Chen loved martial arts since childhood, and Chen Jia's long fist was passed down from generation to generation. Under the guidance of his father, 10 mastered eighteen kinds of martial arts in his teens, and later traveled with his father, Chen Fumin, to famous teachers. Father and son went to Shanxi, transferred to Hebei and circled Shandong for half a year. Father and son visited 18 martial arts master, and Chen benefited a lot.
After middle age, Chen crouched in Chenjiagou, plowing the fields when he was busy, and practicing boxing and mentoring in his spare time, so that he was uncontested. He devoted his life to martial arts, digging and sorting out various schools of folk boxing equipment every day, comparing their similarities and differences, testing their density, and reading the medical treasure book Huang Tingjing intensively for pleasure.
Chen has been wandering the rivers and lakes for decades and knows martial arts like the back of his hand. In particular, he studied various sects for a long time and learned a lot. What's more, his boxing is no longer a family-style Tai Chi long fist, but skillfully absorbs the essence of other boxing methods.
Chen then wanted to create a new boxing method on this basis, and this new boxing method should be: first, he can fight and fight; Second, you can keep fit; Xian Yi, all ages, women and children can practice.
One day, Chen Faxian drew a Tai Chi map, which made him suddenly enlightened: Tai Chi is infinite. Infinite realm is static, meaning and action give birth to Tai Chi, Tai Chi moves to Yang, while movement is extremely quiet, and quietness gives birth to Yin. Yin and yang two instruments give birth to four images, and four images give birth to gossip, which is extended to all things. Taiji theory can be used as boxing theory!
After Chen came home, he stayed at home and thought hard for three months. Later, he studied medicine with local famous doctors, studied medical books such as Lingshu, Suwen and Huangdi Neijing, and books such as Huangtingjing and Zhouyi, and absorbed the essence of various martial arts schools according to the physiological characteristics of human body structure, meridian orientation, blood circulation and acupoint distribution.
Focused on absorbing some moves in the classic boxing of Qi Jiguang, a famous martial artist in the late Ming Dynasty, according to the medical exposition of the ancients that "Qi and blood stagnate, and all diseases heal themselves" and the principle of "rigidity in softness and brake in quietness", combined with his own martial arts experience, he compiled a unique boxing method to distinguish between excess and deficiency.
According to Tai Chi theory, this set of boxing moves from infinity to Tai Chi, from non-phase to phase, from stillness to vividness. Each move is divided into yin and yang, and the movements are mostly arc-shaped, making circular or semi-circular movements.
Chen named this new boxing "Tai Ji Chuan" because it is based on the Yin-Yang diagram of Tai Chi and has the nature and shape of the Yin-Yang diagram of Tai Chi in many aspects.
On the basis of his boxing tools, Chen Zaizu absorbed the excellent skills of various schools in the Han Dynasty, and created a unique exercise method with five sets of Tai Ji Chuan, five sets of hammers, fifteen red cannons, fifteen red cannons, one hundred single eight-style long fists and one set of double pushers.
1799, a fat boy was born in Yangjia, Yongnian County, Guangping District, Hebei Province. His father happily named him "Fukui", which later became Zen.
Yang Luchan lives in the south of the county seat and makes a living by farming. He has been brave since he was a child. Because of his poor family, he was forced to work as a helper at the miscellaneous grain stall in Chengxi Street. In his spare time, he works in Taihe Tang, a Chinese medicine shop in Xiguan Street, Guangping. This drugstore belongs to Chen Kai, a native of Chenjiagou, wen county, Jiaozuo, Henan. Seeing that Yang Luchan is honest and martial, he recommended him to study Chen Taiji in Chenjiagou.
At that time, Chen Changxing, the 14th Chen, made another milestone on the basis of ancestral Tai Ji Chuan. He refined and summarized the Tai Ji Chuan of Chen Wangting's 1st to 5th sessions, and creatively formed a complete set of routines, which became a way for Chen Tai Ji Chuan.
