There are generally two situations for hollowing out tiles: one is that the cement connection layer between the original wall tiles and the wall has been separated, and the tiles will fall off when you dig the tiles by hand; In the second case, the wall brick is firmly connected with cement, but the cement and the wall itself are empty. As a result, the wall was hollowed out in a large area. In this case, the wall brick will fall and hurt people at any time. It is suggested that the professional master immediately remove the original tiles and redo the basement.
How to deal with the empty drum of wall brick;
1, local empty drum
It is found that the wall brick is partially hollowed out, but it has not affected the safety of furniture, household appliances and family members, so it can be left untreated temporarily. Once a potential safety hazard is found, the empty drum tiles should be knocked out immediately and re-paved.
2, empty drum in the corner
It is found that only the edge of the tile is empty, so it is not necessary to replace the tile for the time being, but it should be dealt with as soon as possible if there is time. Treatment: Break the gap between tiles with a shovel, and pour cement into the gap with water. The empty part of the wall brick will automatically absorb the cement slurry until it is filled and solidified.
Three or two thirds of the area is empty.
If this happens, please ask the professional master to tear it down and repave it immediately. It is suggested to use adhesive cement, which is more viscous than ordinary cement.
