly laws have been put down, and the only thing that cannot be put down is Buddhism. The Buddha can't let go, and it is polluted by the Buddha. Buddhism is brilliant, so you can't stick to it. Buddhism is admirable, admirable and reasonable, not unreasonable. What kind of teaching method is this in the world? You can't find it. Buddhism makes us clear-headed and restore our self-nature. If you are insatiable and cling to the image of the Buddha, your self-nature will still be obstructed and polluted, and the Buddha will not be able to cling to it until it is fully demonstrated. This sentence is the most complete and perfect, and it also speaks to the highest point. We don't hold the Buddha, but also "give up all aspects", which is exactly what the Diamond Sutra said: "All aspects are illusory". There is no note in it: except for the buddhas, there is no such thing, and there is no such note. Therefore, the appearance of Buddha is illusory, predestined and unattainable. All Buddhas are not persistent, not to mention the rest. Your heart is really pure, and you really entered the realm of Buddha. The ability of Buddha and Bodhisattva is that nothing is persistent, not even Buddhism. It is well said in the Diamond Sutra that "the law should be abandoned, and it is even more inviolable". What about abandonment? Not persistent. I want to study according to this method. I'm not persistent. That's right. So we have to be clear about the meaning of Buddha, and we have to be clear about it.

This is the expression of ten kinds of hearts, which is bodhicitta. These ten kinds of hearts, you should remember, each contains the remaining nine kinds. For example, we say "harmless to the hearts of all living beings", but in this article, the last nine are all sufficient, and none of them are insufficient; If you lose one, your great kindness will be missing and you will be incomplete. For example, the latter ninth article, "Planting good roots without impurities and purity", also successfully contains the other nine articles; Without one, you won't plant all the good roots completely, and there will be shortcomings. Buddhist scriptures have a strong flavor, that is, Hua Yan said, "One is all things, and all things are one." This is an out-and-out bodhicitta. We should really do it, seriously pursue it, implement it in life, family, career and society. That's right. Buddhist disciples should set a good example for the public. Where are the good examples? If you really do it, following the teaching is a good example. Buddha and Bodhisattva are our good examples. We should learn from buddhas and bodhisattvas, show them to the public and let them learn. Buddhism has declined today, and the world is so chaotic. You should investigate the root cause. We Buddhists have not fulfilled our responsibilities, followed the teachings and set a good example for society. We should be ashamed. This is our fault.