At that time, all the people who practiced boxing from Chen Changxing were surnamed Chen, only Yang Luchan and Li Bokui, a fellow villager who went with him, had different surnames.
Yang Luchan went to Chenjiagou to practice martial arts for the first time and touched it many times. Finally, he had to go to Chen Changxing's house to do housework. In view of Yang Luchan's respect, sincerity and perseverance, Chen Changxing was finally moved and accepted as a disciple. Yang Luchan studied hard, and finally achieved the accomplishment of Tai Ji Chuan's skills. Later, he founded Yang Tai Jichuan.
Yang Luchan later came to Beijing, and many people in the Qing Dynasty learned boxing from him, such as Prince Baylor, who was appointed as a martial arts teacher in Qiying. Therefore, Tai Ji Chuan rose from folk martial arts to the elegant hall of China martial arts and became the quintessence of China.
Wu Yuxiang and Yang Luchan are fellow villagers, born on 18 12. They have loved martial arts since childhood. They learned from Chen's old-school Taiji Biography, then from Chen Qingping, Zhao Bao and Taiji Biography, and prepared the method. At the same time, they got the Taiji Biography written by Wang Zongyue.
After Wu Yuxiang got this biography of Tai Chi, he got many insights and new explanations. Since then, I have no intention of official career, gave up scientific research and devoted my life to the study of Tai Ji Chuan. After years of painstaking research, he finally founded the unique Wu Tai Ji Chuan.
Like his father, Yang Luhan's son, Yang Banhou, is famous for his martial arts all over the world, and there are countless things about Yang Banhou winning the contest. Yang Banhou is strong-willed and strict with his disciples, so there are not many scholars. But one of the top scholars, Wu Jiahala, learned Yang's Little Taiji Biography from Yang Banhou, and later changed his surname to Wu and passed it on to his son Wu.
Later, Wu Quanjian opened a martial arts school in Shanghai, and changed Tai Ji Chuan to another school, which the world called Wu Tai Ji Chuan. Wu Yisheng trained a large number of students and made indelible contributions to the spread of Wu-style Tai Ji Chuan.
When Wu Yuxiang returned to his hometown, he passed the biography of Wu Tai Chi on to his nephew Li. Wu and Li's family are both scholarly families and official families, and their nephews and uncles are also well-read, and their understanding of boxing is easy to master, so they have achieved something.
Li, also known as She, studied under Tai Chi Chuan Bao Lian and Bao Rang, and his disciples were fellow villagers Hao Weizhen and Ge Fulai of Qinghe County.
Sun Lutang, a master of eight diagrams in form and meaning, studied under Hao Weizhen. 19 18 years, Sun Lutang taught Laozi the way of nature, combined with the meaning of Yijing to wash the marrow, used the form of Zhou Zi's Taiji diagram, adopted the theory of Heluo, and finally merged Taiji, form, meaning and gossip into one furnace, and established the Sun Shi.
Sun Lutang devoted his life to teaching boxing, and his footprints spread all over the country. During the period from 19 15 to 1932, Sun Lutang not only wrote Tai Ji Chuan studies, but also wrote important monographs and articles such as Xingyi Boxing, Bagua Palm Studies, Telling the Truth about Boxing, Bagua Sword Studies and On the Difference between Family and Family in Boxing.
Although Sun Lutang is famous all over the world, his frugal quality is as simple as ever. He was indifferent to fame and fortune all his life, and he was not a powerful man. He has dabbled in "inner sincerity and external harmony" and does not seek fame. He is not modest when he meets fellow travelers, such as omnipotent.
In his later years, he lived in seclusion in the countryside, predicted the day of death, did not eat for 20 years, and practiced calligraphy and boxing every day. On his deathbed, Sun Lutang sat in a chair with his back to the northwest and his face to the southeast, telling his family not to cry and saying, "I regard life and death as a game ear."
Tai Ji Chuan is famous all over the world.
