The eight methods of "Yong" are synonymous with the calligraphy skills of ancient calligraphers when practicing regular script, and are also the basic rules of China's calligraphy. The word "Yong" involves eight basic strokes of Chinese characters: point, horizontal, vertical, hook, horizontal (pick), left, short and pressed. According to their own writing strokes, they can be summarized as eight words: side, twist, crossbow, shovel, strategy, grazing, pecking and licking. These eight strokes are the basic strokes of regular script, and each stroke has its own characteristics, which echo each other in one go. Only the strokes written according to the basic requirements of "use" can meet the basic morphological requirements of regular script and regular script can reach a considerable level.
