Table tennis grip method

(a) the straight hand grip.

The characteristic of backhand grip is that both forehand and backhand hit the ball with the same side of the racket. In general, there is no need for double-sided conversion. Quick shooting; The forehand attack is fast and powerful, and the shape of the racket does not change much when attacking the oblique straight ball, so it is difficult for the opponent to judge, which is convenient for gaining the initiative from speed, ball path and strength; The wrist is flexible and the serve changes greatly. However, it is difficult to grasp the blocking and lifting of backhand attack; When the attack and defense alternate, the technique changes greatly, which affects the hitting speed and accuracy; Take care of the area when defending.

1, near-table fast break grip

Before tapping, beat with the second knuckle of index finger and the first finger of thumb; The back three fingers of the racket are bent and stuck to the upper end of 1/3. This grip is called middle clip for short.

2, loop ball grip method

Before the racket, the thumb clings to the left side of the racket handle, and the index finger buckles the racket handle to form a small ring to hold the racket handle tightly; After filming, the three fingers naturally bend towards the middle of the beat. This grip is suitable for the loop ball method. At present, there are fewer players who clap their hands.

3. Hold the racket directly.

Bend your thumb, cling to the left side of the racket handle, press down hard, and the other four fingers naturally hold the racket back separately. When forehand chopping the ball, try to make the racket face lean backwards to reduce the impact of the ball; When chopping the ball backhand, the four fingers can catch the racket flexibly after the racket, and the racket handle is down.

(2) Horizontal grip method

The characteristics of the horizontal grip are that the area taken care of is larger than that of the direct grip, and the grip method does not change much when attacking and chopping the ball; Backhand attack is not affected by physical obstacles, which is convenient for exerting strength; It is convenient to use force when chopping the ball, and it is easy to exert the arm strength and master the rotation change. However, when hitting the left and right balls irregularly, it is necessary to rotate the racket face, which will affect the speed of the swing arm; When attacking a straight ball, the action is obviously seen by the opponent; Taiwan Province's forehand attack is difficult to master.

The basic grip of the horizontal racket is: the tiger's mouth sticks to the racket, the index finger is in front of the racket, and the thumb is behind the racket. This kind of grip is also called figure eight. When hitting the ball forehand, the index finger moves slightly upward. When hitting the ball backhand, the thumb moves slightly upward.

(3) Problems that should be paid attention to when holding the racket.

1, the grip should not be too big, too small, too deep or too shallow, so as not to affect the flexibility of wrist movements and the power of hitting the ball.

2. Don't hold the racket too hard with your fingers before or after you are ready to hit the ball, whether it is a straight grip or a horizontal grip. In this way, on the one hand, it is convenient to restore the shape of the racket to the state of preparing to hit the ball; On the other hand, you can also relax the muscles of all parts of your hand in time to avoid the stiffness of your wrist and forearm caused by too tight grip.
