On the format of eight metrical poems

Rhyme form

Metric poetry is very strict, and there are strict rules on the number, number of words, rhyme, level tone and antithesis of sentences:

1, each song is limited to eight sentences: the five laws stipulate that each sentence has five words, and the whole song has 40 words; The seven laws stipulate that each sentence has seven words, a total of 56 words.

2, limited to the use of flat rhyme, and a rhyme to the end, the middle can not change rhyme. The five laws take the first sentence as a positive example and rhyme as an example; The seven laws take the rhyme of the first sentence as a positive example, and the non-rhyme as a variant.

3. The sentence pattern and word level of each sentence are stipulated: pay attention to adhesion and rightness.

4. The couplets in each poem can be as many as three or as few as one, which is an important feature of metrical poems.

General metrical poems have four rhymes and eight sentences, which are called "four links", followed by "first link", "parallel link", "neck link" and "tail link". The first couplet and the last couplet may not be couplet, but the parallel couplet and the neck couplet are couplet. If it is arranged, except for the first pair and the second pair, there are more in the middle, which are all opposite. As for duality, or "pair" for short, it will be said in detail later, and there are many doorways in it. This paper first talks about the phonological law.

The metrical norms of five-character metrical poems are basically as follows:

Five-character verse one (pursed up is the first word pursed up):

Even, even,

Flat and light. This is the first link, and the two sentences are flat. This is the "right" in melody.

Flat, the second word of this sentence must be the same as the previous one. This is called "sticky".

It is flat. This is a couplet, and two sentences are straightforward. This is the "right" in melody.

Flat and even, the second word of this sentence must be the same as the previous one. This is called "sticky".

Flat and light. This is a neckline, and the two sentences are flat and relative. This is the "right" in melody.

Flat, the second word of this sentence must be the same as the previous one. This is called "sticky".

It is flat. This is the end couplet, and two sentences are straightforward. This is the "right" in melody.

In this way, in the roundabout of "right" and "sticky", the specification of pentatonic meter is formed.

Five-character verse 2 (stand up, that is, the first word is flat):

Flat and faint,

It is flat.

Even, even,

Flat and light.

Flat and faint,

It is flat.

Even, even,

Flat and light.

The relationship between "sticky" and "right" is as mentioned above.

The seven laws are nothing more than adding two words before a five-character sentence, one word before a flat sentence and one word before a flat sentence.

Seven-character verse one:

Ping, ping,

Even, even, even.

Very simple, very simple,

Flat and light, flat and light.

Ping, ping,

Even, even, even.

Very simple, very simple,

Flat and light, flat and light.

Seven-character poem 2:

Very simple, very simple,

Flat and light, flat and light.

Ping, ping,

Even, even, even.

Very simple, very simple,

Flat and light, flat and light.

Ping, ping,

Even, even, even.

If the first sentence rhymes, then:

Seven-character verse three:

Flat and faint,

Even, even, even.

Very simple, very simple,

Flat and light, flat and light.

Ping, ping,

Even, even, even.

Very simple, very simple,

Flat and light, flat and light.

Seven-character verse four:

Even, even, even,

Flat and light, flat and light.

Ping, ping,

Even, even, even.

Very simple, very simple,

Flat and light, flat and light.

Ping, ping,

Even, even, even.

The relationship between "right" and "sticky" is as mentioned above.
