How many years can the chief clerk be promoted to the deputy level?
The chief clerk is a section chief, who can choose a deputy after serving for three years. \x0d\ Article 8 of the Regulations on the Selection and Appointment of Leading Cadres of the Party and Government stipulates that a person holding a leading position in the Party and Government shall meet the following basic requirements: \x0d\ (1) A person holding a leading position at the county level shall have more than five years' service and more than two years' grassroots work experience. \x0d\ (2) A person who is promoted to a leadership position at or above the county level shall generally have the experience of holding two or more positions at the next level. \x0d\ (3) If a deputy is promoted to a leadership position at or above the county level, he/she shall work in the deputy position for more than two years, and if a subordinate principal is promoted to a superior deputy, he/she shall work in the subordinate principal position for more than three years. The number of years of service as a non-leadership position at or above the division level shall be implemented in accordance with relevant regulations. \x0d\ (4) Generally, they should have a college degree or above, among which leading cadres at bureau level or above should generally have a bachelor degree or above. \x0d\ (5) Training shall be conducted by Party School, School of Administration, Cadre College or other training institutions recognized by the organization (personnel) department, and the training time shall meet the relevant requirements of cadre education and training. Those who fail to meet the pre-service training requirements due to special circumstances shall complete the training within one year after taking office. \x0d\ (6) Having physical conditions for performing duties normally. \x0d\ (7) Meet the qualification requirements stipulated by relevant laws.
